In Kang(2017), Jinho Kang persuasively criticized the attempt of Peter Hanks using his concept of cancelled predication to solve the Frege-Geach problem. According to Kang, Hanks had successfully shown the incoherence of Scott Soames's concept of neutral predication, but if it is true, then Hanks's concept of cancelled predication also falls into the same incoherence. I agree with Kang that Hanks faces the same incoherence, and I think that Hank's answers are unconvincing. As I see, however, it is possible for Hanks to overcome Kang's criticism. In this paper, I will reply to Kang's criticism by using conceptual resources in Hanks's own theory. In particular, the idea is that the final predication is compositionally explained by the type it belongs to without having truth-values because cancelled predication itself gives rise to target-shifting toward the type. By doing so, Hanks can successfully solve the Frege-Geach problem even though he let some remarks about cancelled predication unclear and confusing. In addition, it will be revealed that his notation is misleading as well.

본 연구는 고등학교 남학생을 대상으로 성격특성이 자기조절학습전략에 미치는 영향을 구조방정식으로 분석한 것이다. 성격특성은 성격5요인 척도를 이용하였으며, 자기조절학습전략은 인지, 동기, 행동이라는 3가지 하위변인으로 구성되어있다. 인지의 하위요인으로 인지와 메타인지로 세분되어있다. Mplus로 구조방정식모형으로 분석한 결과 성격5요인 중의 하나인 성실성이 인지, 메타인지, 동기, 행동의 자기조절학습전략의 4가지 하위요인 모두에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있었다. 그리고 성격5요인 나머지 4개 요인 중에서 개방성에서 인지의 경로로는 약간의 정(+)적인 영향이 있었으나, 그 외 15가지 경로에서는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 본 연구에 의하면 성격5요인 중 ‘성실성’이 자기조절학습전략에 미치는 영향이 크기 때문에 자기조절학습전략을 활성화시키기 위해 ‘성실성’을 증진시키는 방안의 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 1개 고등학교 남학생을 대상으로 한 연구라는 한계를 가지며, 향후 여학생을 포함한 보다 다양한 연령과 많은 대상으로 연구가 진행될 수 있을 것이다. This study analyzed the effect of personality traits on self-regulated learning strategies in high school boys by structural equation model. The personality characteristics used the personality 5 factor scale, and the self-regulated learning strategy is composed of three sub-variants: cognition, motivation, and behavior. Cognitive factors are divided into cognitive and metacognitive sub-factors. As a result of analyzing the structural equation model with Mplus, ‘Conscientious’, one of the five factors of personality, had a statistically significant positive (+) effect on all four sub-factors of self-regulated learning strategies of cognition, metacognition, motivation, and behavior. And ‘Openness’ was a slight positive (+) influence to the cognitive However, the remaining four factors of personality 5 was no statistically significant influence to any four sub-factors of self-regulated learning strategies. According to this study, Conscientious is needed to activate self-regulated learning strategies because of the large effects. This study has a limitation that it is a study of only one high school male student. In the future, the study can be conducted for more diverse ages group and many subjects, including female students.
하수슬러지와 우분뇨를 이용한 hydrochar의 토양개량제 적용성 평가

In this study, hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) was employed to recycle organic waste with high moisture content, specifically sewage sludge and cow manure. Hydrochar was produced by mixing sewage sludge and cow manure in a 7:3 ratio and was analyzed to contain 58% ash, 29% volatile matter, and 8% fixed carbon. To evaluate the applicability of the produced hydrochar as a soil conditioner, it was mixed with standard sand at various blending ratios. The mixed soil was then analyzed for moisture content, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), exchangeable cations, cation exchange capacity (CEC), total nitrogen (T-N), and available phosphorus (A-P). The results were categorized as superior, intermediate, lower, or poor based on the general planting base soil evaluation grades from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MLIT)'s landscaping design standards. The analysis results revealed that hydrochar was rated as superior in all categories, while standard sand was classified as lower in all categories except for pH and EC. However, the addition of hydrochar demonstrated a notable improvement, particularly in exchangeable cations and CEC, which were rated as intermediate, indicating positive results for nutrient availability and soil fertility for plant growth. This improvement was attributed to the high ash content in hydrochar, which induced a liming effect. Therefore, hydrochar made from sewage sludge and cow manure is considered suitable for use as a soil conditioner. However, it is recommended that long-term observations of soil changes can bec onducted in the future.
