일제강점기 강평국의 생애와 여성운동 - 기고문 「여자해방(女子解放)의 잡감(雜感)」을 중심으로 -

본고는 강평국이 1925년 6월과 7월, 동아일보에 2회에 걸쳐 기고한 글 ‘女子解放의 雜感’을 중심으로 강평국의 생애와 여성운동, 여성해방론에 대해 분석한다. 강평국은 흔들리지 않고 자신의 신념을 삶에 적용하였고 제주 사회에서 숨죽이고 살아가는 여성들에게 작은 불꽃을 전하고자 한 여성운동가 였다. 제주 최초의 여학교인 신성여학교를 졸업하고 경성으로 유학을 떠나 관립경성여자고등보통학교 사범과를 다니면서 3·1운동에 주도적으로 참여했다. 강평국은 졸업 후 제주 여성의 교육을 위해 ‘여수원’을 설립하였으며, 일본 동경으로 유학을 떠나 의학도로 학업을 잇는 한편, 유학 중에도 조국의 독립과 여성 해방을 위한 헌신했다. ‘女子解放의 雜感’은 여성을 업신여기는 사회적 풍토에 대항하며 여성을 노예로 취급하고자 하는 다수의 남성들을 향한 글이자, 우매한 여성들이 잠에서 깨어나기를 촉구하는 글이다. 강평국은 여성에게도 동일한 교육의 기회를 제공하여야 한다고 주장하며 여성교육의 저변 확대를 위해 노력하는 한편, 여성운동가로서 남성들에게 예속된 여성의 사회적 지위와 한계를 근본적으로 해결하기 위해 여성의 경제적 독립을 통한 여성해방을 주장하였다. 이 글은 신문의 기고문이지만, 강평국이 직접 쓴 글로 유일하게 전해지는 데에 의의가 있다. This paper analyzes Kang’s life and the women’s movement through the article “The Thoughts of Women’s Liberation”, which was contributed twice by Kang Pyoung-guk to the Dong-A Ilbo in June 1925. Kang Pyoung-guk was a female activist who tried to convey a small light to women who were living breathlessly in Jeju society. Kang graduated from Sinseong Girls' School, the first female school in Jeju, and went to Kyungsung to study. Kang took the initiative in the March 1st Movement in Seoul. After graduation, Kang established ‘Yeosuwon’ for the education of women in Jeju, and went to Tokyo, Japan, where Kang continued her studies as a medical student, while shouting for the independence of her country and the liberation of women. Kang applied her beliefs to life without faltering. “The Thoughts of Women’s Liberation” is an article against the social climate in which women were despised, and can be understood as an article directed at a number of men who want to treat women as slaves at any time. In this article, female activist Kang Pyoung-guk argued that women should be given equal opportunities for education, and made efforts to expand the base of women’s education, while paying attention to women’s economic independence as a way of fundamentally addressing the social status and limitations of women. It’s a short article for the newspaper, but the only one he wrote herself is worth it.
진동대 실험을 통한 브레이스 보강 금속마감 천장의 내진성능평가

After the 2016 Kyoung-Ju and 2017 Po-Hang earthquakes, securing seismic performance of non-structural elements as well as structural elements of buildings has become an important design issue in Korea. Suspended ceilings can cause damage to life and property to residents due to the falling of finishing materials or collapse of ceiling frame members during earthquakes, and in particular, it can cause secondary damage by blocking the evacuation route. According to KDS 41 17 00, if the ceiling area of the Seismic design category D building exceeds 250 m², a seismic bracing system must be applied. This paper proposes a rigid bracing system to secure the seismic performance of the steel panel T-bar ceiling system, and evaluates the performance through the shake table test. Through experiments on two ceiling systems with different bracing arrangements, dynamic behaviors such as natural frequencies and relative displacements were analyzed, and the cause of panel separation during earthquakes was found. It was found that the relative displacement between the grid members was the biggest cause of panel detachment of the rigid braced ceiling system. In order to reduce the relative in-plane displacement of the ceiling, a method of narrowing the spacing between the braces or increasing the in-plane rigidity may be used.
비내진 상세를 갖는 금속마감패널 천장시스템의 진동대 실험을 통한 내진성능평가

In Korea, the seismic design of non-structural elements was interested by Earthquake of the 2016 Gyeong-ju and 2017 Po-hang. Among the non-structural elements, the ceiling system with steel panel used in Po-hang station showed failure examples of non-seismic design ceiling. In this study, the seismic performance of suspended ceiling with steel-panel, such as those used in Po-hang Station, was evaluated by shaking table tests. The shaking table tests were performed in accordance with the ICC-ES AC156 standard with floor acceleration being applied horizontally in one direction using a 3.3 × 3.3 m² frame. The ceiling system consists of steel-panels, carrying channels, main and cross T-bars, and anti-falling clips. The anti-falling clip prevents the steel panel falling completely. The shaking table test confirmed that the damage at the previous stage had a direct impact on the damage state at the next stage. Through the shaking table test, the damage state of the T-bar type steel-panel suspended ceiling system was defined.
