        On the Size Effect for Micro-Scale Structures Under the Plane Bulge Test Using the Modified Strain Gradient Theory

        A modified strain gradient theory is proposed based on the nonhomogeneity of polycrystalline metallic materials. Geometrically necessary dislocations are generated on the slip planes as well as on the grain boundary to accommodate deformation with minimum internal stress. Since amount of the geometrically necessary dislocation depends on the deformation shape, specimen size and grain size, it is an important factor for the modified strain gradient theory and the size effect. This new theory differs from the mechanism based strain gradient plasticity in its consideration of the geometrically necessary dislocations on the grain boundary and free surface effect. This theory provides a possible explanation for conflicting size effect: the smaller can be either harder or softer due to the deformation. Using the proposed theory, analysis of the effect of both specimen and grain size under the plane bulge test of polycrystalline materials is performed.

        The purpose of this study is to secure stabilization of industrial relations, to prevent and settle labour disputes so as to bring about and maintain peace in industrial society, and thus to facilitate development of national economy. The first part of this study was designed to analyze briefly character of industrial relation and aspect of labour disputes that took place since the period from 1920 under the peculiar conditions of colonial domination of the country by Japan up to date in beginning of 1980. In the last part, it made also some countermeasures to the labour policy to solve labour disputes and to set up cooperation system of industrial society in korea. There were many labour disputes to reject foreign capital and resist Japanese Imperialists during the period of domination of the country by Japan. Labour movement was forcibly suppressed by the Japanese Imperialists and wage-deduction owing to depression, overtime employment, discriminatory treatment of korean workers often cause collective disputes. after 1945, the communist-led trade union (CHUN PAENG) went on general strkes on march and september for political and economic confusion, but free democratic trade union (FKTU) challenged the leftist and positively protected wokers and industries. In 1960's, the nation's political and social environment changed sharply, ruslting increasing control on the economic function of trade unions, wokers are restricted in their two of fundamental rights. Even though the right of collective bargaining and collective action have been limited, The annual number of labor disputes statistically is increacing. There are many causes that a considerable number of workers still are plagued by low wages, long working hours and poor welfare facilities, and also there is no systematic cooperation and effective procedures of settlement of labor disputes. Consequently, the trade union function has become one of submitting pettions and recommedations without effective means to support its views. Despite union membership continues to grow, cohesiveness and independence seems to be increasingly lacking. It becomes more difficult for the unions to forge a strong link and to demand, with hope of success, better wages or improved working conditions. In crder to prevent conflict between the parties of labour relations, it is basic conditions to ensure a balance of power among the factors of industrial relations and to improve labor-management Cooperation system, and thus to facilitate the development of national economy. In the view of growing government influence on labour-management relations, and impending implementation of various economic and social security policies, the labor economic policy should be changed improving the structure of income distribution and social welfare system, administration of labour affairs should be strengthened as a Ministry from government agency dealing with labour matters. In respect to the cooperation system between labor and management, it is nacessary to enact special law of labour-management councils Just as joint Consultations system from the article 6 of labour union law and the minimum wage law for elimination of the lowest wages fields. It is anticipated that labour disputes will increase in the future in pace with econmic growth and such disputes are inimical to the interests of all parties of industrial relation: employees, employers, government and society itself. With changes in the political system of korea in 1980, a new phase in industrial relations should be started from a long-range point of view instead of short-sighted policy for new developments in industrial relations.

      • 개체 - 관계 모델링에서 1원 관계성들의 시멘틱 역할 분석

        ER 모델에서, 계층화 구조를 제공하는 1원 관계성은 현실세계를 묘사하는 데이타베이스 설계에 중요한 정보를 제공한다. 이런 관계성 유형들은 자료 전달 경로가 발생하는 계층 종속성이 내재되어 있어, 데이타베이스 설계에 종종 사용하기에 용이하지 않다. 1원 관계성의 역할을 분석하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 서로 독립적인 속성을 갖는 카테고리의 참여 및 구성원 제약조건을 이용하여 개체 유형을 4종류 (PPDE, TPDE, PPOE, TPOE)로 정의하고, 각각의 관계성 유형에서 표현 가능한 개체 유형의 속성과 구조 형태들을 분석한다. 1원 관계성의 역할에 대한 분류 및 정의를 통해서, 일어날 수 있는 데이타베이스 설계의 잘못을 식별하고, 올바른 시멘틱을 갖는 데이타베이스 설계를 행할 수 있게 될 것이다.

      • I - CASE 환경을 위한 IRDS 데이타 모델 설계

        소프트웨어 개발의 생산성 및 품질을 증진시키기 위해 소프트웨어 공학 환경(Software Engineering Environment, SEE)을 지원하는 시스템이 필요하다. 현재 SEE는 CASE 도구들과 정보저장소를 통합하여 통합 CASE 도구 환경으로서의 특징을 갖고 있다. 그 정보저장소는 서술되는 모든 정보를 단일화된 형태로 제공함으로써 통합 CASE 도구 환경의 가장 중요한 부분이다. 본 논문은 도구 통합의 데이타 통합(Data Integration) 측면에서 프로세스 방법론 모델 및 데이타 방법론 모델들을 정보 정의, 정보 통합, 정보 교환, 그리고 도구 통합을 위한 통합 CASE 메타 모델을 제안한다. 그 방법론들의 통합 모델에 의해서, 통합 CASE 도구 환경에서 필요로 하는 각종 방법론들의 정보 저장, 정보 공유, 정보 교환, 정보 관리, 그리고 도구 통합을 제공할 수 있는 IRDS(Information Resource Dictionary System)의 데이타 모델을 정의한다.

        인구변동(人口變動)과 복지적(福祉的) 과제(課題)

        We would affirm that modernization of society is necessarily accompanied by population changes, and at the other hand, the countermeasures to the anticipated problems caused by the population changes have to be taken. Efforts for the control of population growth made during the last 20 years are expected to maintain a stable population in future, and we hope these changes will be attained within the earlier period. Now is the moment that we cannot limit our concern to the population growth control, rather we have to consider the social welfare task in the aspect of population stability. It is not because population changes set limits to artificial control, but because the order of population changes presents a desirable sign for low fertility, and further important thing is, we have to pay attention to how to make human beings already born as well as to be born in future enjoy their quality of life. Needless to say, socio-economic stability requires economic stabilization to meet basic essential needs. However supposing this. social welfare tasks shall be different in their pattern depending upon population changes. In other words, since quantitative growth of population has a close relationship with social. economic and environmental conditions and cause increase of basic demands for human survival or deterioration of life environment, a stable population shall be quickly attained. Changes in population structure, along with the quantitative growth of population make changes in patterns of social welfare demands. While the pyramid type of population structure becomes changed to the bell or pot type of population structure, changes in education and employment as well as changes in problems of the aged and medical demands must be made. On the other hand, population changes accompany the value changes in the process of modernization of society. This multiple social changes bring about a value of individualism and a nuclear family norm, and a enlargement of women`s social participation which, in turn, cause the in- and out-family problems. At the same time, social deviator and failures must be increased in the industrial society, and thus, countermeasures in the aspect of welfare have to be taken. In this respect, the base of social welfare for meeting basic demands have to be formed not in the past narrow sense, but in the long- range and multi-sided aspects.
