본 연구는 한국노년학회지 창간호부터 2008년 현재까지 30년간 게재된 논문 중 건강ㆍ간호 분야의 논문 분석을 통하여 연구의 동향을 전반적으로 고찰하고 한국노년학 연구의 다학문적 특성과 관련하여 건강ㆍ간호 부분이 나아갈 방향을 조망하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 한국노년학 통권 1호부터 통권 62호까지 논문 중 건강ㆍ간호 분야의 논문 135편(전체의 18.3%)을 대상으로 분석하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구방법별 분포는 양적연구 110편(81.5%), 질적연구 10편(7.4%), 기타 15편(11.1%)의 순이었고, 연구유형별 분석 결과 일반논문 96편(71.0%), 연구비수혜논문 39편(29.0%)이였다. 둘째, 연구대상자는 주로 남녀 노인 모두, 도시의 재가에 거주하면서 질병이 있거나(55.2%), 건강한 노인(44.8%)을 포함하였다. 셋째, 양적연구는 조사연구가 대부분(82.7%)으로 실험연구가 연도별로 점차 증가하였으며, 다양한 연구대상자 수와 측정변수가 사용되었다. 넷째, 질적연구는 90년대부터 게재되기 시작 하였고, 수는 매우 적었으며 대상자 수 15명 이상인 경우가 5편(50%)이였다. 본 연구를 통하여 한국노년학회에서 건강ㆍ간호 분야 연구의 특성과 동향을 확인 보고하였으며, 장차 수행될 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다. The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the trend of health and nursing researches published in the Journal of the Korean Gerontological Society for 30 years. Total 62 issues of the journal were reviewed and 135 articles(18.3%) were determined as health and nursing research. Among those 135 articles, studies with quantitative methodology were 110(81.5%) and ones with qualitative methodology were 10(7.4%). Less study adopt age criteria as elderly of 65 years old or older and most studies included community dwelling elderly in urban area. Among those quantitative researches survey was the most popular method(82.7%) compared to other types of studies including experimental studies. Experimental studies has been increased since the journal issued for the first time in the year of 1980, yet has occupied only minor portion in the journal until now. Qualitative studies appeared in the journal in the 90' for the first time. The findings of this review suggest that adequate amount of the studies has been published in the field of health and nursing, however more qualified researches are needed to be performed in terms of larger and more diverse subject groups, clearer and more objective criteria of elderly definition and health status, utilizing more objective and scientific instrument. Instruments of Korean culture oriented and phenomena sensitive are needed to be developed as well.
