Pluralistic and diverse values exist in the realm of post modernism society In this context, one particular outlook does not have the same meaning across the whole society The creation and sharing of a new meaning do not necessarily need the consent of every member of the society There have been a few attempts to delve into the relationship between sociocultural phenomenon and fashion trends in the pluralistic cultures. However, there has been little research on the theoretical framework in order to analyze a pluralistic phenomenon itself. The purpose of this study is to provide the theoretical paradigms to analyze and interpret various pluralistic phenomena in postmodernism fashion. Theories developed by Gilles Deleuze have been utilized to analyze and interpret the duct tape fashion which is in vogue among the young generation in the USA. The analysis based on the paradigm of Gilles indicates that the duct tape fashion shows pluralistic features of as in the other postmodern cultural activities.
Improvement of the Quality of Ojeoksan(Herbal Medicine) Meal Silage by Molasses Supplementation

당밀의 첨가가 오적산박 사일리지의 품질 및 한국재래산양에 대한 기호성을 조사하기 위하여 두가지 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 Ⅰ에서는 오적산박에 당밀을 0, 0.5 및 1.0% 첨가하여 사일리지를 제조하였고, 실험 Ⅱ에서는 오적산박 사일리지의 기호성을 조사하기 위하여 9두의 우리나라 재래산양을 공시하여 당밀 첨가수준별 및 옥수수 사일리지와의 섭취량을 비교하였다. 실험 Ⅰ에서는 당밀의 첨가에 의하여 젖산함량이 유의하게 많아지고, pH와 낙산은 낮게 나타났다. 당밀의 첨가로 사일리지액의 유산균배지 배양시험에 있어 총균수는 증가하였고, 곰팡이 균주는 감소하였다. 그리고 당밀의 첨가에 따라 체외 건물 소실율이 증가하였다. 실험 Ⅱ에서는 당밀의 첨가가 사일리지 건물섭취량에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못 하였으며, 오적산박 사일리지는 옥수수 사일리지에 비하여 기호성이 좋았다. 결론적으로 오적산박 사일리지에 대한 당밀의 첨가수준은 1% 정도면 품질을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 체외 소화율도 개선할 수 있다고 생각된다.

Two experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of probiotics on the malodor removal. In experiment 1, dietary effects (several malodorous gas concentration of excreta, dry matter metabolizability, and blood profiles) were determined using laying hens. A total of 30 Hy-line brown layers, 68-wk of age, were randomly allocated into 5 groups with 3 replicates of 2 birds each. The treatments were probiotics free, 0.2% and 0.4 % addition of mixed probiotics ( Bacillus subtilis PNG-4 + Lactobacillus acidophilus LAS), and 0.2 and 0.4 % addition of single probiotics ( Bacillus subtilis PNG-4). In experiment 2, the effects of mixing of probiotics into the excreta on the malodorous gas removal was investigated. There were three treatments (probiotics free, Bacillus subtilis PNG-4 + Lactobacillus acidophilus LAS, and Bacillus subtilis PNG-4) with three replicates. The malodorous gas concentrations were detected at 0, 3, 7 and 14 day of incubation. In experiment 1, ammonia concentration was significantly decreased by feeding mixed probiotics at 14th day of incubation. However, amines, hydrogen sulfide, ethylmercapthan, and methylmercapthan were not significantly affected by mixed probiotics. Dry matter metabolizability was significantly increased by feeding probiotics, but no significant differences between single and mixed probiotics. There was no significant differences in blood profiles. In experiment 2, mixing of probiotics into the excreta did not affect the concentration of ammonia, amines, hydrogen sulfide, ethylmercapthan, and methylmercapthan. Therefore, these experiments suggested that Bacillus subtilis PNG-4 + Lactobacillus acidophilus LAS supplementations could improve ammonia gas removal, and dry matter metabolizability in layers. Also, decrease of ammonia concentration was higher in mixed probiotics group compare to the single probiotics group. On the other hand, mixing of probiotics into the excreta appeared not to be a useful method.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the quality of wild flowers and mixed wild flower silages. Silage materials employed ochardgrass and mixed wild flower (orchardgrass, white clover, Achillea sibirica Ledeb., Coreopsistinctoria Nutt., Rudbeckiabicolor Nutt., Centaureacyanus L.). Six kilograms of silage materials cut from each treatment were divided into 3 containers, packed by vacuum, and fermented for 40 days. The orchardgrass silage showed significantly higher contents of crude protein than that of mixed wild flower silage. But the neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber contents of orchardgrass silage were significantly lower than those of mixed wild flower silage. pH and butyric acid of orchardgrass silage were significantly lower than those of mixed wild flower silage, and significantly higher in lactic acid contents. It appears that water soluble carbohydrates needs to be supplemented, being grounded on the results above, into wild flower materials both with high fiber materials and with low substances which need lactic acid fermentation.
육미지황탕박을 이용한 TMR의 급여가 한우의 생산성에 미치는 영향

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of feeding TMR with or without Yukmijihwangtang meal silage on the growth performance, meat yield and quality of Hanwoo steers. Sixteen male Hanwoo steers in the late fattening period were randomly assigned to a control diet and Yukmijihwangtang meal diet, with eight heads per treatment. The supplementation of Yukmijihwangtang meal silage did not affect the feed conversion rate, ribeye area, and meat yield index of cold carcass of Hanwoo. Fat thickness of Hanwoo s loin obtained from silage supplementation was significantly lower than that of non-supplemented. Total grade in meat yield of Hanwoo from silage supplementation were higher than that of non-supplemented control. The supplementation of Yukmijihwangtang meal silage to Hanwoo decreased the marbling score significantly, but did not affect fat color, firmness, and maturity. Total grade of meat quality of Hanwoo with Yukmijihwangtang meal supplementation was lower than that of non-supplemented control. In conclusion, Yukmijihwangtang meal could be used as partial substitution (10%) in TMR for fattening cattle. However, it is considered that Yukmijihwangtang meal can be a useful feed for the periods of growing or early fattening than that of late fattening since it improved meat yield but decreased meat quality grade of Hanwoo steers.
