Graduate medical education is the most important phase among the three stages of medical education. It links basic medical education and continuing professional development. It is also a critical period in acquiring meaningful knowledge, skills and professionalism. The residents should be able to develop the core common competencies on top of their specialozeds field's expertise, in order to function as independent and qualified physicians. Despite the obvious importance of graduate medical education, the system in Korea has been designed and executed to meet the needs of the hospitals in the perspective of manpower management, rather than to educate and empower the residents. As a result, graduate medical education in Korea lacks clear educational objectives and systemic, resident-centered curriculums. Yet, we have no accreditation body to evaluate graduate medical education programs. In order to normalize graduate medical education, an integrated and unified institution that manages the whole process of the graduate medical education is desperately needed. Special attention should be given to the role of medical schools in educating the core common competencies. The Korean Association of Medical Colleges, the Korean Institute for Medical Education and Evaluation, and the Korean Academy of Medical Sciences should cooperate intimately to establish a new organization for the systemic management and development of graduate medical education.
옥살산과 몰리브덴산나트륨 전해액에서 냉연강판에 전해중합된 폴리아닐린 피막의 특성

Increasing environmental concerns require to solve the problem produced due to the use of heavy metals in coating formulations. Therefore, it is necessary to develop new coating strategy employing inherently conducting polymers such as polyaniline. Polyaniline is a conductive polymer that is synthesized by oxidation polymerization, and the electrochemical and chemical polymerization are possible for the oxidation of aniline. Electrochemical oxidation polymerization produces a fine surface and although voltage control is more convenient, it require electrolytic cells, and elaborate thin film can be acquired with the polymerization. Polyaniline films were electro-polymerized on cold rolled sheets using the galvanostat mode in the oxalic acidaniline-sodium molybdate electrolyte. The structure and properties of polyaniline film were studied using Potentiostat/Galvanostat 263A, FE-SEM,, AFM, SST, Colorimetry. A high corrosion resistance of polyaniline film was observed with an increase of corrosion potential by $500{\sim}600$ mV for the substrate covered with polyaniline.

Anxiety and anxiety disorders are one of the most common and most serious psychiatric problems. Anti-anxiety drugs are one of the most effective treatment method for these problems. Benzodiazepines have various side-effects and the risk of overuse and abuse. Therefore, physicians should prescribe benzodiazepines carefully. However, they should not be discouraged from prescribing benzodiazepines when they have a knowledge of the pharmacological characteristics of these drugs and there is a clear indication for their use. Generally speaking, problems of benzodiazepine use such as dependence withdrawal symptoms, and cognitive impairment are more likely to occur with high dose, long-term use(more than 4 months), in geriatric patients and patients with a history of alcohol or other sustance abuse. But long-term or high-dose use can be jusified for patients with panic disorder of agoraphobia, and medically-ill patients with persistent anxiety that cannot be otherwise treated. In summary, there cannot be a general prescribing formulation for benzodiazepine use. Physician should always make their decision based on the individual patient's risk/benefit factors.

Over the last two decades, microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) of metallic materials has received considerable attention due to its serious effects on industrial field. In this context, it is important to devise control methods which inhibit biofilm formation on various metallic compounds and are compatible with environment. It was change of various conditions (duty cycle, current density, $AgNO_3$ concentration and pH) for injection of Ag particles in anodized Aluminum alloy pore using pulsed current. Optimal condition was obtained by means of FE-SEM, ICP analysis etc. The antibacterial metal's specimen were manufactured under optimal condition and this specimen were tested the antibacterial characterization and anticorrosion characterization. In result of test, we can confirmed that the antibacterial characterization and anticorrosion characterization of the specimens of injected Ag particles in anodized Aluminum alloy pore using pulsed current were better than the anodized Aluminum alloy specimens.

Purpose: This study was performed to identify medical career decisions choosing a medical specialty. Methods: Medical career decisions were influenced by a number of factors which may be grouped into three categories: (1) personal, (2) demographic, and (3) environmental. In pre-medical stage, choice of a medical school was mainly decided by interests and aptitude (34.2%). Social class and economic condition that can be obtained after the graduation was second important determining factor (27.6%). In choosing medical specialty, aptitude was predominant determinant (84.5%) and the influence of other factors were weak. Personal value system and perception of self-capacity had no significant influence. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) was used to measure four dimensions of personality. Results: As a result authors, could find the relationship between the specialty preferences of medical students and interns and their psychological type. The best match was possible for those who favored psychiatry and surgery. Prospective psychiatrists perception were tempered by intuition which means highly theoretical and reflective orientation. They were also introverted and sensitive. Prospective surgeons were more assertive than students with other specialty choice.

The implementation of the PBL curriculum is now a mandate not a choice. However, for the established schools with large numbers of students and insufficient resources, the whole-scale conversion from traditional curriculum to PBL is almost impossible. Various alternative curricula have been introduced to many institutions, but they all have more or less shortcomings that impede the advantages of PBL approach. To solve this dilemma, I proposed a new alternative PBL curriculum, the Triple-phase PBL Curriculum , which is consisted with pre-PBL, PBL, and Post-PBL phase. I also explained its rationale and advantages over other alternatives.
