The purpose of this study is to develop a highly-efficient and compact steam reformer for PEMFC changing the burner types. For the purpose some of the Can type flat burners were adopted and the results were compared with 'O' company's typical cylinderical flat burner. We used commercial STAR-CD tools for numerical calculation. We found the optimum Can type STR burner and this type of burner was highly efficient comparing with typical burner.

The purpose of this study is to develop a high efficient steam reforming system for fuel cell system. As the reforming reaction on steam reforming system is endothermic reaction, sufficient heat need to be supplied for steady reforming reaction. And the burner is usually installed for sufficient heat. In this paper, various combustion gas flow type applied for heat supply and the thermal result on surface of steam reformer was predicted by CFD.

PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) is a low temperature fuel cells which are high efficient and clean energy. But it has many problems like economical efficiency or durability. Because of this reason, many researchers challenge various view points. One of challenge is the flow channel design and many researchers develop new flow channel design. In addition to most of them have the anode and cathode's flow channel overlapped almost perfectly. In this case, the electrochemical reaction is almost done by the inertial force of flow. So we study on the effect of the anode and cathode's flow channel which aren't overlapped perfectly, have more diffusion effect, to PEMFC performance using CFD.

Recently a certain level is required in natural ventilation for improving on the 'quality' aspect in housing. It is simulated the external flow around building which affact natural ventilation using CFD. Natural ventilation is estimated on the specific household which considered topography and not considered.
