The anti-emetic effect of a 5-HT₃receptor antagonist, Ondaron, was compared with that of the approved ondansetron agent, Zofran® in the ferrets. Emesis was induced by single intraperitoneal injection of cisplatin 10 mg/kg, and Ondaron or Zofran® was injected intraperitoneally in a dose of 1.0 mg/ kg, respectively. Ondaron and Zofran® effectively antagonised the emetic response for 4 hours after injection. They significantly reduced the number of vomiting and retching, and prolonged the latency to the first episode. The anti-emetic effect of Ondaron was almost the equal to that of Zofran®. These results suggest that Ondaron is an effective anti-emetic agent against cisplatin-induced emesis, and its anti-emetic potency is similar to that of 5-HT₃receptor abtagonist, ZoJran®.

This thesis aims to find the correlation factors which influence to the self confidence or anxiety of middle school student in mathematics to reduce students anxiety and increase the confidence. The verification process was leaded by questionnaire for the middle school students to realize the purpose of the thesis and the result of the analysis showed that students who have showed lower confident feel higher anxiety on mathematics. Also the anxiety for test and attitude of teacher influenced to the confidence and anxiety on mathematics highly. So, the role of teacher was a major factor among many factors to release the anxiety on mathematics and give confidence for lower grade of middle school students. Among many elements of anxiety on mathematics, test anxiety was the first element to lose the confidence and parents and teacher may care for the student to reduce the test anxiety.

본 연구는 경북 영천시에 소재하고 있는 Y 중 학교 1, 2학년 학생 520명 중에서 연구자가 설정한 수학 학습부진아의 개념을 설명한 후 스스로 수학 학습지진아에 부합된다고 생각하는 학생 283명을 대상으로 설문지를 통하여 수학 학습부진아의 특성을 조사하여 수학 학습부진을 초래하는 요인을 분석하였다. Educations in school are mostly set based on the average mark of test results. As a matter of course, it brings on some students who cannot follow the contents, methods, and level of the lessons and therefore, fall behind. Due to the feature of the mathematics, there are a lot of students who disaprove of studying it. Mathematics is different from the other subjects in which students can get good scores more easily by memorization of the contents of lessons. It is a very difficult subject to improve in by using short-term memory, thus promotes less feelings of success and achievement. Therefore there are many cases in which students are afraid of studying mathematics and end up giving it up. In this paper, the cause of carrying slow learners in mathematics is examined and analyzed in other to support teaching methods for those progress along with its motives and reasons. The following case study of statistical research is implemented throughout a survey to 283 students in 1st who make poor and 2nd grades who are sorted out as slow learners out of 520 in total at ``Y`` Middle School in Yeongchun, Gyoungbuk province.

The acute toxicity of rHu-EPO, newly developed recombinant erythropoietin, was tested in beagle dogs. rHu-EPO, when administered intravenously at 25, 000 IU/kg, did not cause any death. Also, rHu-EPO did not induce any change of body weight, food intake and clinical signs compared to controls. There were no significant changes in hematological, urine analysis and pathological examination. These results showed that rHu-EPO did not induce any remarkable toxic response and the $LD_50$ was greater than 25, 000 IU/kg in beagle dogs.
