Pulmonary embolism appears to be a very rare complication of arthroscopic knee surgery. Most cases of pulmonary embolism have been clinically silent in the literature. We describe a case of symptomatic pulmonary embolism after arthroscopic partial menisectomy in 40-year-old male patient.

A 34-year-old man with ACL total rupture due to slip down injury, had received ACL reconstruction using autogenous hamstrings tendon with cross-pin femoral fixation. Postoperative course was as usual. But postoperative 3 months later, he complained posterolateral knee pain, recurrent effusion and mild instability. He was managed repeatitive aspiration and nonsteroid antiinflammatory drugs but was failed to relieve symptoms & signs. In CT scans, perforation of posteromedial femoral cortex of lateral femoral condyle was found. In second look arthroscopy, two pieces of broken femoral cross pin were found in between tibiofemoral Joint which was badly injured cartilage. We considered malposition of pins was the main cause of failure. We propose that femoral tunnel must be made more acute angle and femoral cross-pin guide must be positioned more external rotation 10-20 degree than transepicondylar axis made confirm the cross-pin tunnel position in order to avoid posterior cortex perforation and early failure.

As arthroscopy is more advanced and the importance of meniscal function is more emphasized, there have been more advanced en meniscal repair technique. However conventional technique require the use of special instruments and extensive skin incision to protect the neurovasculatures and soft tissues. Also these have the potential problem of damage in articular surfaces by the knot. So, we develop a modified outside-in technique using spinal needles and nylon loops. Our method have many advantages not only in stability but simplicity, and there is no need of additional skin incision.
녹용(Cornu cervi parvum)약침이 흰쥐의 혈액성상과 항산화능에 미치는 영향

Objectives : To investigate the effects of Cornu cervi parvum pharmacopuncture with regard to the blood picture and antioxidative activity in rats. Methods : Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups (n=5 each) and were treated with Cornu cervi parvum pharmacopuncture every other day for 2 weeks. The groups are classified as follows; normal control without treatment (control group), Cornu cervi parvum pharmacopuncture at CV4 (CV4 group), and Cornu cervi parvum pharmacopuncture at BL23 (BL23 group). Thereafter, the blood and liver samples were obtained for blood analysis and superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity measurement. Results : Cornu cervi parvum pharmacopuncture groups showed higher values of red blood cell count and plasma cell volume compared with those of the control (p<0.05). However, hemoglobin level showed no significant differences among groups. With regard to the blood picture, plasma concentration in total protein and albumin showed no significant differences in pharmacopuncture groups, while higher ratio of albumin/globulin was observed in CV4 group. White blood cell counts and its composition showed no significant differences among groups. Pharmacopuncture groups showed higher values in SOD, CAT, and GSH-Px activities compared with those of control group. Conclusions : Cornu cervi parvum pharmacopuncture alleviates oxidative activities in rats.
사례분석을 통한 국내 2PL 및 3PL 물류기업의 개선전략에 관한 연구

In order to promote the efficiency and development of 2PL and 3PL, cases of foreign and logistics companies in South Korea were compared and analyzed, and policy implications and plans for the improvement of the logistics industry were suggested in search of improvements in the current system. Design/Methodology/Approach As for the research method, in-depth face-to-face interviews were conducted for executive-level employees working at 2PL and 3PL companies and reporters who has been working for a magazine specializing in logistics for more than 10 years, has professional insights into the overall situation. In addition, 2PL and 3PL companies were analyzed using both SWOT analysis and multiple-comparison case study. Findings Four improvement measures were proposed for the development of 2PL and 3PL. In order to improve 2PL and 3PL in South Korea, the following improvements must be made: the excellent logistics company certification system, the formation of a cooperative relationship between the logistics company and the shipper, the government’s reorganization of the system for standardization of logistics, the introduction of tax credit for long-term contracts. Research Implications This study presents the results of thinking about the ways to grow together both 2PL and 3PL in Korea. Although existing literature has tended to analyze 2PL and 3PL, respectively, or empirical research based on theoretical questionnaires, this study attempted to present a suggestions to improve common problems by integrating them.

