Purpose: The aim of this study was to report the patient s opinion of the presence of medical students in ambulatory care, and to find out which factors were related with the outpatient s feelings and opinion. Methods: The study subjects were 187 outpatients attended at three medical college hospitals in Busan. The subjects completed self-reported questionnaires about the patients opinion of the presence of medical students in ambulatory care. These data were analyzed chi-square test. Results: Among 187 people, 100 (53.4%) respondents answered with ‘agree , 65 (34.8%) were ‘no idea , and 22 (11.8%) were ‘disagree about the presence of medical students in ambulatory care. The patient s age, sex, educational level, and monthly income were not related significantly with the patient s opinion of the presence of medical students in ambulatory care. The factors related to subject s opinion were previous experience of medical students inspection (p<0.05), comfortableness of talking to doctor with medical students (p<0.001), and previous recognizing the medical educational function of the medical college hospital (p<0.005). Conclusion: Most outpatients have positive opinion for the presence of medical students in ambulatory care. But, because some outpatients have negative opinion toward the presence of medical students in ambulatory care, we need systemic consideration about them.

This study has the purpose of investigating general interpersonal relations disposition of visually impaired students and uncovering some differences ininterpersonal relations disposition, depending on characteristics of visually impaired students such as gender, degree of visual impairments, onset of visual impairments and type of residence. The subjects of this study are 121 of visually impaired middle-school and high-school students in 5 different schools. As a means of measuring interpersonal relations disposition for the visually impaired students, this study has used the Interpersonal Relations Disposition Test that was produced by An, Bum-hee in 1985. The statistical processing of all the collected data through the question is electronically disposed by SPSS Windows(version 10.0) Program. The results are as follows : First, visually impaired students tend to have sympathetic/acceptable disposition, which is the strongest, then independent/responsible disposition, competitive/aggressive disposition, sociable/friendly disposition, exhibitive/narcissistic disposition, rebellious/distrustful disposition and dominant/ascendant disposition. The last disposition seems to be the weakest among them. Second, when the variable is the gender, the female visually impaired students appeared to have a higher sympathetic/acceptable inclination than the male. Third, when the variable is the degree of visual impairments, the students with blind appeared to have a higher competitive/aggressive and rebellious/distrustful inclination than the students with low vision. Also, the students with low vision appeared to have a higher sociable/friendly inclination than the students with blind. Fourth, when the variable is the onset of visual impairments, the advantageous visually impaired students appeared to have a higher dominant/ascendent, independent/responsible and sympathetic/acceptable inclination than the congenital visually impaired students. Fifth, when the variable is the type of residence, the students living in a dormitory appears to have a higher independent/responsible inclination than those who live at home. And the students who live at home appeared to have a higher dominant/ascendant and rebellious/distrustful inclination than the students living in a dormitory.
교원능력개발평가가 시각장애학교 교사의 전문성 신장에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 2010년도부터 교육부에서 교사의 전문성 향상을 위해 시행하고 있는 교원능력 개발평가가 시각장애학교 교사의 전문성 신장에 미치는 영향을 조사 분석하여 보다 효율적인 실행을 위한 기초자료 제공을 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 전국 시각장애학교에 재직 중인교사 201명을 대상으로 16문항의 설문지를 통해 도출된 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교원능력개발평가에 대한 시각장애학교 교사의 전반적인 전문성의 인식은 보통수준이며, 5개 하위요인 중 사회생활지도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 교사의 배경변인별로는 교사 전문성의 5개 하위요인인, 수업준비, 수업실행, 수업평가 및 활용, 개인생활지도, 사회생활지도 등, 모든 요인에서 정안인 교사가 시각장애인 교사보다 더 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 교사 전문성의 하위요인 간에는 수업실행과 개인생활지도가 수업평가 및 활용에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 중심으로 후속적인 연구에 필요한 사항을 제시하였다. This study surveyed and analyzed effects of 「teacher competency evaluation」 (carried out by the Ministry of Education since 2010) on the professional development of teachers working at schools for the visually impaired to provide basic material for making its implementation more efficient. 201 teachers working at schools for the visually impaired throughout the nation answered a questionnaire of 16 items and the result is as follows. First, regarding 「teacher competency evaluation」, the teachers working at schools for the visually impaired showed an average level of overall perception on the teacher professionalism and among the five sub factors, 「guidance for social life」revealed the highest level. Second, by teacher background variable, teachers with no visual impairment indicated higher level than those with visual impairment in all five sub factors of teacher professionalism - 「teaching preparation」, 「teaching practice」, 「teaching appraisal and application」, 「guidance for individual life」 and 「guidance for social life」. Third, among the sub factors of teacher professionalism, it was demonstrated that 「teaching practice」and 「guidance for individual life」had positive effect on 「teaching appraisal and application」. Based on the result of the study, what is necessary for the succeeding researches is as follows.
