최근 스마트폰의 이용 사례가 증가함에 따라, 스마트폰에 내장되어 있는 다양한 센서를 이용하여 인간의 행동을 인식하기 위한 연구가 많은 각광을 받고 있다. 본고에서는 인간의 기본적인 행동 중에 앉기, 걷기, 달리기 등의 행동 특성을 스마트폰에 내장되어 있는 3축 가속도 센서를 통하여 분석하고 인간의 기본적 행동을 자동으로 인식하기 위한 방법에 대하여 비교 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로는 스마트폰에 내장되어 있는 3차원 가속도 센서로부터 추출된 데이터를 시간축에서 샘플링하여 인간의 행동을 인식하기 위한 기댓값 최대화 알고리즘, 랜덤 포레스트, 딥러닝 기반의 기계학습 방법을 비교하여 각 기계학습 알고리즘의 장단점을 분석한다.
활성탄의 포어구조 특성에 따른 CDI 성능에 관한 연구

Activated carbon is used in various fields such as wastewater treatment, air purification, and capacitor electrode material. This is due to the pore properties of activated carbon, and various studies have been conducted for this purpose. Activated carbon generally consists of micropores of 2 run or less, mesopores of 2- 50 run, and macropores of 50 run or more. In this study, in order to use activated carbon as a CDI electrode material, activated carbon was prepared from a precursor. The prepared activated carbon had any effect on the CDI desalination performance, and the salt adsorption capacity and long-term durability were evaluated.
병원 유형 및 지역에 따른 임상영양서비스에 대한 간호사의 인식

The purpose of this study was to evaluate nurses` perception of clinical nutrition services. A cross-sectional survey design was performed. The research was accomplished by using questionnaires developed for this study and administered from September 12 to December 31, 2013 to 343 nurses at 43 tertiary hospitals and 20general hospitals. The percentage of nurses who recognized clinical nutrition certificate as issued from nation was 27.8%. The mean scores of perceived usefulness on clinical nutrition services was 4.23/5.00, whereas that of perceived implementation was 3.76/5.00. The mean scores of necessity of disease-specialized clinical dietitian at capital hospitals were significantly higher for obesity (P<0.01), cancer (P<0.05), and infant & childhood disease (P<0.01) than at local hospitals. The rates of nurses` experience in group education on cancerat capital hospitals (21.7%) was significantly higher than that at local hospitals (10.3%) (P<0.05). The means cores of perceived importance of clinical nutrition services were 4.46/5.00 for ‘group nutrition education’, 4.46/5.00 for ‘individual consultation’, and 4.40/5.00 for ‘nutrition management for enteral nutrition (EN) patients’. The most common reason why clinical nutrition services are important was ‘improving mal nutritional status’. To activate clinical nutrition services especially at local hospitals, clinical dietitians should give systematic assistance to patients and also institutional supports are needed.
저당질고지방-경장영양액이 뇌손상 후 환자의 혈당 조절에 미치는 영향: A Pilot Study

Purpose: Hyperlycemia after brain injury is known to be a risk factor that is correlated with hospital infection, mortality and the length of the hospital stay. There have been some reports about the use of a reduced-carbohydrate, modified high fat enteral formula for improving the blood glucose control and clinical outcomes of patients with type 2 diabetes. This pilot study evaluated the glucose control of brain-injured patients who were admitted into the neurointensive care unit (NCU) and they received either standard formula or high fat formula. Methods: Fourteen subjects were collected and they were divided into the experimental (high fat formula) and the control (standard formula) groups. We investigated the blood glucose levels, the total dose of insulin used, the number of patients who received insulin, the rate of hospital infection, the number of hospital days, the number of NCU days, the days of mechanical ventilation, the body mass index and the mental status of the subjects. Results: The hospital infection rate of the control group was higher than that of the experimental group, but the daily blood glucose level, the number of patients who received insulin and the total dose of insulin used were not statistically different between the two groups. The number of hospital days, the number of NCU days and the days on mechanical ventilation or the number of patients on mechanical ventilation were lower in the experimental group than that in the control group, but there were no statistically significant differences. Conclusion: These results suggest that the use of high fat enteral formula as compared to standard formula may decrease the hospital infection rate in critically ill patients after brain injury. But high fat formula did not have beneficial effects on the blood sugar level and insulin dosage. (JKSPEN 2011;4(1):21-26)
고무공 충격음의 우회전달에 의한 공동주택 상하층 세대에서의 바닥충격음레벨 분포

