Since LPG has a higher octane number and a lower maximum combustion temperature than gasoline, it is getting more popular for reducing emissions from the vehicle. This paper, when an LPG engine works in the range of idle, analyzed the operating range preciously and provides reducing method of emissions for the LPG engine. An electronic control unit(ECU) for the LPG engine using a feedback mixer is presented. The ECU is built by using a microcontroller MC68HC05. A PI-controller is implemented in the ECU in order to handle Air-Fuel ratio control. The experimental results exhibit that the required engine performance are satisfied at idle.

This paper is mainly concerned with the development of the ATO(Automatic Train Operation) profile on precision stop controller. The ATO system is used for automatic or driverless operation of a train. In this paper, the algorithm for ATO controller is presented and three speed profiles on precision stop controller are compared. One profile is based on the maximum jerk control, another on the constant control input, and the third on the optimal control for the minimum energy consumption. These profiles are simulated and analyzed in view of the stop time, control input, jerk, propulsion and braking.

In this paper, the implementation of a message scenario test method for a CAN-based wiring system using a TINI of Dallas semiconductor and Java is presented. The scenario test method is sending and monitoring the CAN messages according to the pre-determined message definition sequence. The implementation consists of an interfacing TINI board and a testing terminal PC that programmed with a Java environment. An experiment has been performed with a CAN-based wiring system for a Hyundai motor company's passenger car XG which was developed for testing. The experimental results show the feasibility of the implementation of the test method.

In this paper, the structure of an algorithm of a network node for a CAN (Controller Area Network)-based wiring system is studied. The algorithms with polling or interrupt driven handling are compared. A common structure of algorithm for the network nodes software is proposed. A CAN-based wiring system for a Hyundai motor company's passenger car XG has been developed using the proposed method. The experimental results show the feasibility of the implementation of the method.
