        화면내 부호화를 위한 예측특징 분석

        In H.264 coding system, the intra prediction method which uses neighbor pixels from current picture has been used for improvement of coding efficiency, but operation amount will increase because of using a large number of intra prediction modes. In this paper, we investigate the usage distribution of intra prediction modes between scene change detections, depended on the picture period of intra-coded picture and the coded picture characteristics. As to first I-picture, all 9 prediction modes will be applied, and then the prediction modes which is distributed less than 7% will be skipped in intra prediction coding system. According to this analysis, if it is assumed no scene change detection, we suggest the method of simplification for the intra prediction. From simulation results, we can see that minimum 33% and maximum 66% reductions of complexity for intra prediction is possible by using the simplification of intra prediction mode and the selection of picture period without significant loss of picture quality. H.264의 동영상 부호화에서는 화면내 부호화되는 화면의 부호화 성능을 개선시키기 위하여 현재 화면을 매크로 블록으로 나누어 이웃한 화소들을 이용하는 화면내 예측부호화(intra prediction) 기법을 사용하고 있다. 그러나 H.264는 화면내 예측부호화에서 다수 개의 예측부호화 모드가 사용됨으로써 연산량이 증가하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 영상별로 장면전환후의 최초 I-화면에 대해서만 전체 예측모드를 적용하여 예측부호화 모드의 사용빈도를 분석하고 이후 화면에는 사용빈도가 작은 모드를 생략하는 예측모드의 간소화방안을 제안한다. 실험결과로부터 영상형태별 움직임벡터의 변화 또는 장면전환이 발생하지 않은 시점 또는 구간에서는 화질의 변동이 미미한 상태에서 부호화 과정의 적절한 화면내 부호화되는 화면거리(intra-period : I-화면거리)의 선택과 예측모드의 간소화(생략)로 인해 최소 33%, 최대 66%까지 화면내 부호화 과정에서 적용되는 예측모드의 간소화 또는 생략이 가능함을 알 수 있다.

        순창 전통고추장의 발효 특성과 in vitro 항돌연변이 및 항암효과

        Soonchang traditional kochujangs (shickhae, bab and deuk) were prepared with different kinds of manufacturing methods. To investigate fermentative characteristics of the traditional kochujangs, pH, acidity, amino-type nitrogen content and ammonia-type nitrogen content were determined during 10 month period. Shickhae kochujang fermented faster than the bab- and deuk-kochujang. Antimutagenic effects of the kochujangs were studied against aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) and N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) in Salmonella typhimurium TA100. Anticancer effects of the kochujangs were studied by inhibitory effect on the growth of AGS human gastric adenocarcinoma cells and HT-29 human colon cancer cells in MTT assay. Soonchang traditional kochujangs resulted in antimutagenic and anticancer effects. At a concentration of 2.5 mg/plate, shickhae-kochujang fermented for 4 months (61%) showed, especially, the highest antimutagenic activity against MNNG comparing to bab-kochujang (31%) and deuk-kochujang (41%) (p<0.05). Shickhae-kochujang also led to the similar results of anticancer effects in both AGS cells and HT-29 cells to the results of the antimutagenic effects. Shickhae kochujang showed the highest chemopreventive effect compared to other kochujangs of bab and deuk. These results suggest that the fermentation level and different preparation methods of the kochujang were related with antimutagenic and anticancer activity.

        Effect of pelvic drain displacement on anastomotic leakage-related morbidity after rectal cancer surgery

        Purpose: Drain insertion after proctectomy is common in clinical practice, although the effectiveness of drains has been questioned. However, drains are commonly displaced after surgery. We hypothesized that drain displacement is associated with clinical outcomes and aimed to assess differences in clinical outcomes, such as overall morbidity, including anastomotic leakage (AL), reintervention rates, length of hospital stay, and mortality rates, between patients who experienced displaced drains and those who did not. Methods: Rectal cancer patients who underwent proctectomy at a single institution between January 2015 and December 2020 were retrospectively reviewed. Clinical characteristics were compared between patients who experienced displaced drains and those who did not. The primary endpoint was the occurrence of reintervention in patients with AL. The secondary endpoints were overall morbidity rates, AL rates, length of hospital stay, and mortality within 30 days. Results: Among 248 patients who underwent proctectomy, 93 (37.5%) experienced displaced drains. A higher proportion of patients who experienced displaced drains required reintervention due to AL than those who did not experience displaced drains (odds ratio, 3.61; 95% confidential interval, 1.20–10.93; p = 0.016). However, no significant difference was found in the overall morbidity rate, mortality, and length of hospital stay between the groups. Conclusion: Drain displacement does not worsen outcomes such as overall morbidity rate, mortality, and length of hospital stay after proctectomy but is associated with an increase in the need for reintervention in patients with AL.

