Due to progress in manufacturing techniques, the performance of the harmonic drive has been improved but not sufficiently. One of the important problems which the current harmonic drive has is that while there is the potential for having a wider tooth contact area, the total number of teeth engaged simultaneously is still small. This is mainly due to the involute tooth profile. Hence, in this study, the cycloid-type tooth profile is developed to improve this problem. This paper represents the design methodology and performance evaluation f the cycloid-type harmonic drive. Cycloide tooth profile was derived by analyzing geometry of the tooth engagement and the contact mechanisms of the tooth which were examined and analyzed by load analysis. The stress due to elastic deformation of a flexspline was also obtained by approximate formula and computer analysis. Finally, the cycloid-type harmonic drive with 1:100 speed ratio was manufactured and the performance of the harmonic drive was evaluated.

A high speed tracking control system for 6-6 Stewart platform manipulator is designed for performing the model based joint-axis sliding mode control. Because of the complex dynamics and kinematics of the Stewart platform manipulator, two computer systems, consisting of a PC and a DSP, are adopted, so that real time tasks are run in synchronous and asynchronous modes. It is experimentally proven that the proposed control system makes the convenience in implementation of model based tracking control, so that it can achieve effective tracking control under relatively high speed and additional payload conditions.

In this paper, the robust design and tolerancing of the stabilized mirror is performed to increase its stabilization performance under vehicle vibration. Based on the sensitivity analysis, the seven important control factors are first identified, and then the optimal as well as robust values in the sense of Taguchi method are obtained. Finally, the tolerances associated with each design variables are determined based on a successive sensitivity analysis of the simulated system response so that the deviation in the response from the target value meets the specification requirements. The proposed tolerancing method features that it is a robust but conservative design method and that the computational effort is much less than the Monte Carlo simulation method.

문화와 예술은 불가분의 관계이다. 하지만 문화는 삶의 질적 가치를 향유하고 즐기는 것이라면, 예술은 고뇌가 수반된 창작활동으로 창조적, 선구자적 자질로 문화를 이끌어 가는 중심축이라 할 수 있다. 예를 들어 공연을 진행할 때, 공연하는 사람은 창작을 하는 예술인이고, 즐기며 향유하는 사람은 문화인인 것이다. 이렇듯 문화와 예술은 떨어질 수 없는 관계이며, 예술인들이 본인의 영역에서 창작활동을 이어가면서 지역의 문화가 발전하는 데 작은 밑거름이 되고 있다. 사회는 이런 현실을 이해하면서 문화와 예술이 다름을 인정하고 함께 나아가는 길을 모색하는 게 앞으로의 가장 큰 과제이다. Culture and art are inseparable. However, if culture is to enjoy and enjoy the qualitative value of life, art is a creative activity involving anguish and can be said to be the central axis of leading culture with creative and pioneering qualities. For example, when performing a performance, the performer is an artist who creates, and the person who enjoys and enjoys it is a cultural person. As such, culture and art are inseparable, and as artists continue their creative activities in their own fields, they serve as a small foundation for the development of local culture. The biggest task in the future is for society to understand this reality, admit that culture and art are different, and find a way to move forward together.