This study investigated the distribution of floor impact sound levels in the upper and lower floors of an apartment house by the flanking transmission of the sound caused by the impact of a rubber ball. The rubber ball floor impact sound was measured in 10 units (five units on the upper and lower floors based on the excitation floor) of an apartment prior to completion. The measurements indicated that the single number quantity (LiAFmax) of the rubber ball impact sound on the fifth upper and lower floors based on the excitation floor was reduced by 18 dB to 28 dB compared to the floor directly below the excitation floor. It was also found that as the sound-receiving floor was further away from the excitation floor, the decrease was greater at the corner sound-receiving point than at the center and at the lower floor than at the upper floor. In addition, it was observed that the lower the frequency band, the greater was the decrease in the floor impact sound level. These results and further investigations would be helpful in resolving conflicts between residents due to misidentification of the location of the floor impact sound in apartments.
울금 첨가 오리가공육 섭취가 여대생의 식후 혈중 지질 농도에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 건강한 여대생 10명을 대상으로 하여 오리육에 농도를 달리한 울금을 첨가하여 섭취한 후 30분, 60분, 120분, 180분 후 혈액을 채취하여 울금 농도에 따른 혈중 지질농도의 변화를 살펴보았다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 조사대상자는 병적 질환이 없고 신체조건이 한국인 기준에 해당되는 여대생 10명을 대상으로 하여 연구를 시행하였으며 대상자는 159.6 ± 2.6 cm, 51.3 ± 3.5 kg이었으며, BMI는 20.1 ± 1.0으로 정상 범위에 해당하였다. 공복시 혈당과 지질농도, GGT, GPT, GOT, CRP, 헤모글로빈 농도는 모두 정상 수준이었다. 2) 식후 혈중 포도당의 공복 시 혈당에 비해 증가된 △-AUC값에서 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 3) 식후 혈중 총콜레스테롤은 울금 0.2%, 0.4% 첨가하였을 때 공복 시에 비한 △-AUC값에서 대조군에 비해 유의적으로 낮았다. 4) 혈중 중성지방의 농도는 식후 90분 까지 0.4% 첨가군에서만 대조군에 비해 유의적으로 낮았다. 5) 식후 LDL의 공복 시에 비한 △-AUC값은 울금 0.2%, 0.4% 첨가하였을 때 대조군에 비해 유의적으로 낮았다. 6) 식후 HDL의 공복 시에 비한 △-AUC값은 울금 0.2%, 0.4% 첨가하였을 때 대조군에 비해 유의적으로 높았다. 본 연구는 혈중 지질상태가 정상인 여대생을 대상으로 한 인체실험으로 0.2% 이상의 울금 첨가가 고지방식인 훈제오리육가공품의 섭취 시 혈중 지질농도에 영향을 미치고 있음을 밝힌 연구로 그 의미가 있다 할 것이다. 그러나 이의 기전을 보다 명확히 제시할 수 있는 다양한 조건에서의 추후 연구가 필요하다. Purpose: This study examined the effects of duck meats with turmeric powder on blood lipids in 10 female university students. Methods: The subjects received duck meat with 0%, 0.1%, 0.2%, and 0.4% turmeric powder and glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol in their serums after 30, 60, 90, 120, and 180 min were measured. Results: The average height, weight, and body mass index of subjects were 159.6 ± 2.6 cm, 51.3 ± 3.5 kg, and 20.1 ± 1.0, respectively. The fasting glucose, γ-glutamyl transferase (GGT), glutamic pyruvic transferase (GPT), glutamic oxaloacetic transferase (GOT), c-reactive protein (CRP), and hemoglobin were within the normal range. The △-AUC (area under the curve) of postprandial glucose, TG did not change, but △-AUC of postprandial total cholesterol and LDL were significantly decreased, and HDL was increased by intake of the duck meat with turmeric powder. Conclusion: This study shows that duck meats with turmeric powder affected the postprandial blood lipid levels.
