Experimental results of pulsating pressure behavior inside a chamber have been confirmed by computational work. Inside-cylinder pressure shows unstable condition at low rpm. This is caused by plate-type suction valve. It has effect up to inlet of the chamber. But trembling phenomenon is reduced as the pressure is enlarged by increasing the rpm. Result comparison between experimental and numerical analysis shows pulsation reduction is affected by the chamber. We can confirm that compressible effect of the working flow is shown at chamber inlet by increasing rpm. On the other side, this effect is declined at chamber outlet by increasing rpm. It means outlet pressure is going on balance with atmosphere pressure. Buffer plate-type chamber has efficiency of pulsation flow reduction.

This research represents the catalytic converter for application in the motorcycle. We have to consider about catalytic converter for reducing exhaust gas strength regarding the displacement volume enlargement. The catalytic converter has been widely used to satisfy the regulations of pollutant emissions from automobiles. Recently, all catalytic converter researches are about automobile. Study about motorcycle catalytic converter has not been conducted yet. In this study, flow uniformity and pressure distribution were simulated in the monolithic inlet of catalytic converter for motorcycle. Exhaust pulsation pressure was set as transient condition about. It was found that flow uniformity shown in base model (0.85) was lower than megaphone model (0.98).

The aim of this study is to remove crack on a ventilation device at the suction part of zinc plating factory, and the main point is making optimum configuration by improving an existing hood system. The result shows that existing hood system has problem with duct configuration, angle and reducer. Model-E shows lowest pressure difference as meaning of suction capability. The hood inlet surface has most uniform suction capability.
대형 디젤엔진 변속기 오일쿨러 냉각팬 유동특성에 관한 연구

This study is about air-cooling fan for large diesel engine transmission oil cooler. In order to increasing the pressure, turbo type is proposed as the type of fan. Blades of impeller are constructed by splitted type. Experiment for the performance of cooling fan is carried out with reference on AMCA Standard 210-99. Moreover, the result of experiment is verified by using CFD. As the result, It can be confirmed a performance curve shows about 3% gap between experiment and numerical analysis, which indicates the lower flow rate in numerical analysis. But the global tendencies of experiment and numerical analysis are almost identical and the generated error can be covered in design.

This study includes a numbering value analysis about lubrication system of transmission for commercial vehicle. We have tried to confirm the flow rate of lubricating oil from lubrication pipe in each part with a standard for oil flow rate from the oil pumps. The transmission for this research can be applied to a commercial vehicle which is over 15tons, tried to confirm the flow range from CFD. We could find out the quantity of lubrication oil at outlet of pipes with a numbering value analysis, which cannot be confirm with experimentation, hope to be applied as a reference for suitable drawing on next time.

The results are also compared with the rotation and mass flow rate of main shaft. The mass flow rate increased according to an engine rpm from oil hole. This study is believed to be the start for the optimal design of the lubricating system in the manual transmission.
