신경 회로망을 이용한 문자 패턴의 골격선 검출에 관한 연구

문자의 인식 분야에서 이진화된 문자 패턴의 골격선은 특징 성분의 추출을 쉽게 하므로 많이 이용되고 있다. 최근에는 신경 회로망이 이 분야에서 주목받고 있으므로 골격선을 신경 회로망을 이용해서 추출하는것이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 학습이 필요하지 않은 고정 가중치(fixed weight)[2]를 갖는 한 종류의 neuron을 이용해서 골격선을 검출하는 신경 회로망을 설계하였으며, IBM-PC/AT 에서 시뮬레이션(simulation)을 하고 결과를 검토 하였다.

In railway train operations, a braking distance between two trains must be controlled on their speeds to avoid rear end collisions. The distance is decided by some parameters such that propulsion and braking performance of trains, gradient and etc. When determining this block distance, it is important to consider the two aspects that safety insurance at train running and increase of train running frequency. In this paper, we showed a methodologies of equiblock by consideration gradients and calculated optimal block speeds on the basis of the equivalent block distance.

Headway calculation is a important mean to evaluate railway system performance. A accurate headway calculation can be needed to headway reducing being achieved line capacity increasing by regulating signals spacing without any line construction. This paper introduced the theories and algorithms of calculating headways on wayside, multi step, one step braking and moving block signalling systems and showed some results of headways.

Identification of individuals predisposed to obesity is an important issue for prevention and control of the obesity. It was reported that a high prevalence of obesity appeared in Taeumin among Sasang constitutions, but Enneagram personality-types has not been used to classify the patterns of obesity. These two classification methods were employed in combination in the current study, and it was analyzed whether the morbidity pattern of obesity can be characterized in further detail. Methods The subjects were 125 University students(62 males and 63 females) who answered both questionnaires for Sasang constitutions and Enneagram personality types. The obesity of students was classified by the obesity index and BMI. Results Only Taeumin group of Sasang constitutions was overweight, and the male of the group was overweight or obese. Analysis of the obesity index and BMI according to the Enneagram personality types showed significant differences(p<.05) between the types in the female group. These values were highest at the type 3 and lowest at the type 4. The physical indices according to both the centers of Enneagram and Sasang constitutions showed that only Taeumin female group had significant differences(p<.05) in the obesity index and BMI. Taeumin male group was overweight or obese in all centers of Enneagram and Taeumin female group was overweight or obese only in heart-center. Conclusions Diagnosis of the present data suggest that the classification of obesity patterns using Enneagram personality types in addition to Sasang constitutions is very useful to prevent and control the obesity.

In these days, as the scale of our technology becomes larger and more highly advanced, the magnitude of an accident tends to be large. For this reason, in some systems whose accident may cause a large-scale and long-term catastrophe, a preliminary and quantitative safety assessment has become required before its construction. A method developed for this requirement is risk assessment. In this study, we focused on the methodology of probabilistic risk assessment, which has been developed mainly in the field of nuclear power industry, and considered the process to adopt this method to railway system in order to establish a scientific and comprehensive way of safety assessment.

Testing evaluation is a part of process for design, production, evaluation, operation and abolition, and is the process of certifying system performance. The main purpose of testing evaluation is to reduce the risk factor under the determining process. Testing process has the three step such as design qualification, integration and validation test in factory, system integration and commissioning test. Design qualification is to verify errors on the design process. Integration and validation test in factory is for the H/W and S/W of an equipment and is to verify interface of subsystem, communication protocol and main functions. System integration and commissioning test is a functional test to adjust successful installation of equipment. According to the testing process, briefly consideration for test item, test method and test contents about signalling system is carried out.

The railway signaling system consists of microcomputerized vital devices on board and ground, which are connected to one another by track circuits, and interlocking equipment for route control. Therefore it is important to validate the required functions of developed system and interface between developed signaling systems. To verify the conditions and functions of signaling logic, the laboratory prototype test bench, which consists of personal computers with software module and Ethernet LAN, will be developed. In this paper general design of signaling system test bench for high-speed rail is described and developed software module is presented.
