This paper considers the H∞ control problem for networked control systems(NCSs). In order to solve the problem which comes from discontinuous control signal in NCSs, an approach that discontinuous control signals treat time-varying delayed continuous signals is applied to achieve H∞ stability of NCSs. In addition, randomly occurring packet losses and disturbances are considered by introducing stochastic variables with Bernoulli distribution. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a new stability condition is obtained via linear matrix inequality formulation to find the H∞ controller which achieves the mean square stability of NCSs. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a numerical example in order to show the effectiveness of our results.

This paper considers the synchronization problem of chaotic systems. For this problem, the sampled-data control approach is used to achieve asymptotic synchronization of two identical chaotic systems. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a new stability condition is obtained via linear matrix inequality formulation to find the sampled-data feedback controller which achieves the synchronization between chaotic systems. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a numerical example in order to show the effectiveness of our results.

This paper considers synchronization problem of a complex dynamical network. For the problem, the virtual target node is chosen as one of nodes in the complex network and only one connection is needed between an isolate target node and virtual target node not any more connections. Moreover, our synchronization scheme does not need additional conditions and information of coupling matrix comparing with existing works. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a design criterion for a novel adaptive feedback controller for the synchronization between the isolate target node and another nodes of the complex network is proposed. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a numerical example in order to show the effectiveness of our results.

디지털 하드웨어와 통신기술의 발달로 인하여 대부분의 제어시스템이 연속신호와 이산신호가 공존하는 하이브리드 시스템으로 변모하고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 하이브리드 시스템의 대표적인 제어기법인 샘플치 제어시스템에 대한 이해와 최신 연구동향에 대하여 소개하고자 한다. Because of the rapid growth of the digital hardware and communication technologies, most systems have been becoming a hybrid system which contains both continuous-time and discrete-time signals simultaneously. In this article, some background and recent research trends of a sampled-data control system which is a representative control method for the hybrid systems are introduced.

Optimization techniques to find a path of an inner reinforcement of pannel structure is proposed by using design sensitivity informations. The strength and modal characteristics of the panel structure are analyzed and their initial design sensitivity analyses with respect to the thickness are carried out by MSC/Nastran. Based on the initial design sensitivity analyses, possibilitis to choose design variables and response functions are discussed. Design improvement techniques from design sensitivity coefficients are suggested and the double-layer method is newly proposed to optimize the path of stiffener for a hood. Using the suggested methods. we redesign a new inner reinforcement of the hood and compare the responses with the original design. It could be confirmed that new design is improved in the responses without the weight increasement.<br/>
