자연친화적인 디자인이 부각되면서 꽃예술에서도 환경성은 매우 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 본 연구의 목적은 현대의 꽃예술이 공간연출을 통해 환경예술의 한분야에서 이바지하고 있는 것에 의의를 두었다. 본 연구는 일본 현대 꽃예술의 대표적 유파로 환경예술을 지향하는 초월(草月)을 선정하여 공간연출의 특성을 파악하는데 있다. 2001년도부터 2011년도까지 대표가원 데시가하라 아카네와 역대가원들의 작품을 년도별 전람회 도록과 격월발행 잡지의 작품사진을 표출하였다. 문헌고찰과 공공(公共)공간의 공간연출 유형에 의한 특성, 조형요소, 년도별 공간연출 경향에 따른 분류기준에 의해 분석되었다. 연구의 분석결과 공간연출의 유형에서 설치장소는 녹지공간의 문화적 message를 담은 문화의 공간인 공원에서 32%정도로 가장 많이 연출되었다. 설치형식은 이케바나 설치가 용이한 바닥형이 93%정도로 매우 높은 비율로 나타났다. 공간연출의 조형요소에서 구성은 직·곡선이 혼합된 구성이 61%정도로 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있는데 이는 비교효과와 힘찬 생동감을 표현하려는 의지가 높은 것으로 사료된다. 형태는 추상형태가 77%정도의 높은 비율로 연출되었는데 이는 초대가원의 교육이념에 의한 영향을 받고 있다. 색채는 이색조화 42%, 다색조화 21%정도 순으로 나타났다. 소재는 초월을 상징하는 대나무가 전체작품의 72% 정도를 차지하며, 대나무 소재사용에 의한 기법에서는 56%정도로 통·절개를 혼합하여 반복과 통일된 형태로 자연과 작품이 유기적으로 상호 공존하는 관계로 환경성이 강조되었다. 년도별 공간연출에서도 유형별 연출은 공원에서, 조형요소별 연출은 직·곡선과 추상형태, 이색조화와 대나무 사용에 의한 통·절개 등이 높은 비율을 보이고 있다. 특히 2002년도와 2005년도에는 인근색 조화를 사용한 도심의 거리 디스플레이로 초월의 이미지를 부각시켰다. 초월의 이케바나는 지역의 특성을 지닌 요소를 적극적으로 사용하여 환경보존은 물론 이케바나를 통해 생활공간을 보다 아름답고 쾌적하게 할 수 있는 문제에 초점을 두고 미학적인 측면과 더불어 대중적인 환경예 술을 지향하며 환경예술에 이바지하고 있다. The purpose of this study was to produce a modern flower art space in the field of the environment by contributing to the artistic significance of what was placed. This study is representative of modern Japanese floral art schools oriented to the environment beyond the arts Sogetsu to select the area to be directed to identify the characteristics. a representative masters of floral art master from 2001 until 2011 and the works by Iemoto Teshigahara Akane. and the works by masters of floral art in history Iemoto’s Influence examines the photos of works in the exhibition catalogs by year and the magazine Ikebana Sogetsu. Literature and public by type of production space characteristics of the space, formative elements, the yearly trend in production space was analyzed by classification. The result of study showed that among space installation types, a high proportion for the place of installation was found in the park. park is a space of culture that has cultural message, 32% green space. There was also a high proportion of the installation type found in ground-type which was 93% of installation that is easy to install. Among the formative elements of space installation, organization showed the interest in comparative effect and the will to express energetic liveliness with the combination 61% of straight line and curve. In shapes, for 77% of abstract shapes showed the influence of the philosophy of education of the first master of floral art. As for color, combination of two colors was 42% and combination of multi-color was 21%. And as for materials, bamboo which symbolizes Sogetsu accounted for 72% of all the works. As for technique in using the material, combination of log and incised bamboo withe shape of repetition and unity was used. This emphasized the environmental effect by creating the organically co-existing relation between nature and works of art. As for space installation according to each year, there were the same proportion of works in installation according to the type and installation according to the formative elements. Especially in 2002 and 2005. The image of Sogetsu was highlighted by displays on streets in downtown using combination of adjacent colors. In the age of cultural pluralism, Ikebana of Sogetsu is installation in public spaces by actively using for a long time elements. It focuses not only on environmental preservation, but also on making the living space more beautiful and pleasant. Through Ikebana’s environmental space, people of all ages and both sexes can communicate through the and is oriented toward aesthetic aspects as well as toward popular environmental art that highlights spiritual discipline and contributes to environmental art.
