In this study, the compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete were evaluated by making 50% and 100% admixture ratio of recycled aggregate and recycled aggregate through nano bubble carbonation modification.

Furnace slag powder used currently in Korea needs to add special functions in response to the increase of large-scale projects. In addition, it is advantageous in that it has a lower hydration heat emission rate than ordinary Portland cement and improves properties such as the inhibition of alkali aggregate reaction, watertightness, salt proofness, seawater resistance and chemical resistance. However, furnace slag powder is not self-hardening, and requires activators such as alkali for hydration. Accordingly, if recycled fine aggregate, from which calcium hydroxide is generated, and furnace slag, which requires alkali stimulation, are used together they play mutually complementary roles, so we expect to use the mixture as a resource-recycling construction material. Thus the present study purposed to examine the properties and characteristics of furnace slag powder and recycled aggregate, to manufacture recycled fine aggregate mortar using furnace slag and analyze its performance based on the results of an experiment, to provide materials on mortar using furnace slag as a cement additive and recycled fine aggregate as a substitute of aggregate, and ultimately to provide basic materials on the manufacturing of resource-recycled construction materials using binder and fine aggregate as recycled resources.

Blast furnace slag doesn't have self-hydraulicity and it needs stimulants such as alkali to hydrate. Therefore using recycled aggregates erupted calcium hydroxides and blast furnace slag acquiring alkali stimulate could make a complementarily use of a recycling architectural material possible. In this study, we have discussed about characters of blast furnace slag and recycled aggregate firstly, and make recycled aggregate mortar and concrete using blast furnace slag for the experiment. The experiment is about mortar and concrete using recycled aggregate as a substitutional material of blast furnace slag. In this experiment, I replace blast furnace slag and aggregate with recycled aggregate. Conclusions through the test results analysis are as follows. And then, we added field experiment using concrete with composited materials.

As a part of efforts for conformity of demand to high quality of concrete and for solution of economic problem, ground granulated blast furnace slag has been utilized by means of cement replacement. With utilization of blast-furnace slag, superior performance can be ensured, environmental pollution can be prevented and economical advantage can be obtained. But blast-furnace slag has a disadvantages like retardation of strength manifestation, etc in the construction field, so properties examination of concrete using blast-furnace slag cement is necessary. So in this study there is a purpose to present a fundamental data to prove possibility of blast-furnace slag cement in construction fields. So this paper will show the data of blast-furnace slag cement that is produced from several company and compare with it.
