This dissertation proposed a remote management system monitoring and controlling UPS(Uninterruptable Power Supply), which is an emergency power facilities, on the Web environment. Recently, due to the development of the information communication and network, a network environment taking information from far end, network management protocols, and various network management system (NMS) have been developed, and studied on the remote management for various facilities. Especially, since the electrical accidents such as instantaneous shutdown or voltage variation would have significant influence on computer system and automatic control system, the utility of UPS as a stable voltage and emergency power source becomes important and needs its constant management. The conventional UPS management system via serial communication pro- vides only monitoring function.
슬라이딩모드 가변구조-퍼지제어를 이용한 유도전동기 구동시스템에 관한 연구

In this paper, an induction motor (IM) drive system using sliding mode variable structure control and fuzzy control method is presented. The variable structure control (VSC) is a modern control algorithm that has robustness and invariance against external disturbance and parameter variation. But the VSC has chattering problem in the sliding mode. In fuzzy control scheme, it has good dynamic response characteristics and it is easy to construct plant model. A synthetical control scheme combining the advantages of sliding mode variable structure control and fuzzy control is studied and a speed controller with sliding mode variable structure - fuzzy control (SMVS-FC) is designed. It is also applied to the speed controller for field-oriented controlled (FOC) IM. The computer simulation results prove that the proposed speed controller has a fast dynamic response without overshoot in transient state and robustness against external disturbances and parameter variation in steady state.

In this paper, the number of network in use and using rate ave gradually increuse, so normal motion of network needs continous management, Various Network management system (network constraction rule, protocol) is developing and using. Accordingly most of the applied network menagement system use SNMP as a standard management protocol.

In modern control theory, certain types of design algorithm, such as the liner regulator theory, naturally lead to state-variable feed back. Since the eigen valves of a linear system directly control the transient response of the system, is would be desirable it the designer is able to place the eigenvalues according to the performonce specifications. In this paper we shall study the time-domain per-formance of a control system whose objective is to control the position of a load that has viscous friction and inertid. Based on the adaptive control system with the same structure as Narendia and Valovani's typical oen, the design guideline and stability property of the overall control system are stated.

Recently, the function of UPS(uninterruptible Power Supply) becomes more important since the high quality power sources are required in the network monitoring system, automation process, etc. In this paper, network management system based on the LAN(local area network) is investigated. It was verified through the experiment that the informations of UPS are transferred to the SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) manager through the agent board. It also verified that the UPS system is controlled by the control commands including bypass transfer command, reset, standby, on-line, etc generated from the SNMP manager. The remote management system can be applied to the monitoring system of power generation , remote control of various power equipment as well as UPS.

This paper proposed an improved inverter systems with constant current regulation based on improved measuring technique of feedback current. To improve the response and precision of the measured current, moving average method of instantaneous currents was applied. Also, high frequency switching techniques was used to decrease the ching loss of inverter. By applying double-carrier modulation, the efficiency of the inverter system was improved. The proposed algorithm was verified by experiment using DSP TMS320C33. The experimental results shows that the proposed measuring technique of feedback current has fast-response. This proposed system may be used various applications including on-line type UPS, VVVF inverter, solar cell system and fuel cell.
