The purpose of the present study is to analyze the content of social minority groups in high school ‘Society and Culture’ textbooks and to provide suggestions for improving textbook development. The results of analysis are as follows. First, the definition of the concept subsumes current sociological theories, but the conceptual features such as complexity, relativity, intersectionality, and variability are scarcely discussed. Second, social minorities are categorized as outgroup members and they are labeled as “them.” Third, examples of the social minority are focused mostly on persons with disabilities and foreign workers. Fourth, the visions of citizenship pursued by the textbooks are conservative. Active citizenship should be emphasized so that students are encouraged to be more engaged with the people around them and change the world for the better.

어머니의 한국어 능력이 다문화 청소년의 자아존중감을 매개로 학업성취에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to examine effects of mother’s Korean ability on multicultural adolescents’ academic achievement and the mediating effects of their self-esteem. In order to accomplish this purpose, data of 1283 multicultural students born to a foreign mother and a Korean father were examined. Frequency Analysis, Descriptive Analysis, Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis were conducted using SPSS 24.0. Also, Bootstrapping method was used by SPSS Process Macro to verify the mediating effects of the self-esteem. The main results of this study are as follows. First, mother's Korean ability is found to have a positive effect on multicultural adolescents’ academic achievement and self-esteem. Second, multicultural adolescents’ self-esteem has also been found to have a positive effect on their academic achievement. Lastly, the association between mother’s Korean ability and multicultural adolescents’ academic achievement was fully mediated by their self-esteem. Based on the result, this study suggested practical and political solutions to alleviate and prevent multicultural adolescents’ academic achievement problems. 본 연구는 어머니의 한국어 능력이 다문화 청소년의 자아존중감을 매개로 하여 학업성취에 미치는 영향관계를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원이 수집한 ‘다문화 청소년 패널조사(Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study)’ 6차년도 자료를 활용하였고 외국인 어머니와 한국인 아버지를 둔 다문화 청소년 1,283명을 대상으로 선정하였다. SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석 및 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였고 SPSS Macro를 활용한 Bootstrapping 방법을 통해 매개효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 어머니의 한국어 능력이 높을수록 다문화 청소년의 학업성취와 자아존중감이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 다문화 청소년의 자아존중감이 높아질수록 학업성취가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 어머니의 한국어 능력과 다문화 청소년의 학업성취 간 관계에서 자아존중감이 완전매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 다문화 청소년이 경험하는 학업 성취 문제를 완화하고 예방하는 실천적, 정책적 대안을 논의하고자 한다.

p-Aminosalicylic acid를 포함하고 있는 Chitin, Chitosan-Microsphere의 용출특성

The Applicability of chitin or chitosan microsphere as means to achieve sustained release of p-aminosalicylic acid(PAS) has been examined. The microsphere of chitin or chitosan containing PAS were prepared by coacervation in acidic aqueous system in range of pH 2.0-4.0. The dissolution test of PAS from polymeric drug system was carried out in vitro test. The dissolution rate of PAS from the microsphere with chitin was significanthly lower than that from the microsphere with chitosan.The dissolution rate of PAS from the microsphere was decreased with increasing of concentration of chitin and chitosan. The sustained release of PAS from the microsphere was more effective at pH 1.2 than pH 6.8.

外注認定基準制度의 性格, 內容 및 運營에 關한 批判的 評價

외주인정기준제도는 지상파 텔레비전의 외주제작편성비율이 편법적으로 운영되는 부분이 크다는 인식 하에서 외주제작 프로그램으로 인정할 수 있는지를 결정하는 기준을 마련하여 외주제도의 운영 합리성을 높이자는 취지로 2012년부터 실시되고 있다. 이 글은 외주인정기준제도의 도입배경과 도입과정을 검토하고, 현행 외주인정기준제도의 법적 성격, 내용 및 운영방식을 비판적으로 평가하고자 한다. 궁극적으로 이 글은 외주인정기준제도의 실효성과 무엇이 결핍되어 있는지를 논하고자 한다. The decision criteria policy of commissioned programs has been implemented since 2012 in order to improve the rationality of management of the independent production policy. The decision criteria policy was made on the basis of the recognition that the independent production policy has been implemented in an expedient way in many cases. This paper reviews the background and process of introducing the criteria of commissioned programs, and appraises the legal characteristic, content, and management of the policy. This paper ultimately discusses the efficiency of the policy and what the policy is lack of.

