Brake Squeal Noise를 유발하는 Brake Contact Interface와 Rotor의 In-Plane Modes에 관한 연구

For many years, brake noise has been one of the top automotive brake warranty issues, and many studies have been conducted to reduce the squeal phenomenon by improving the rotor-pad contact interface or by decoupling modes inducing squeals. This research investigates brake contact interface and rotor in-plane modes which generate brake squeal noise and conduct a robust correlation between CAE and Test by using methods such as the 3D laser vibrometry ODS and modal mapping. This paper considers the different brake contact interfaces affecting low frequency brake squeal and introduce an effective way of reducing the problem by improving one of the brake secondary contacts. On the discussion with the rotor in-plane mode, importance of rotor radial mode on inducing squeal issues and noise risks being introduced by rigid in-plane modes on assembly restraint conditions are topics that are often being left aside on former researches.

Generally, vehicle test has been widely adopted by means to evaluate and improve rattle noise of steering system. But it consumes a lot of time and development cost, as well as difficult to ignore the variation of vehicles. This paper proposes systematic approach method to evaluate rattle noise of power steering system instead of vehicle test and also identifies rattle noise phenomenon according to the size of steering system using acoustic holography method. On this study, noise contribution analysis using anti-rattle spring and yoke clearance drew appropriate design guide to reduce rattle noise. Test result using mode analysis of gearbox housing and tuning parameter of MDPS shows that improvement of mechanical system is important to reduce rattle noise. In the future, additional studies will be conducted to reduce rattle noise based on this research.

주식투자에 익숙하지 않은 초보 투자자들은 투자원칙의 부재 및 경험 부족으로 감정적인 투자 의사결정을 하기 쉽다. 또한 투자결과에 대해 민감하게 반응하여 향후 공격적인 투자를 집행하는 등 비합리적인 의사결정을 내리기도 한다. 이러한 심리적 편향을 예방하며 주식투자자들이 이성적인 판단을 하기 위해서는 지속적인 경험과 복기를 통해서 본인의 투자행동을 정교화시키는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 주식투자 복기를 도와주는 챗봇을 기획하고, 이에 대한 효과성을 알아보고자 했다. 또한 컴패니언쉽 요소(컴패니언쉽 유/컴패니언쉽 무)와 리추얼 요소(리추얼 유/리추얼 무)를 독립변수로 2X2 집단 간 실험을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 세 가지 종속변수에 대해 컴패니언쉽 요소(컴패니언쉽 유/컴패니언쉽 무)의 주효과는 나타났지만, 리추얼 요소(리추얼 유/리추얼 무)에 따른 주효과는 나타나지 않았다. 또한 컴패니언쉽 요소과 리추얼 요소 간 상호작용 효과도 발견되지 않았다. 구체적으로, 컴패니언쉽을 가지고, 개별 특성에 대한 정보를 적극적으로 수집하고, 친근한 말투와 매너로 과업을 함께 수행했던 에이전트는 그렇지 않았던 에이전트에 비해 투자 결과에 대한 부정적인 감정 완화, 자기통제감 및 유저 관여도 강화 등에 더 높은 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 개별 사용자의 주관적 특성을 반영한 자산관리 챗봇 에이전트를 설계할 때에 컴패니언쉽과 같은 챗봇의 사회적 요소를 적극적으로 고려해야 한다는 점을 시사한다. 한편, 리추얼의 실용적 적용의 한계 등에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다. Beginner investors who are not familiar with stock investment are apt to make emotional investment decisions due to lack of investment principles and lack of experience. They also make irrational decisions by reacting sensitively to investment results and executing aggressive investments in the future. In order to prevent this psychological bias and to make rational decisions for stock investors, it is important to refine their investment behavior through continuous experience and refinement. Therefore, in this study, we conducted experiment of 2X2 between subject design with two Independent variables(partnership, ritual). The study found the main effect on the partnership elements for three dependent variables. However, no main effects were found on the ritual elements. In addition, no interaction effects were found between the partnership and ritual elements. The results suggest that the social factors of chatbot, such as partnerships, should be actively considered when designing chatbot agents that reflect the subjective characteristics of individual users. On the other hand, further research is needed on the limitations of the practical application of the ritual element.

This study intends to provide the analytical and experimental damping characterization of carbon<br/> nanotube/epoxy composites. A constitutive model based on continuum mechanics is employed to describe<br/> epoxy and the perfectly bonded and partially bonded nanotubes. An interfacial stick-slip between the<br/> nanotubes and epoxy is considered to characterize the damping of the composites. For experimental<br/> estimation, beam-type specimens are prepared with a variation of nanotube concentration from 0.5% to 2% in<br/> weight. An ultrasonic agitation method is employed for enhancing the nanotube dispersion within epoxy.<br/> Damping of the composites is characterized in terms of the strain and the nanotube concentration. Results<br/> show that the nanotube concentration significantly affects the damping characteristics of the nanocomposites.<br/> A good correlation is found between the analytical prediction based on the stick-slip and the experimental<br/> measurements.

Brake low frequency noise phenomena (Moan, Groan Noise) are occurred by frictional stick-slip between pads and a rotor. When frictional stick-slip between pads and a rotor is occurred, this excitation source makes resonance of suspension system, which can generate structure-borne noise. Therefore, mechanism of low frequency noise phenomena should be systematically approached and analyzed in many different directions. In this study, automotive brake low frequency noise phenomena were approached and analyzed through three different simulation methods. A complex Eigenvalue analysis, steady state dynamic analysis and dynamic explicit analysis were performed and compared in an automotive drum brake system of trailing arm suspension type. For this, modal testing in the state of vehicle was performed and correlated with finite element analysis. Drum brake system was used in brake squeal noise simulation FE model which were correlated with brake components and sub-assembly modal testing results. Finally, causes of low frequency noise phenomena in this brake system were analyzed through three simulation methods.

Vehicle thermal management system (VTMS) is one of the promising technologies for responding to stricter CO₂ regulation. VTMS substitutes some mechanical parts for electronic parts and requires an electronic control system. Therefore, gaining an understanding of the cooling system of the vehicle is becoming more and more important for optimal control. This study focused on cooling system modeling for predicting the behavior of coolant, engine oil and transmission oil. Cooling system was modeled mathematically and experiments on some parts of the cooling system, including radiator, transmission oil warmer and thermostat were carried out in order to find out modeling coefficients. Simulation results were compared with experiment data and good agreement was revealed. It is proposed that the present work can be applied for model-based VTMS control.
