Bromobenzene에 依하여 損傷된 白鼠肝에 있어서의 Orotic-Acid-6-C^14 結合率에 對한 實驗的硏究

Many authors reported that central necrosis in the hepatic lobule occurs in the rat liver after bromobenzene(hepato-toxic substance) administration, but no fatty degeneration is accompanied. The influence of the bromobenzene upon the RHA metabolism which is closely connected with protein synthesis is, however, obscure. In this experiment the incorporation rate of radioactive orotic acid into RNA after bromobenzene administration is studied. Seventy six adult female rats were divided into two major groups; bromobenzene treated and control groups. Orotic acid-6-C^(l4) was infected intravenously into each subject, then sacrified within scheduled duration. Subcellular fractions of the liver were obtained and sepecific activity of RNA per ㎎. in each subcellular fractions was obtained. The results of obtained were as follows: 1. Incorporation rate into p-RNA is remarkably decreased in the nuclear fraction during 30 and 60 minutes after radioactive orotic acid injection, while incorporation rate into r-RNA is increased definitely 60 minutes after injection of the orotic acid in the bromobenzene teated group compared with control. 2. In the mitochondrial fraction, incorporation rate of radioactive orotic acid into p-RNA and r-RNA revealed highly specific activity 15, 30 and 60 minutes after orotic acid injection in the bromobenzene treated gloup. 3. Incorporation rate of radioactive orotic acid into p-RNA in the microsomal fraction showed significant differences after orotic acid injection between treated ana control group. But incorporation rate into r-RNA stowed increased specific activity 30 and 60 minutes after orotic acid injection in the bromobenzene-treated group, compared with control. 4. Incorporation rate of radioactive orotic acid into p-RNA showed continuously decreasing specific activity 15, 30 and 60 minutes after orotic acid infection in cell-sap fraction of the bromobenzene teated group; also that of r-RNA was decreased 15 and 30 minutes after the injection.

A case of the intradermal mixed tumor of upper lip is reported with a brief review off literature, especially for its frequency, location, and histological classification. The tumor reveals basal cell type of mixed tumor and is considered to be sweat gland origin.
