        4.99톤급 표준어선형 어선의 초기 복원성 평가에 관한 연구

        주로 소형어선에서 발생하고 있는 연근해에서의 전복사고를 예방하기 위해 소형어선의 복원성 평가는 중요하다. 하지만 국내 「어선법」에서는 24m 미만의 소형어선에 대한 복원성 평가 규정이 미비한 실정이다. 2022년 해양수산부에서 안전복지를 강화하여 고시한 표준어선형에 관한 안전성 기준에 따르면, 표준어선형을 따르는 선박은 길이와 무관하게 안전성 기준에 따른 복원성을 가져야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 상기 기준을 활용하여 24m 미만에 해당하는 4.99톤급 어선에 대한 복원성 평가를 수행하고 해당 기준으로 복원성을 평가하는 것이 적합한지 검토하는 것을 목표로 한다. 또한 다양한 상부구조물을 가지는 4.99톤급 소형어선에 대해서도 해당 기준이 유효한지 검토를 수행한다. 이를 위해 어선의 초기횡메타센타높이(GM)를 이용한 초기복원성과 한계경사각에서의 복원정(GZ<sub>α</sub>)을 평가하였다. 그리고 현재 표준어선형의 소형어선에서 주로 활용되는 상부구조물의 형태를 활용하여 대상선과 동일한 하부 선형과 제원을 가지는 소형어선 6종을 추가로 선정하여 상부구조물 변화에 따른 복원성 변화도 검토하였다. 4.99톤급의 표준어선형을 대상으로 한 연구 결과, 안전복지를 강화한 표준어선형에 대한 안전성 기준은 4.99톤급 표준어선형의 어선에도 적용 가능하며, 상부구조물에 변화에 따른 복원성 변화는 크지 않은 것으로 확인되었다. Assessing the stability of small fishing vessels is important to prevent capsize accidents in coastal waters that primarily occur on small fishing vessels. However, the regulations regarding stability assessment for small vessels under 24 m are inadequate according to the domestic Fisheries Act. Based on safety standards issued by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in 2022 to enhance safety and welfare, vessels adhering to the enhanced safety standards for standard ship types are required to establish stability regardless of their length. This study aims to utilize these aforementioned standards to assess the stability of vessels under 24 m, investigating the suitability of applying these criteria to these vessels and examining the impact on various small vessels with different superstructures. Initially, a 4.99-ton fishing vessel designed according to the standard ship type was selected as the subject vessel. Compliance with the standards was evaluated based on the initial stability of the vessel using the transverse metacentric height (GM) and transverse restoring moment arm at the limit angle (GZ<sub>α</sub>). Additionally, six types of small vessels with identical hull forms and specifications to the subject vessel were further examined using prevalent superstructure designs in small fishing vessels. The stability of the subject small vessel was also assessed. A study of a 4.99-ton standard fishing vessel confirmed that the safety standards for standard fishing vessels with enhanced safety welfare were applicable to small fishing vessels under 4.99-ton class and that the stability of small fishing vessels with superstructure modifications was not significantly changed.

        감태 추출물의 항산화 활성에 미치는 열 안정성

        Temperature is a major factor that affects the physiochemical properties of compounds. This study focus on the determination of thermostability and the effect of temperature on antioxidant activities of Ecklonia cava (E. cava) ethanoic extract. The ethanoic extracts of E. cava were evaluated at 30˚C, 60˚C and 90˚C for 0 to 7 days. The antioxidant activities were determined by DPPH, hydroxyl radical and hydrogen peroxide scavenging activities. The intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging activity was investigated using DCFH-DA assay. Results revealed that the ethanoic extract of E. cava incubated at different temperatures for 0 to 7 days, showed stable scavenging activities on DPPH, hydroxyl radical and hydrogen peroxide. The ROS scavenging activities of ethanoic extract and ascorbic acid were also investigated. The extract showed a stable ROS scavenging activity from 0 to 7 day at 90˚C. However, the scavenging activity of ascorbic acid at 90˚C decreased starting from day 3. These results indicated that the antioxidant effects of this food grade ethanoic extract of E. cava could remain stable during the employed temperatures of food processing.

        The purpose of this study is to restore ‘Hwacha by Byeon Eejung’ in Chosun dynasty. Hwacha was used mainly on the Battle of Haengju of Japanese Invasion of Chosun, but none of the drawing or description is left except the design of Hwacha on Mangamjip. So this research aims to restore of Hwacha as an object. In this research, researchers came up with the changeable-hinge model by scientific and historic demonstrations. In the scientific demonstrations, researchers suggest black gunpowder, torque, and scattershot, in the historic demonstrations they suggest design of Hwacha, topography, and a battle array. The result of this study presents the conclusion that Hwacha used in the Japanese Invasion was changeable with hinges. Researchers also finished designing the model in 3D and made it into real mockup miniature.
