본 연구는 선행연구를 통해 제시된 레크리에이션 전문화 과정 모형이 한국의 스키 참여자들에 적용될 수 있는 지 검토하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 국내 스키 참여자들의 레크리에이션 전문화 과정을 체계적으로 구성하는데 그 목적이 있다. 스키 활동에 있어서 레크리에이션 전문화를 다양한 수준으로 경험한 연구참여자들을 대상으로 개별면담과 집단면담을 실시하고 면담의 내용을 전사하여 내용분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 레크리에이션 전문화의 구성 단계를 도출하였으며, 각 단계를 모형으로 구조화하여 제시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 선행연구를 통해 제안된 레크리에이션 전문화 과정은 스키 참여자들이 경험하는 레크리에이션 전문화 과정 유사하나 구체적인 단계의 구성과 내용에서 차이가 있다. 스키 참여자의 레크리에이션 전문화는 관심, 진입, 유지, 전환경험, 활성, 쇠퇴의 6개 단계로 구성되며, 레크리에이션 전문화 과정에서 전환경험과 활성현상은 레크리에이션 전문화의 수준 향상에 결정적인 작용을 한다. 6개 전문화 구성 단계를 시간의 흐름에 따라 순서대로 재구성한 결과, 레크리에이션 전문화에서 전환경험과 활성을 통한 전문화 수준의 향상 과정은 반복적으로 나타날 수 있으며, 이는 순환모형의 형태로 제시할 수 있다. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the recreational specialization process model proposed in the preceding study can be applied to the ski participants in Korea and to organize the recreation specialization process of ski participants on the basis of the results. A personal interview and a group interview for the participants who experienced various levels of recreation specialization in skiing activities were conducted, and the content analysis was performed. Through this process, the stages of recreation specialization are derived and each step was structured as a model. The results of the study were as follows. The proposed recreation specialization process was similar to the recreation specialization process experienced by skiers, but they differ in the composition and content of the concrete steps. Recreation specialization of skiers consists of six stages of interest, entry, maintenance, turning point, activation, and decline. In the course of recreation specialization, turning point and activation phenomenon play a decisive role in improving the level of recreation specialization. As a result of reconstructing the 6 specialization stages in sequence according to the passage of time, the process of improving the specialization level through the conversion experience and activity in the recreation specialization can be repeated and presented in the form of a circulation model.
