Objective of the research is to demonstrate solar thermal space and ground heating system which is integrated to a green-house culture facility for reducing healing cost, Increasing the value of product by environment control, and developing advanced culture technology by deploying solar thermal system. Field test for the demonstration was carried out in horticulture complex In Jeju Island. Medium scale solar hot water system was installed in a ground heating culture facility. Reliability and economic aspect of the system which was operated complementary with thermal storage and solar hot water generation were analyzed by investigating collector efficiency, operation performance, and control features. Short term day test on element performance and Long term test of the whole system were carried out. Optimum operating condition and its characteristics were closely Investigated by changing the control condition based on the temperature difference which Is the most important operating parameter For establishing more reliable and optimal design data regarding system scale and operation condition, continuous operation and monitoring on the system need to be further carried out. However, It is expected that, in high-insolation areas where large-scale ground storage is adaptable, solar system demonstrated in the research could be economically competitive and promisingly disseminate over various application areas.

Quisqualis Fructus is in use in eastern medicine. The eastern medical doctors use Quisqualis Fructus for killing insects(殺蟲), increasing digestion(消食), etc. We investigated toxicity, poisoning symptoms, poisoning treatment and prevention against poisoning of Quasqualis Fructus. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The main ingredients of poisoning are potassium quisqualate, etc. The ingredients of poisoning from Quisqualis Fructus mainly cause stimulating symptoms on gastrointestinal, etc and cause allergic reaction occasionally. 2. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in eastern medicine take advantage of herbs, such as nutshell of Quisqualis Fructus(使君子殼), Glycyrrhizae Radix(甘草), Phaseoli Radiati Semen(綠豆), etc. And eastern medical doctors should meet symptoms as patients call for attention. 3. The representative methods of poisoning treatment in western medicine are washing out the stomach, promotion of vomiting, causing diarrhea, supplies of grape sugar and diuresis, etc. 4. In order to prevent against poisoning of Quisqualis Fructus, the patients should keep usage, dosage and notes.
동추침(東樞鍼)의 비침습적 간사혈(間使穴) 자극과 자연복식호흡(自然腹式呼吸)이 심박변이도에 미치는 영향

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to assess a effect of medical Qikong treatment by using “DONG CHU CHIM” and medical Qikong treatment by using “DONG CHU CHIM” with Natural Abdominal Breathing and Natural Abdominal Breathing. Methods: 1. The authors stimulated Gansa point of 6 normal adults using ``DONG CHU CHIM``. 2. The Abdominal Breathing has been carried comfortably, with Consciousness placed in the lower abdomen. 3. This study has been proceeded in three periods.(the former period of acupuncture stimulus, acupuncture stimulus period, the latter period of acupuncture stimulus) results and Conclusions: The stimulus of ``DONG CHU CHIM`` and The stimulus of ``DONG CHU CHIM`` with Natural Abdominal Breathing and Natural Abdominal Breathing can affect to the autonomic nervous system. So we wish to more studies about the effect of ``DONG CHE CHIN`` in the future.

Objectives: This study was aimed to contribute to the establishment of base for the development of new health technology in Korean Medicine. Methods: Survey was performed with 200 samples obtained through stratified sampling from the list of members of Association of Korean Medicine. Results: For the question about the recognition of new health technology, 54.0% answered 'yes' and 45.0% answered 'no', For the question about whether using the therapy not listed in the medical care of national health insurance, 43.5% answered 'use', Conclusion: Doctors of Korean Medicine seem to want the enlargement of new health technology in the Korean Medicine.
분무 열 분해법을 이용한 Zn<sub>2</sub>SiO<sub>4</sub> : Mn 나노 형광체의 광학적 특성에 관한 연구

PDP를 비롯한 형광체를 이용하는 디스플레이 분야에서 현재 마이크로미터($\mu}$-meter) 이상의 크기를 갖는 기존의 벌크(bulk) 형광체를 능가하는 성능과 새로운 물성을 나타내는 나노형광체(nanophosphor) 개발 및 응용에 대한 연구가 절대적으로 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 실험에서는 나노 사이즈의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 구형의 $Zn_2SiO_4:Mn$ 형광체 입자를 초음파 분무열 분해(ultrasonic spray pyrolysis) 방법을 이용하여 합성하였다. 구형의 형광체 입자의 크기는 분무 장치의 droplet separator를 도입하여 조절하였다. 2 mol%의 망간을 도핑하여 합성한 $Zn_2SiO_4:Mn$ 입자는 시간이 지남에 따라 감소되고, 최근에 고상에서 합성하여 상용화된 물질에 비교할 수 있을 만한 빛 방출의 세기를 가졌다. 형광체 입자의 크기는 무기질 염의 농도가 0에서 5 M로 증가함에 따라 $1\;{\mu}m$에서 $0.2\;{\mu}m$로 감소하였다. 0.5 M 이상의 농도의 전구체 용액에서 얻어진 형광체 입자의 빛 방출은 상용화되어 있는 물질과의 비교를 통해 알아보았다. Spherical shape $Zn_2SiO_4:Mn$ phosphor particles with the mean particle size from submicron to micron sizes were prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method. A droplet separator was introduced to control the size distribution of the phosphor particles with spherical shape. The $Zn_2SiO_4:Mn$ phosphor particles with 2 mol% doping concentration of manganese have decay time and have photoluminescence intensities comparable with those of the latest commercial product prepared by the solid state reaction method. The size of the phosphor particles was decreased from 1 to 0.2 micrometers as the inorganic salt solution concentration was changed from 0 to 5 M. The phosphor particles prepared from the solutions above 0.5 M have photoluminescence intensities comparable with that of the latest commercial product.
시각특성기반 FM 스크린에 의한 잉크젯 프린터의 측색적 색재현

There are several methods to halftone continuous image. The widespread methods are dithering and error-diffusion. Non-linear color transform by using neural network depends on halftoning methods. Error diffusion has jump of tone in the middle tone area. This affects teaming of neural network and results in increasing color difference. In this paper, we apply FM screen based on visual characteristic to color image. Tone density curve of FM screen is better than that of error diffusion. As a result, using FM screen as halftoning method affects colorimetric color reproduction by neural network and results in decreasing color difference.