본 연구는 조그만 화물 포워딩에서 시작하여 ‘팬스타 코리아 랜드 브릿지’라는 한ㆍ중ㆍ일 동북아 3국간의 물류 루트를 개척하고 한 국에서는 유일무이(唯一無二)하게 크루즈업에 근거를 두고 연안 크루즈를 운항하면서 창립 30주년을 맞이한 팬스타(Panstar)를 다루 고 있다. 중국과의 ‘사드 여파’ 이후 많은 어려움을 겪었던 페리ㆍ크루즈를 포함한 여객선 부문은 ‘코로나19’ 사태로 인해 컨테이너선 ㆍ벌크선ㆍ가스선 등 다른 선종보다 심각한 타격을 받고 있다. 한국에서 크루즈는 팬스타 외에는 실제로 현장에서 플레이어(Player)로 참여하는 기업도 없으며 시장에 진출한 기업들의 수익 창출이 어렵고 법과 제도의 미비점과 카지노를 둘러싼 다양한 이해관계자의 입 장도 상충하여 ‘활성화’ 이전에 기본적인 산업의 ‘정상화’가 필요한 상황이다. 글로벌 크루즈 여행이 점차 대중화되고 있고 LNG 크루 즈 추진선 증가 속에 한국해운의 다각화와 조선ㆍ항만ㆍ관광 등 산업생태계의 외연 확장을 위해서 부가가치가 높은 여객선 사업의 정 상화는 긴요하다. 척박한 크루즈를 장기적인 안목에서 다양한 이해관계자들과 협력하여 차별화된 한국형 엔터테인먼트를 발굴해야 한 다. 그리고 국민의 적은 관심을 개선하기 위한 홍보 강화와 관광 욕구를 충족시키는 세밀한 손님 모집 영업과 함께 한국을 모항으로 하 는 국제 크루즈 선사를 유치하는 등 종합적인 수요 창출 전략이 필요하다. 이를 통해 크루즈를 포함한 여객선 부문을‘산업 공유자산 (industrial commons)' 차원에서 정부ㆍ지자체ㆍ선사ㆍ협력업체들이 연계하여 자체적인 산업 전환 능력을 키워 더 많은 팬스타가 국 내에 출현 되어야 할 것이다. 팬스타의 사례는 한국 크루즈 시장에 참가하고 있는 업체이며 동북아 복합운송 물류 체제를 현장에서 실 현하는 기업을 다룸으로써 해운 물류 산업 경쟁력 제고에 시사점을 제공한다는 측면에서 그 의미가 있다. This study deals with Panstar, which started with small freight forwarding, pioneered the logistics route between Korea, China and Japan, and entered the cruise industry for the first time in Korea. The passenger ship industry including ferries and cruises which had suffered a lot after the aftermath of THAAD issue raised by China government has been hit harder than other ship types such as container ships, bulk ships, and gas ships due to the COVID 19. Until recently, in the Korean cruise industry, there were no companies other than Panstar that actually participated as key players in the field. The reason for this is as follows. First, it is difficult for companies that have entered the market to generate profits. Second, the laws and systems surrounding the cruise industry are still incomplete, so there are many things to supplement. Third, the positions of various stakeholders surrounding the casino are conflicting. Therefore, the Korean cruise industry needs industrial normalization before activation. In order to diversify Korean shipping amid the gradual popularization of global cruise travel and an increase in LNG cruise propulsion ships and to expand the industrial ecosystem such as shipbuilding, ports, and tourism, it is imperative to normalize the high value-added passenger ship business. From a long-term perspective on unfertile cruises, it is necessary to cooperate with various stakeholders to discover differentiated Korean hardware contents. In addition, there is a need for a comprehensive demand-creation strategy to attract international cruise carriers based in Korea, along with reinforcing publicity to improve the public interest and recruiting passengers to meet tourism needs. Through this, the government, local governments, shipping companies, and business partners should link the passenger ship sector including cruises from the level of industrial commons to develop their own industrial transformation capabilities; thus, more Panstar-like companies should be fostered in Korea. Panstar's case is meaningful in that it provides implications for enhancing the competitiveness of the shipping logistics industry by dealing with a company participating in the Korean cruise market and realizing the Northeast Asian multimodal transport logistics system on-site.
3PL과의 제휴역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향: 파트너의 협업역량을 매개효과를 중심으로

