In this study, the effects of the inelastic shear behavior of beam-column joint and masonry infill walls on the response of RC IMRF are evaluated in the inelastic time history analysis, where 5-story structures were designed in accordance with KBC2009. M-φ relationship for beam and column was identified with fiber model, the behavior of the joint was reproduced with simple and unified joint shear behavior model and an inelastic masonry infill wall was simulated with two diagonal braces. The hysteretic behavior was simulated with three-parameter model suggested in IDARC program. The analytical results showed that the effect of beam-column joint and masonry wall on the structural behavior was trivial and that the inelastic shear behavior of the joint could be neglected in the structural design for seismic design category C but the structure of category D did not satisfy the criteria of FEMA 356 for collapse prevention performance level.
R4U 테라피스트의 근무환경과 테라피스트 역량이 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 서비스 성과의 조절효과를 중심으로

Purpose: Although Korea has already entered a super-aged society and the interest of people in this country in health and beauty has increased, a number of firms involved have been going bankrupt due to the influence of Coronavirus Disease 2019. Nonetheless, the R4U therapy has recently been developed by amplifying microcurrents and attracting many consumers' attention and has been rapidly spreading widely throughout the nation. This study aimed to investigate the working environment of R4U therapists and the effects of their abilities on their job satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology: Constructs were measured using a total of 46 questions with a five-point Likert scale. A questionnaire was sent to managers or employees who have been working at R4U energy therapist shops. Data had been collected for three months between September 1 and November 30, 2020. A total of 173 questionnaires were used for analysis. Results: The better working conditions for R4U therapists are, the greater their job satisfaction is. Second, the more active the therapists are, the more satisfied they are with their jobs. Third, service performance was shown to control the effect of R4U therapy on job satisfaction. As the performance of the therapist service is low, the job satisfaction is low when the working environment was better, but when the performance of the therapist service was high, the job satisfaction increased as the working environment improved. Fourth, because service performance little controls the impact of a therapist’ s ability on the job satisfaction, there is little difference in service performance in influencing job satisfaction Implications: We found the effects of the recently developed R4U therapy on therapists’ job satisfaction from managers’ and employees’ views. We expected that further research after R4U therapy is further spreading widely across the country would justify the results of our study.

In this study, the effects of the inelastic shear behavior of beam-column joint, the vertical distribution of lateral load considering higher modes and masonry infill walls on the response of RC IMRF are evaluated in the pushover analysis, where 5-story structures were designed in accordance with KBC2009. M-φ relationship for beam and column was identified with fiber model. An analytical model for inelastic beam-column joint was suggested and the behavior of the joint was reproduced with simple and unified joint shear behavior model. An inelastic masonry infill wall was simulated with two diagonal braces. Negligence of inelastic shear behavior of the joint caused overestimate of the maximum strength of the structures. The structures with masonry infill walls showed greater initial stiffness and maximum strength than those for the structure without the walls and the differences disappeared after the failure of the walls.

Four species of water fleas (Daphnia magna, Daphnia pulex, Daphnia galeata, and Moina macrocopa) were examined for the clarification of their reproduction with culture conditions. The reproduction tests of water flea by the culture conditions were carried out. For the comparison of the reproduction rate, five media (manure-soil medium, DIN medium, M4 medium, EPA medium, fertilizer medium) were applied to determine the best medium. Daphnia magna, Daphnia pulex, and Moina macrocopa were appeared the best reproduction in the manure-soil medium at 20℃. The lifespan and young reproduction were better in manure-soil medium than the others. But Daphnia galeata was lived for 34 days in the fertilizer medium at 20℃. The culture of Daphnia galeata was difficult to rear than the other species. In the current study, the microcystin of Microcysits sp. did not particularly affect on the survival of water fleas. But the lifespan was short and the reproduction rate was low. Therefore water flea have a preference for Scenddesmus sp. than Microcystis sp. On the condition of the feeding Scenedesmus sp., all examined water fleas appeared to have the longest lifespan and the most young water fleas produced at any medium temperature, the lifespan was longer on 20℃ than 15℃.
