외국인 유학생의 여가스트레스전략이 문화적응스트레스에 미치는 영향

최근 국내 대학에서 학위 과정 중인 외국인 유학생 수가 꾸준히 증가하고 있으나 이들은 한국 문화적응에 큰 스트레스를 겪는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본고에서는 여가스트레스전략이 직접적으로 문화적응스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 했다. 이를 위해 2023년 3월 1일부터 3월 20일까지 국내 거주 기간이 3년 이하이며 교양 한국어 수업을 듣는 외국인 유학생 264명을 유목적표집으로 조사하였다. 이후 응답이 누락된 39부를 제외한 최종 225부의 설문지로 연구결과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 여가스트레스전략 중‘여가교우’와 ‘여가완화대처’가 긍정적 영향을 미친 반면‘여가분위기향상’은 큰 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이후 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 외국인 유학생들의 문화적응스트레스 해소를 위한 여가 방안을 구체적으로 제안하였다. Recently, the number of international students studying at domestic universities has been steadily increasing. In particular, they were found to have great stress in acculturation. Therefore, in this paper, we tried to examine how leisure stress coping measures directly affect cultural adaptation stress. To this end, 264 people were collected using purposeful sampling from foreign students who lived in Korea for less than three years from March 1 to March 20, 2023. After that, the results of the study were analyzed with the final 225 questionnaires, excluding 39 copies with missing responses. As a result, it was found that ‘leisure companionship’ and ‘leisure palliative coping’ had a positive effect on relieving cultural adaptation stress, while ‘leisure mood enhancement’ did not have a significant impact on relieving cultural adaptation stress. Afterwards, based on these results, a leisure plan was specifically proposed to leisure stress coping of foreign students.
