The purpose of this study was to investigate of the over conformity to the sport ethic scale`s sociometric properties and validation in athletes on the national team. Enumeration survey and statistical analysis were conducted for examining 126 national athletes. A research tool used in this study was SAQ Korean version developed by Shipherd (2010). Statistical analysis was conducted with SPSS 20.0, AMOS 20.0, SAS 9.2, WINSTEPS 3.74(Linacre, 2012). Main findings of this study are as follows. First, it was reported to be unsuitable for Korean athletes. Second, 3 items were unsuitable for scale propriety resulting from WINSTEPS. Lastly, validated SAQ was appropriated for considering Korean athletes on the national team.

The purpose of this study was to find spectator's value cognition and expected-benefit factors on professional baseball sportstar. Purposeful Sampling method was used to select among fan club leaders and people who had watched baseball games over ten years 8 informants who watched more than 4 times in 6 baseball games in 2011 Lotte Card Professional Baseball League. Data collection relies on focus group interviews and in-depth interviews. Text analysis was attempted to adopt the A-R-C needs theory proposed by Thomson(2006) for spectator's value cognition and the metaphors for consuming by Holt(1995) for expected-benefit factors. The research summary is as follow: Spectator's value cognition on professional baseball sportstar were an object of entertainment-oriented value, a major figure for social relationship-oriented and an object of identical. Spectator's expected-benefit factors on professional baseball sports tar were confirmation of values and heroic orientation. Meanwhile, spectator who had entertainment-oriented value cognition on professional baseball sportstar expect heroic orientation, who recognize professional baseball sportstar a major figure for social relationship-oriented and an object of identical pursue confirmation of values.

스포츠사회학 : 대학생의 여가스포츠 참가유형과 여가활동능력의 관계

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between types of participation in leisure sports and abilities of leisure activity of colleges student`s. For accomplishing this purpose of the study, 633 subjects were sampled by random cluster sampling method from 5 colleges located in Seoul, in 2001. The analyzing data were selected 597. The survey questionaire were used to collect data. The questionnaire for ability of leisure activities was `The leisure and diagnostic battery` developed by Witt & Ellis(1987) and standardized in Korean language by Kim(1995). The statistical nethods utilized in this study for analyzing the collected data were descriptive statistics, factor analysis, ore-way ANOVA, ANCOVA and MCA. From the analysis of this study, the follwing conclusions were obtained: Firstly, college student`s abilities of leisure activities are partially different by socio-demographic characteristics. In detail, male is higher than female in abilities of leisure activities. And in family income, higher group, higher ability. Secondly, abilities of leisure activities are different by the types of participation in leisure sports. In detail, participators of team sports events is more ability than them of individual sprots events.

This research examined the enculturation of multicultural families according to whether or not they participate in their community sport for all activities, and the cultural technological analysis was used. The purpose of this research was to examine what role the community sport for all activities play, what effects they exert, and what positive factors they have in these multicultural families. The research participants were 12 families of the two regions, and the data were collected using in-depth interviews and the participatory observation method, and the bibliographic data were collected to enhance the practicality of the research. Based on these collected data, the analysis was conducted through the domain analysis and the classification analysis. The conclusion of this research is as follows. First, multicultural families recognize language, daily life, family relations, and cultural differences through participating in community sport for all activities. Second, multicultural families were found to have overcome the differences in daily life and cultures and the conflicts in interpersonal relations and family relations through participating in community sport for all activities. Third, multicultural families were found to have used the community sport for all activities as the materials for accepting Korean culture, compromising with culture, overcoming discrimination, and forming and maintaining interpersonal relations.

The purpose of this study is to examine the present state of community sport centers with regards to providers and participants, to develop strategies to improve community sports center management, and to provide basic informations for development of a management evaluation standard of community sports centers. After analyzing the actual state of community sports center management with regards to providers (open questionnaire) and participants (questionnaires), this study investigated the problems of community sports center management. To improve strategies for community sports center management, this study collects professional's opinions (delphi technique), and then suggested basic informations for optimal community sports centers management. This study suggested that based on the functions of community sports centers, the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation (SOSFO) should provide incentive to excellent community sports centers, and develops evaluation standards for community sports center management which educates and supports advanced management methods. Therefore, SOSFO should establish different policies according to the findings of this study.

손연재 신문보도를 통해 본 한국 여성 스포츠 셀러브리티의 이데올로기적 특성

This study was conducted to examine the characteristics of ideologies playing the key roles of producing, reproducing, and consuming woman sport celebrities through the media. Accordingly, the ideological perspective of the media toward woman sport celebrities and the characteristics of ideologies attributed to woman sport celebrities and presented to the public were examined. This study used content analysis. When collecting data, the internet news article search systems are used for the selected Korea’s three representative newspapers. Collected total articles were 162 cases. and the results of the study were summarized as the following. Ideological characteristics of ‘Yeonjae Son, as Athelete’ were ‘emphatic performances’ and ‘exaggerated achievement’ and those of ‘Yeonjae Son, as Star’ were ‘star as emphasized femininity’ and ‘expanded & reproductive commercialism’.

