The center of resistance is a important determining factor of tooth movement pattern. Laser speckle interferometry, recently developed for noninvasive measurement of small displacements (microns), was used to detect the center of resistance of a maxillary canine which has normal tooth axis and distal curved root in dry human skull. Laser holographic interferometry was used to verify the results of laser speckle interferometry The following result were obtained; 1. In measurement of the degree of rotation, center of resistance was localized when the traction line passed 4.4/18.0 level from alveola crest to root apex. 2. In measurement of the degree of tipping, center of resistance was localized when the traction line passed 4.6/18.0 level from alveola crest to root apex. 3. In holographic determination, the center of resistance was observed when the traction line passed between 3mm to 6mm level from alveola crest to root apex, therefore the results using laser speckle interferometry was coincided with holographic results.

초등학생들의 생활정치적 특성 탐색 -의사결정과정 실천사례를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to explore the life-political characteristics of elementary school students through practice cases of decision-making processes in schools. To this end, 29 sixth-grade students attending ○○ Elementary School in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, filled out pre-question and post-question papers. and, the researcher conducted an interview to understand the characteristics of elementary school students in the decision-making process. The researcher analyzed the data collected in the research process from a life-political perspective. The results are as follows. First, the position of elementary school students in the decision-making process expressed to solve problems that have occurred in school and the resulting practice patterns may appear differently. Second, students considered the elements of 'fairness' and 'fun by chance' important in the decision-making process to solve problems in elementary school. Third, it was found that students were influenced by the principles of 'sympathy', 'participation', and 'communication' in life-political in the decision-making process to solve problems that occurred in elementary school. Therefore, the elementary social studies curriculum needs to be applied by further expanding the problem situations that may occur in the life-world of elementary school students. The elementary social studies curriculum needs to organize the contents and methods of elementary political education centering on the life-world experience reflecting the life-political characteristics of elementary school students. 본 연구는 초등학생들의 학교 내 의사결정과정 사례를 통해 생활정치적 특성을 탐색하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 경기도 파주시 ○○초등학교에 재학 중인 6학년 학생 29명을 대상으로 사전·사후 질문지를 작성하였고, 초등학생들의 의사결정과정에서 나타난 특성을 파악하기 위한 면담을 실행하였다. 그리고 연구 과정에서 수집한 자료는 생활정치적 관점으로 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학생들이 의사결정과정에서 표현한 입장과 실천 양상은 학교 내에서 발생한 문제의 특성에 따라 불일치하게 나타날 수 있다. 둘째, 초등학생들은 학교 내 문제를 해결하기 위한 의사결정과정에서 ‘공평함’, ‘우연성에 의한 재미’의 요소를 중요하게 생각하였다. 셋째, 초등학생들은 학교 내에서 발생한 문제를 해결하기 위한 의사결정과정에서 생활정치의 공감·참여·소통 원리에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 초등사회과교육과정은 초등학생들의 생활세계에서 발생할 수 있는 문제 상황들을 좀 더 확대하여 적용하고, 초등학생들의 생활정치적 특성이 반영된 생활세계 경험을 중심으로 초등정치교육 내용·방법을 구성할 필요가 있다.

Nonlinear dynamics of striped diffusion flames, by the diffusional-thermal instability with Lewis numbers sufficiently less than unity, is numerically investigated by examining various two-dimensional flame-structure solutions. The Lewis numbers for fuel and oxidizer are assumed to be identical and an overall single-step Arrhenius-type chemical reaction rate is employed in the model. Particular attention is focused on identifying the flame-stripe solution branches corresponding to each distinct stripe pattern and hysteresis encountered during the transition. At a Damkohler number slightly greater than the extinction Damkohler number, eight-stripe solution first emerges from one dimensional solution. The eight-stripe solution survives Damkohler numbers much smaller than the extinction Damkohler number until the transition to four-stripe solution occurs at the first forward transition Damkohler number. At the second forward transition Damkohler number, somewhat smaller than the first transition Damkohler number, the transition to two-stripe solution occurs. However, anu further transition from two-stripe solution to one-stripe solution is not always possible even if one-stripe solution can be independently accessed for particular initial conditions. The Damkohler number ranges for two-stripe and one-stripe solutions are found to be virtually identical because each stripe is an independent structure if distance between stripes is sufficiently large. By increasing the Damkohler number, the backward transition can be observed. In comparison with the forward transition Damkohler numbers, the corresponding backward transition Damkohler numbers are always much greater, thereby indicating significant hysteresis between the stripe patterns of strained diffusion flames.
