Applying a variable thickness insulation material dash isolation Pad. Pu spray applied insulation thickness variable structure is a study about the dash isolation pad. While reducing the total area thick insulation material was applied to the area to reinforce the part thickness. Reinforced sound insulation performance weakened only a dash portion and to reduce the insensitive part by weight.

A manufacturing process for applying spray-type poly-urethane material is developed for dash isolation pad’s heavy layer. With the manufacturing process, thickness of heavy layer of dash isolation pad could be varied locally. In this study, the sound insulation performance of the material had been studied in the material level. The weak areas of engine-noise transmission were found experimentally for a target vehicle. By increasing heavy layer’s thickness at the noise-transmission weak areas and decreasing the thickness at the non-weak areas, the noise-transmission was refined and the total weight was also reduced. It is expected that the developed material and manufacturing process could contribute to weight and cost reduction of sound packages.

This is study of Development of multi-purpose rail system and mechanism applied to luggage rooms. Through those things, attractively appeal to especially SUV owners who would like to drive and purchase cars. In this study, we developed a novel storage mechanism that can lead new trends to appeal to consumer purchasing power of usability of luggage room. In terms of technology, we also secured source technologies that enable consumers to utilize various types of rugged spaces, and expanded the range of choices by creating specialized specifications that can appeal more to SUV purchasing power.
