Nowadays strict CO2 regulation leads lightened vehicle development to overcome it by worldwide motor company. One of main solution for it is to apply plastic material for front fender but the material is extremely weak for high thermal and humidity even with specific plastic material. After all, it makes restriction for engineering of the part. Most of the solution against the concerns had been developed but countermeasure for style freedom should be created more. Especially serious concern happens mainly at A pillar of body side in case of vehicle with horizontal fender parting line. It gives big impact to engineering feasibility. So this paper explains capitalized solution against it, which was studied and applied to Renault-Samsung’s current vehicle.