넷플릭스 스포츠 다큐멘터리의 탈지역화: <나는 스모 선수입니다>의 분석을 중심으로

This study examined Little Miss Sumo, a Netflix original short film intensively showing the characteristics of sports documentaries that global OTT can take. Sports documentaries in existing TV programs and films have focused on the success story of sports stars and best teams, which basically attracts viewers by emphasizing local sentiments such as nationality and hometowns. On the other hand, in the production of sports documentaries by global OTT, a delocalization strategy has become inevitable to appeal to the global market. Little Miss Sumo did not choose the delocalization strategy focusing on global stars, but adopted the pluralistic approach, the de-nationalist approach, and universal social issues that are adopted in other genres of programs by Netflix. In addition, this study showed that this work used sports as a metaphor so that people can pay attention to universal social issues, not to game skills or competition, rather than to the sports game itself which inevitably has local sentiments. 이 연구는 글로벌 OTT가 취할 수 있는 스포츠 다큐멘터리의 특징들을 집약한 넷플릭스 오리지널 단편작인 <나는 스모 선수입니다>를 조명하였다. 기존의 방송 프로그램과 영화로 제작된 스포츠 다큐멘터리는 스타선수나 베스트 팀의 성공신화에 역점을 두었는데, 이는 근본적으로는 국가, 연고지(홈타운) 등의 지역정서를 강조하여 시청자들을 끌어모으는 것이다. 반면, 글로벌 OTT의 스포츠 다큐멘터리는 글로벌 시장에서 어필할 수 있도록 탈지역화가 불가피했다. <나는 스모 선수입니다>는 글로벌 스타를 소재로 삼는 가장 일차적인 탈지역화 전략을 택하지 않고, 넷플릭스가 다른 장르에서도 채택했던 방법처럼 다원주의적 접근, 탈국가주의적 접근, 보편적 사회쟁점 등을 채택하였다. 또한 본 연구는 이 작품이 지역정서를 필연적으로 가질 수밖에 없는 스포츠 그 자체에 시청자의 시선이 머물게 하지 않고, 경기기술이나 승부가 아닌 보편적인 사회적 쟁점에 주목할 수 있도록 스포츠를 은유로 사용했음을 보여주었다.

축산냄새 저감을 위한 미생물특성 및 사용현황

최근 축사에서 발생되는 냄새를 저감하기 위해 다양한 기술들이 개발되어 현장에 적용되고 있으나 아직까지 효율성, 경제성, 안전성 세 가지 측면을 동시에 만족시킬 수 있는 방법은 제시되지 못하고 있다. 축산냄새 물질은 크게 암모니아와 휘발성아민, 휘발성 황화합물, 인돌, 페놀 및 휘발성 지방산 등으로 구분된다. 돈분뇨에서 자생하는 미생물들을 살펴보면 Gram-positive cocci, Eubacteruium, Lactobacillus, Gram-negative rods, Clostridium, Propionibacterium acnes 와 Bacteroides 등의 순으로 나타나며 대부분 혐기성 혹은 통성혐기성 균에 해당된다. 이들 중 Streptococcus sp. 및 Peptostreptococcus sp. 등은 분변 내에서 암모니아와 휘발성 지방산을 생산하고, Eubacterium sp.의 경우 부티르산, 포름산, 아세트산 등의 생산에 관여한다. Clostridium sp.의 경우 암모니아, 황화수소, 지방산 및 아민을 다량 생성하고 인돌과 페놀의 생성에도 관여하는 것으로 알려졌다. 본 연구에서는 가축분뇨에서의 냄새물질 발생 메커니즘을 파악하고, 냄새 저감 효능을 가진 돈분 유래 Bacillus 4 종의 특성을 조사하였으며 아울러 축산선진국들의 냄새저감을 위한 미생물 활용 현황을 제시하였다.
