Calcareous deposits are the consequence of pH increase of the electrolyte adjacent to metal surface affected by cathodic current in seawater. It obviously has several advantages over conventional coatings, since the calcareous deposit coating is formed from coating (Mg²?, Ca²?) naturally existing in seawater. In consideration of this respect, environment friendly calcareous deposit films were formed by an electro deposition technique on steel substrates submerged in 48℃ natural seawater. And the influence of current density, coating time and attachment of steel mesh on composition ratio, structure and morphology of the electrodeposited films were investigated by Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS) and X-Ray Diffractor(XRD), respectively. Accordingly, this study provides a better understanding of the composition between the growth of Mg(OH)₂ and CaCO₃ during the formation of electro deposit films on steel substrate under cathodically electrodeposition in 48℃ natural seawater. The Mg compositions, in general, are getting decreased regardless of current density but Ca compositions are getting increased as electrodeposition time runs. That is, Mg(OH)₂ compounds of brucite structure shaped as flat type is formed at the initial stage of electrodeposition, but CaCO₃, compounds of aragonite structure shaped as flower type is formed in large scale. Besides, Mg(OH)₂ compounds were much formed at 5 A/㎡ environment condition compared to the 3 A/㎡ and 4 A/㎡ environment conditions. This is because that OH? which was comparatively largely generated at the metal surface is preferably combined with Mg²?.

We reconsider the problem that reconstruction is propelling actively in private section now, and we are going to present the way to be desired of reconstruction. The purpose of reconstruction shall be improved residential environment. But till now, reconstruction expecting business benefit have been made up imprudently. We point out such problem and subdivide into structural stability estimation, fuctional estimation, economical estimation, so we are going to present standard of objective judgement.

The superannuated houses over 20 years occupy above 50 percent of while nation houses in Korea. Because the apartment house is a major means of housing supply, it is expected that the demand of the reconstruction of superannuated apartment house will be sharply increase. But the reconstruction system is use only about one-third time of the life of reinforced-concrete building the life of which is longer than 55years. since 1993, There is growth in the reconstruction for superannuated apartmenthouse. Under these backgrounds, this study analyzes the negative factors of the reconstruction system through the actual condition of the object apartment house of reconstruction in Korea. And to be more effective system this study grasps the disposition of reconstruction through the reconstruction present condition, physical condition, inhabitants’ awareness.

Since reconstruction for apartment houses was allowed in 1987, a lot of residence buildings were crashed and rebuilt. Although reconstruction system has improved physical conditions of houses, it has also led a waste of restricted resource. To prevent the environmental disruption in cities and a waste of resource, the objective and quantified standard must be established. This study presents a elementary data to researchers study the reconstruction system. 6 cases conducted by four organizations were collected and used in analysis. 6 factors are compared and analyzed in 6 cases to assess structural safety. The factors derived from literature review were generally investigated in a safety diagnosis for reconstruction assessment. The results shows that apartments reconstructed still have a great value.
