정신간호학 실습시 환자가 보이는 성행동에 대한 간호학생의 효과적 행동반응에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to determine the student's behavioral responses toward to sexual harassment from patients and the consequential effects on patient-student relationship in the psychiatric unit. The subjects of this study were 147 nursing students selected from 2 junior colleges and 2 nursing colleges. The data were collected by means of a self-reported questionnare from Sep. 22 to Dec. 30, 1994. Data analysis included percentage, priority order, one-way ANOVA. The results were as follows : The most frequently reported means of harassment was physical touch, sexual innuendo, over exhibition, etc. The behavioral responses were classified 5 types. Most of students responded by verval and physical limitation and passive behaviors such as escape from that situation and patience. The students responsed differently according to severity and type of sexual harassment. By these, 49.1% of all cases stopped sexual harassment. But there are only 1 desirable case. The other patients were withdrawn or not really understood. Clearly expressive response was most desirable effect on the patient-student relationship. These results suggest that the students should be taught more practical and concrete coping skill for sexual harassments.
자폐적 행동 양상을 보이는 아동과 어머니간의 애착 발달에 관한 분석적 연구

This study was conducted to examine the feature of attachment and the main factors of attachment development between autistic child and his or her mother. Data was collected at Day Care Center for Children with Developmental Disorder in S National University Hospital through nurses's in S National University Hospital through nurses's participating observation, interview with the mothers, and review of nursing records, from April 2 to June 30, 1994. The subjects were all 6 children, one was a girl, the others were boys, and their mothers who participate at the sensory-integrative play for attachment promotion served at this center. Content analysis was done for data analysis. First, all data were categorized by main concepts, reciprocity and affect. Then these wee analyzd and discussed on the aspects of specificity, proximity, synchrony, joint attention, strong affect, emotional availability which were chosen as the components of attachment through literature review. The results of this study were summarized as follows : all subjects were underdeveloped, unstable and showed different level of mother-child attachment. But during the program their attachment behaviors improved little by little. The behaviors which represented specificity, proximity, and strong affect were increased considerably, on the other hand the behaviors which represented joint attention and emotional availability were scarce. The more mother and child had contact and interacted merrily, the more their attachment behaviors developed. Another important factors of attachment development in these cases were mother and child's each characteristics. Especially the child's autistic peculiarity, such as indifference, severe resistance, distracterbility, stereotype tendency, physical condition were major barriers of maintatining the mother-child interaction. Also mother's attitude to her child, raring skill and physical condition were influencing factors. A few mothers who were anxious and stubborn had much more difficulty to adjust to their children. The mother who had experienced happiness with her child, especially if the mother experienced more fun at the play by herself became more positive, active and flexible, and that mother-child interaction maintained much longer and improved. It was more critical to help them enjoy their interaction. Thus nurses had to plan and intervene more joyful and various play, and consider mother's need in addition to child's need. And The program should be strengthened to support the mother emotionally to maximize the therapeutic effect.

This study was conducted to put an appropriate caring focus of nursing for autistic children by reviewing literature. Autistic children have lots of social disturbances. These social impairments are basic barriers to living with other people and adjusting themselves to circumstances. In this respect, nurses should help autistic children effectively by applying nursing process. First, social skills and pathological behaviors have to be measured qualitatively and quantitatively. Second the clear nusring goal has to be set, then the plan for structuring routine and special activity, play priority, nursing delivery consistency has to be established. Also nurses have to plan for selection of toys, participation of family members. Third, effective intervention for these children has to be given with some consideration. It needs natural and slowly progressive approach according to optimal level of each child. Finally, nurses have to evaluate progress and feedback regulary with associate nurses and family. Promotion of social development needs further effort and creativity in development of assessment tool and natural and therapeutic play. Especially nurses must try to help promote early social development and expand nursing role and function at community and home care setting, as well as clinical nursing.
예방적 정신간호를 위한 극복력(Resilience) 개념의 탐색

Resilience is a relevant concept to nurses because of its implication for nursing and health. Some individuals remain healthy and even become resilient when faced with multiple adverse life events. Nursing is concerned with individuals in the process of moving through adverse life events toward higher level of well-being. The purpose of this article was to enhance understanding of the concept of resilience so nurses can apply this concept in nursing practice and research. This article presented review and syntheses of selected journal publications on resilience that have appeared on Medline. This article described the concept of resilience, explored models of resilience disclosed in the literature, indentifies factors that influence resilience, examines the attributes of resilience, and reviews the previous researches. Nursing implications and future research were discussed. Conclusions were made for nurses to foster individual's resilience.
정신간호 실습학생의 환자와의 치료적 관계에 있어 性과 관련된 문제점에 대한 연구

The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of sexual harassment of nursing students from patients in the psychiatric unit and to get basic data for efficient guidline to deal with those problematic situation. The subjects of this study were 215 nursing students selected from 2 junior colleges and 2 nursing colleges. The data were collected by means of a self-reported questionnare from Sep. 22 to Dec. 30, 1994. Data analysis included percentage, X^(2)-test, Pearson Correlation. The results were as follows; A total of about 68% students had experiences of being harassed by sexual behavior from patients. The most frequent means of harassment was physical touch, sexual innuendo, etc. There were no significant correlation between the occurrence of sexual harassments and characteristics of respondents, clinical situation. Most of students with this experiences had negative feelings and appraisal of the patient. Especially about 40% students coped with those situations ineffectively. These results suggest that the students should learn to get more practical and concrete coping skill for sexual harassments through clinical conference.