        Korean intonation has been investigated mainly from the point of view of impressionistic phonetics and phonology. The purpose of this paper is to investigate Korean intonation especially nuclear tones, from the point of view of experimental phonetics. Since what we hear is not always the always as what we see in fundamental frequency contours, acoustic characteristics of Korean nuclear times are first discussed Based m quantitative data similar nuclear times are compared and the relationship between the nuclear ton and sentence type is investigated The relationship between the nuclear tone and the speaker's attitude is also discussed.

        정치마케팅에 관한 주관성 유형화 연구

        This study is researched by practical use in a subjectivity study accessible in-depth and an essential meaning in getting out of outgrowing functional quantity analysis about ‘Political Marketing’. The perception type of this study were divided into four types in all through Q-methodology. Above all, this study is to investigate two points us. Points of this study ; First, how the type of the perception is divided on the subjectivity about Political Marketing? Second, what is a trait of character in same or different quality within these types? The result reveal four types, which divided ‘Professional Participation- preference Type(n=12)’, ‘Personal Visual Type(n=12)’, ‘Style-focus Trust Type(n=4)’, ‘Image Management Type(n=4)’. It found that is very different type all over. In the future, the purpose of this study is to ascertain acceptance behavior about Political Marketing, 21th ; to offer a suggestion about that. 이 논문은 정치마케팅에 대하여 이미 사용되어 온 기능적 수량분석에서 한 걸음 나아가 보다 심층적이고 본질적인 의미에 접근할 수 있는 질적 분석방법의 하나가 되는 주관성연구방법을 활용하여 연구하였다. 총 4가지의 유형으로 분류되었는데, 제 1유형은 “전문가 참여선호형(Professional Participation-preference Type ; N=12)”, 제 2유형은 “개성적 비쥬얼형(Personal Visual Type ; N=12)”, 제 3유형은 “스타일 중심 신뢰형(Style-focus Trust Type ; N=4)”, 제 4유형은 “이미지 관리형(Image Management Type ; N=4)”으로서, 각 유형마다 독특한 특징이 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 이 논의를 통해서 볼 때, 정치마케팅이 지금까지 구태의연한 방법으로 일관해 온 정치권에서의 모습에 대해서 일반대중들은 다양한 활용성과 참여성에 더 깊이 인지하는 것으로 조사되었다. 특히, 유형별 분석에서 대부분의 응답대상자들은 현재의 정치문화와 마케팅에 대해서 4가지 유형(다양한 접근)에 관심을 갖고 있는 것으로 파악되었다.

      • Fabrication of Large Area Vertical Array BiVO₄/WO₃ Nanorods through Nanoimprint Lithography and Coupling Au Nanoparticles for Efficient Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting

        Photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting is a promising method of converting solar energy to chemical energy. Recently, research to improve the efficiency and stability of large-area photoelectrodes has attracted attention. Tungsten trioxide (WO₃) has excellent charge transport properties and bismuth vanadate (BiVO₄) has a narrow optical band gap and a band edge position suitable for water oxidation. In order to improve PEC performance, BiVO₄ and WO₃ are used as a heterojunction. In particular, BiVO₄/WO₃ nanorods overcome limitation of the short carrier diffusion length of BiVO₄ by using a one-dimensional nanostructure. In addition, it has been proven that the plasmonic effect generated by the introduction of gold nanoparticles (AuNP) promotes PEC performance. Many studies including above research have been reported to improve the efficiency of photoelectrodes. However, studies on small area photoelectrode still mainly conducted, thus a study on large area photoelectrode is required. In this study, large-area vertical array BiVO₄/WO₃ nanorods through nanoimprint lithography were uniformly and easily fabricated. Periodically aligned BiVO₄/WO₃ nanorods exhibited better PEC performance than randomly grown nanorods and planar films owing to increased light absorption and charge separation. The introduction of the AuNPs further enhanced the PEC performance by synergizing with periodically aligned BiVO₄/WO₃ nanorods.