Since the first half of 2020 when COVID-19 occurred, the structure of partnerships between companies participating in the logistics industry has undergone a rapid change. As the competitiveness of offline stores has relatively been weakened, the non-face-to-face sales volume and demand for small and frequent quantities increased, and the incentive contract type was reorganized from individual-oriented to collective and gain-sharing systems, the imporatnce of 3PL companies is growing even more due to the generalization of competitive bidding. The purpose of this study is to verify the research question on how the partnership capability between 3PL and shipper companies can promote the reinforcement of dyadic collaborative competency and increased market performance (MP) through commitment and competence (COM), information collaboration (INFO_C), operation collaboration (OPER_C). Although the business ecosystem surrounding logistics is constantly fostering the need for alliances, partnerships can be recognized as a benefit to each other only when they can achieve the expected outcomes rather than merely exchanging the competencies required. In this regard, this study conducted a hypothesis test through PLS-SEM (partial least square-structural equation modeling) using a survey composed of 3PL and logistic companies participating in the partnership for about four months from September 2020 to December 2020. Based on the list of 130 companies participating in the 3PL partnership in South Korea, 100 valid samples were obtained through an online survey. As a result, COM as a partnership capability between 3PL and shippers positively affected both INFO_C and OPER_C. Moreover, both INFO_C and OPER_C had a positive effect on MP while the relationship between INFO_C and OPER_C was also positively confirmed. These results show that if the relationship between the shipper and 3PL is formed in a trust-based cooperative network derived by reflecting the characteristics of each other and by collaborating operation and information, the outcome can go beyond the contractual binding of traditional logistics outsourcing. 코로나19가 발생한 2020년 상반기 이후, 물류산업에 참여하고 있는 기업 간 제휴 구조는 급격한 변화를 맞이하고 있다. 오프라인 매장의 경쟁력이 상대적으로 약해지면서 비대면 판매량과 소량ㆍ다빈도 물량 수요가 증가하고 개인성과 위주에서 집단성과 배분 제도(Gain-Sharing)로 계약형태가 정비되었고 경쟁입찰의 일반화로 인해 3PL 기업의 중요성은 더욱 커지고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 3PL 기업을 통해 3P과 화주 업체들이 제휴역량을 중심으로 몰입과 역량, 정보ㆍ운영 협력을 매개로 역량 강화 및 성과 창출을 도모할 수 있다는 연구질문을 검증하고자 한다. 물류를 둘러싼 기업 생태계는 내부 성장의 한계, 경영효율 추구, 새로운 물류기술의 적용과 서비스 확대로 상호 간 업무제휴의 필요성은 지속해서 증가하고 있으나 제휴를 통해 단순히 서로에게 요구되는 역량을 교환하는 것이 아닌 각자가 기대하는 성과를 달성할 수 있어야 한다. 이러한 점에서 본 연구는 2020년 9월부터 2020년 12월까지 약 4개월에 걸쳐 3PL 업체 및 물류 파트너십을 구성하고 있는 기업들을 대상으로 설문조사하여 PLS-SEM을 통해 가설검증을 시행하였다. 3PL에 참여하는 130개 기업 목록을 토대로 온라인 설문을 통해 유효한 100개 표본을 획득하여 연구 가설의 실증분석한 결과, 3PL 기업과 화주의 제휴역량이 정(+)의 영향을 미치며 정보와 운영 협업 사이의 관계를 유의미하게 매개하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과는 단순한 외주 물량의 아웃소싱이 아닌 화주와 3PL 기업 사이의 긴밀한 네트워크 관계 구성, 상호 간 특징을 살린 정보 및 업무 공동운영, 공동의 목표를 향한 체계적인 제휴역량이 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 시사점을 제시하고 있다.