스포츠사회학 : 운동선수의 아노미와 적응행동 및 일탈행동의 관계

The purpose of this research is to provedly find out the relationship between adaptive behavior and deviant behavior according to anomie of athletes. This research which to achieve this purpose selected the 690 high school male-female fencing athletes who registered the K. A. F. A in 1997. A sampling abstraction drew a random sampling 250 athletes among selected 319 athletes. The data-collecting method made use of anomie index which the Modern Society Association standardized sentences by translation anomie index ;invented by Srole(1956) and supplement-modified by Lee Min Kung(1996). The data-analysis output the average and the standard deviation about the sub-factor of adaption behavior, deviant behavior and anomie of athletes according to speciality of demography. We use the Residual Analysis and Multiple Regression, and Path Analysis. Drugs influences the confirmative behavior and the rebellious behaviour as the standard p<.001, in the deviant behavior of athletes-adaptive behavior`s type. Finally, according to this research, athletes who experienced the anomie show escape as the adaptive behaviour. The escapism of the adaptive behaviour causes the unfairness of the deviant behaviour. We consider the negative thinking of adaptive behaviour as sports emotion, the affirmative thinking of deviant behaviour which is allowed in the sports will reduced the anomie.

The purpose of this study is to clarify what relationship exists between the Korean government``s policies for Taekwondo promotion and accompanied changes in Taekwondo demonstration culture. For this purpose, we adopted the method of literature research, and data were collected from national policy materials, records of the performances of the Taekwondo Demonstration Team, forms of demonstration, newspaper reports, press releases, special publications for Taekwondo demonstration, previous studies etc. Based on the collected data, this study explored government policies for Taekwondo promotion and changes in Taekwondo demonstration culture that have been influenced by the government policies on Taekwondo promotion. Its results are as follows. First, the government policies for Taekwondo promotion were Taekwondo support policy as traditional culuture, as civil foreign relationship promotion, as establishing foreign relation with socialism countries, as cultural exchanges between South and North Korea, and also as the policies following the law of Taekwondo Promotion. Second, the culture of Taekwondo demonstration has been changed, on the side of the contents, components of performing arts such as music, lights, costume, stages, make-up etc. are included apart from the existing traditional demonstration, while on the side of the forms, changes have arisen from traditional demonstration to performing art by making Taekwondo demonstration cultural contents in the forms of non-verbal performances, musicals etc. And also Taekwondo demonstration culture to be oriented toward the Hallyu (Korean wave) in sports diplomacy in accordance with the context of the Hallyu policies that have tried to commercialize and marketize culture, from foreign relation oriented tendency of Taekwondo demonstration.

한국 엘리트스포츠 지도자의 자본을 통한 권력 형성 메커니즘

The purpose of this study is to explore and understand the mechanism on how Korean elite sport coaches' build economic ․ cultural capitals, not only in the context of when they pass down techniques and skills to their players as the most fundamental responsibility of elite coaches', but in the context of when they manage and operate their teams. The result from this study are as follows: First, economic capital was formed by the necessary budget allocation and execution for a team and players which play an important role in managing the team and players and generate absolute power over the team. Second, cultural capital was built by the leadership which provides players with trust and material and emotional comfort, based on coaches' experiences. Such leadership was reproduced as power which lead their teams and players to play hard. In addition, when coaches got a professional certificate and degree, power was more reinforced. Third, mechanism of fields on the interrelation between economic, cultural capital It was formed not only by obtaining power based on economic and cultural capital, but by pursuing symbolism capital of coaches' along with upward mobility. It justified mechanism on interrelation between economic․cultural capital from artificial to natural order.

야외 모험 레저스포츠 체험에 대한 사회학적 해석: 스킨·스쿠버를 중심으로

To accomplish this purpose has collected data since April 2009 by using In-depth Interview, Participant Observation, and Archival Research. The summary of the study is as following. First, based on the results from adventure experiences on Skin-SCUBA Diving, the researcher found the reasons why the participants worried about financial burden and potential dangers which would be happened when they perform Skin-SCUBA Diving. When the divers trained Skin-SCUBA Diving in the pool, they felt a fear of water itself and difficulties of adaptation under the water. When they went to Skin-SCUBA Diving in the ocean, they were so excited, but felt fears of the ocean. Second, there are the similarities in experiences between Skin-SCUBA Diving despite the difference of physical environment (underwater). Skin-SCUBA Diving play an important role in releasing the stress, building human relationships, and improving oneself.
