We developed SAW gas sensor for monitoring SOx gas with high sensitivity. It was fabricated as a microsensor for detecting SOx gas by depositing sensing material on SAW device. As a detecting layer material, CdS was selected. Deposition of CdS in the form of thin films was carried out by the ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method using ultrasonic spray nozzle. Thin films with the uniform and large surface area for sensors were deposited. The stable pyrolysis environment provided by uniform and fine droplets formed by spray nozzle made it possble to obtain thin films with excellent quality. The minimum grain size of the CdS thin films was about 50 nm when deposited at 300℃. SAW gas sensors showed reasonable sensitivity and reproducibility. Further studies are required to investigate the interference of other gases to SOx gas detection.

The KHST vehicle, with the maximum speed of 350㎞/h, is being developed under the G7 national R&D project and we investigate the performance test procedure of the vehicle considering the safety plan. First, important issues in the safety plan for the KTX vehicle are reviewed and then they are reflected in the test procedure for the KHST vehicle.

Over the past few decades of supersonic combustor ramjet (scramjet) development, one of the most prominent design challenges was to retain a steady combustion when faced against a supersonic freestream. To attain such state, it is of critical importance to ensure efficient fuel-air mixing within a very short time interval, while simultaneously keeping total (stagnation) pressure loss at a minimum. In this paper, after validating the accuracy of the solver via replication of previously conducted research, a numerical analysis will be directed on three different configurations of closed scramjet combustors (flat wall, cavity, strut), with a brief discussion on properties of each case in relation to mixing efficiency and total pressure loss. The comparison is intended to serve as a future reference for those aiming to fabricate a supersonic combustor integrated within a scramjet system.

액체로켓엔진 터보펌프 하이브리드 스러스트 베어링의 상사 매질을 이용한 비회전 정하중 특성 측정

본 연구에서는 액체로켓엔진 터보펌프용 하이브리드 스러스트 베어링의 비회전 정하중 특성에 대한 실험적 연구를 진행하였다. 베어링의 윤활을 위한 작동 유체로 공기와 물을 사용하였으며, 물의 온도를 27℃-55℃까지 변화시켰다. 실험 결과, 작동 유체의 공급 압력이 증가할수록 베어링의 축방향의 강성, 간극 및 유량이 증가하였다. 동일 압력조건에서 27℃ 공기보다 27℃ 물을 공급하는 것이 강성 및 간극이 더 높게 측정되었으며, 베어링과 디스크 사이의 틸팅이 감소하였다. 또한, 점성이 낮은 55℃의 물이 27℃의 물을 공급하였을 경우보다 동일 압력 조건에서 축방향 강성이 낮게 측정되었다. The current work presents the test results of non-rotating static load characteristics of hybrid thrust bearings for liquid rocket engine turbopumps. The test bearing uses air and water as a working fluid. The test results show that as the supply pressure increases, the clearance and flow rate of the bearing, as well as the identified axial stiffness increase. The effect of fluid temperature on the bearing stiffnesses, clearances, and disk tilting angles are discussed.
Fuzzy DEMATEL 방법을 활용한 건설산업 노동생산성 영향요인 구조분석

Improving productivity in industries is a very critical issue, and improving labor productivity is especially important in construction industry, which is a labor-intensive industry. However, researches on labor productivity in construction industry are insufficient, and most of previous studies have limitations in terms of specificity and logic. In this study, fuzzy DEMATEL method was used to structural analyze of influence factors for labor productivity in construction industry based on previous researches and expert survey. The result of this study contributes to deriving priorities for improving labor productivity.
