Vol.2010 No.4
릴레이에서는 증폭 후 재전송 (Amplify and Forward; AF) 방식과 복호 후 재전송 (Decode and Forward; DF) 방식을 사용하여 신호를 전송한다.

Today, population decline and aging are global phenomena, and not just restricted to some countries. In the case of Korea, the population is expected to decrease from 51.7 million in 2016 to 44 million, and the percentage of people aged and over is likely to increase to 40.1% in 2060 from 13.5% in 2016. Population decline and aging of rural communities are getting worse, and compared to the mainland, islands are experiencing phenomena with considerable strength and speed. In this study, projections of the population of islands are presented and special attention is given to areas with high possibility of becoming uninhabited in the future due to poor accessibility. The results of the study are as follows. Firstly, for islands nationwide the population is projected to decrease by 285,547 people and drop to 556,583 in 2066, while the percentage of old people is expected to become 32.5%. Secondly, for the 65 islands in the country that are connected by bridges, the population shows a projected decline of 30.2% to 506,312 people in 2066, with old people accounting for 32.0% of this number. Thirdly, for the remaining 404 islands in Korea, the population is projected to shrink to 52,271 people, being a decrease of 56.1%, with people over 65 years old making up 36.9% of the total in 2066. Finally, during the next 50 years, 63 islands are expected to become uninhabited, all of which are islands without bridges. Specific policies to prevent this from happening are sought.
