        Humans are the animal that walks upright and think at the same time. However, civilized humans stop walking and thinking for a reason of work-focused, busy daily life, and the use of developed transportation. Therefore, many different fields such as environment, cities, and architecture are emphasizing on walking activity for people"s physical and mental health. Changes in urban space such as the making of proper walking street environment, Han river park development, and Cheonggye stream development are being undergone in Seoul, the most populated city in South Korea, which aims to promote urban people"s mental, physical health by increasing their footsteps, and ultimately improve the quality of life. In particular, the importance of urban green space is being emphasized as it serves as a place for taking a rest and introspection, so research on tangible and intangible services including physical factors provided in the space and walkers" walking patterns is actively being conducted. Taking a walk is an important behavior that has a philosophical, social meaning in that it takes some time for introspection and communicates with surrounding environment. For this, one of the most essential and important factors out of the physical factors provided is a road, which is a trail. A trail offers information such as its shape, color, and material to walkers. Out of them, the material is an important part related to safety, psychology, and environment. However, there is much to be desired for research on texture, and research on the correlation between texture and walkers" perception of it. This research herein aims to focus on the effect of what walkers perceive about material texture of trail in a visual, tactile manner on walking, and investigate analysis methods on whether or not there is change in walking speed. Furthermore, it has signification in establishing the correlation and ultimately providing physical factors appropriate for the purpose and the usage of urban walking space.

      • 전통적 요소를 반영한 커피전문점 매장의 공간마케팅 사례연구

        For the last few years, brand coffee house shops show a rapid growth. Brand coffee house needs differentiation like using marketing strategies that not only provide the coffee commodity but also could generate customers" interests and experiences, and consequently, it becomes important to secure its brand identity. One of the ways to secure brand identity is space marketing. In case of Starbucks, brand coffee house, they are famous to show outstanding marketing and establish spatial marketing strategy well. Globally, they try space production which shows the identity of each country and they have differentiation from other brands by reflecting traditional Korean design elements. Commercial spaces reflecting traditional elements and cultural characteristics are very effective to create country"s image and transfer the identity of the country. Through the cases of Starbucks which produce the identity of Korea, this study was conducted to identify their marketing strategies with SWOT analysis and how they showed Korean Identity by expressing traditional elements in each shop at modern space and how they appealed to the customers. Additionally, this study had an objective to identify Korean Identity which is expressed in commercial spaces by classifying the elements with the aspects of tradition and Korean Identity. Strategies were established that Starbucks should provide the sensitive space which could give the experiences and values of the country, and develop space design which could differentiate against competitors, and utilize as new space of experiences to the customers by emphasizing the scarcity instead of low accessibility. And, the conclusion has been reached that image of Starbucks should be maintained but color design elements should be partially compensated in the respect that Korean traditional colors were not used. Regarding the analysis about traditional design elements, there was most space production using original form reproducing method in metropolitan area shops and in cases of Gyeongju and Mungyeongsaejae shops, traditional Korean elements were used in the design with the original form modifying, reinterpretation and abstract techniques reflecting the historicity and regionality in those areas even though there were very few abstract design elements.

        The higher the addition rate, the less difference in kneading was found., This is because most of the cases are mixed with vinyl gloves by hand when immediately mixed in the field, so there is no problem of mixing dough according to the amount of addition.,The mean increase temperature for 20 minutes was 31.6℃ for Plain, 38.1℃ for Al, 33.7℃ for Cu, and 5~7℃ for Al 20% added sample, 38.1℃ for Al 20% added sample, but 36.6℃ for Al 5% added sample.,This suggests that it is possible to improve its own heat transferability by adding metal powder to epoxy adhesives.
