The combustion period is influenced by the intake air humidity in the 4 stroke LPG engine. In this paper, I studied performance of LPG engine with change of inlet air humidity according to the variation of ignition timing. The results obtained are as follows. 1. THe engine brake horse power increases to 92% of inlet air humidity and further increase of humidity decreases its power. 2. The HC emission decreases by increasing humidity.

This paper refer to variation state of brake horse power, torque, specific fuel consumption, and emission (CO, 1-IC) of 4cycle ignition engine in case of mixture fuel, according as variable engine speed. Methanol-gasoline mixture ratio were 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, The resuls are as follows ; 1. In 30o mixture fuel, brake horse power, torque, specific fuel consumption were increased. 2. Using methanol mixture fuel, carbonmonoxide (CO), hydrocarbon (HC) emission were reduced.
스피넬상 LiMn₂O₄를 이용한 CO₂분해에 대한 수치모사

In the batch system, the mathematical modelling was done on the CO₂ decomposition reaction using the LiMn₂O₄ catalyst of 100-120 mesh. The porosity of catalysts and the amount of adsorption were observed by the mathematical analysis. The chemical reaction was mainly reacted at the surface reaction of catalysts more than pore of catalysts. The variety of concentration and real values in the catalysts were predicted and amount of adsorption was calculated. By the mathematical analysis, the adsorption of surface was superior to that of inner face of pore. In case of the identical weight of catalysts, the rate of CO₂ decomposition was increasing by increasing CO₂ concentrations.

The perovskite-type compounds $La_{1-x}Ca_xCoO_3$ were synthesized, their thermochemical properties and the gaseous sensitivity were investigated in ethanol vapor. The maximum response for detecting gas corresponded with the exothermic peak of DTA experiment. In any case the substituent was increased, the responsive ratio for detecting gas was grown upon. However, the needed time for response was later, and the operating temperature was elevated. The mechanism of this electrical conductivity was explained by the oxygen ionic diffusion through oxygen vacancy produced by the substituent.

1150, 1450, 1600.deg.C에서 MgO-SiO$_{2}$-Al$_{2}$O$_{3}$계를 유리성분으로 하는 mullite-glass질 회로기판재료의 소결거동에 미치는 MgO첨가량과 소성시간에 따른 영향을 조사하였으며 주로 소성시간이 밀도, 기공분포, 미세구조 및 생성상에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 1150.deg.C에서는 MgO의 첨가량에 관계없이 소결이 진행되지 않았으며 1450.deg.C에서는 MgO첨가량에 따라 소결속도가 증가하였다. 1600.deg.C에서는 각조성의 시료 모두가 빨리 과소성단계에 도달하였다. 1450.deg.C에서는 MgO 0.85% 첨가했을때 소성시간에 따라 기공량은 감소하는 반면 기공경은 일정하게 증가하였다. 먼저 .alpha.-SiO$_{2}$가 cristobalite로 전이한 후에 MgO와 반응하여 유리상으로 된다.

MgO-SiO₂-AI₂O₃계를 유리성분으로 하는 mullite-glass질 회로기판재료의 소결거동에 미치는 MgO첨가량의 영향과 소성온도 및 시간이 겉보기밀도와 미구조에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 소결거동은 3단계로 분류되며, 첫째 단계에서는 입자들이 재배열되며, 둘째 단계에서는 액상이 생성하여 치밀화되며, 셋째 단계에서는 과소성된다. 한편 MgO첨가량에 관계없이 1150℃에서는 소결이 진행되지 않으며, 1600℃에서는 모든 시료가 매우 빨리 과소성되었다. 1450℃에서는 MgO첨가량에 따라 소결속도가 증가하였다. 미세구조가 변하는 온도는 MgO첨가량에 따라 달라지지만 각 단계에서는 조성에 관계없이 같은 미세구조를 나타내었다. The sinterability of mullite-glass, MgO-SiO₂-AI₂O₃, added with varying amount of MgO was studied at different sintering temperature and time in air. The sinterability was studied on the basis bulk density and microstruture. The sinterability was devided into 3 stages. In the first stage, the particles were rearranged. In the second stage, the particles of the samples were dense due to the producing of glassy phase. In the third stage, all the samples were over-sintered rapidly. Sintering was not occured at all at 1150℃, and all the samples were over-sintered rapidly at 1600℃. At 1450℃ the sinterability was improved with the addition of MgO. Although the temperature which effects on the microstructure was changed according to the amount of MgO added, it was always the same microstructure in each stage regardless of the amount of MgO.

The smoke concentration of diesel engine is influenced by the fuel characteristics and engine operating conditions. In this paper, the smoke concentration and the engine performance have been investigated for verious kerosen-diesel fuel blends It was found that the most effective fuel blend for smoke concentration reduction were kerosen-diesel fuel mixing ratio 20%. For the above fuel blend condition, the engine performance were improved.

Continously the first paper, in this paper, was studied that the valve over lap length changed by exhaust valve timing was afford to engine performance and exhaust emission by means of 'measuring the low and high indicator diagram and the exhaust emission of hydrocarbon and carbonmonoxide. The results were following. 1) Volumetric efficiency, brake horse power and indicated horse power become maximum at the place of valve over lap length nearby 30 degree. 2) Carbonmonoxide and hydrocarbon become minimum at the place of valve over lap length nearby 30 degree.

The smoke concentration of diesel engine is influenced by the fuel characteristics and engine operating conditions. In this paper, the smoke concentration and the engine performance have been investigated for methanol diesel fuel mixing ratio change. It was found that the most effective methanol mixing ratio for smoke concentration was 10%. In that condition, the engine performance and the fuel consumption ratio were improved.
