        지르코니아-유리복합체용 글래스의 조성에서 MgO의 함량 변화가 강도에 미치는 영향

        The quantity of MgO in the Zirconia of 20wt% Frit has been varied and the sintering temperature has been differentiated to monitor the changes in the mechanical features. The rise of sintering temperature from 1100$^{\circ}C$ to 1300$^{\circ}C$ was followed by higher sintering density. And, at a sintering temperature, the increase of the quantity of MgO was followed by lower sintering density. The bending strength has been lowered as the quantity of MgO increases in the Zirconia of 20wt% Frit, which seems to be because the MgO functions as impurities degrading the mechanical features. In terms of micro-structure analysis, the pore has been greatly enlarged, while the density varied very little, when the MgO of 3wt% was added. The size of pore became smaller as the added quantity of MgO increased larger in the sequence of 5wt% and 7wt%. But, the pore-generating rate became higher as the added quantity of MgO increased in the sequence of 3wt%, 5wt% and 7wt%. Thus, it is possible to summarize that the small quantity of MgO, say, of 3wt%, promotes the grain growth, and the large quantity of MgO, say, of 7wt%, hinders the grain growth. Also, if the quantity of MgO exceeds some level, the MgO hinders substances from moving, which, ultimately, keeps blowholes from becoming enlarged or extinct, and makes pores small and dispersed in broad area. In conclusion, the study on the change in the size of pore shows that the larger the quantity of MgO is, the more the micro pores are, thereby degrading the mechanical features.

        Spring의 lumen size와 helical coil 형성 위치 변화가 교정력에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to impact of force system change in finger spring that add helical coil one round on orthodontic force. Methods: The following conclusions were drawn from the experiment conducted after bending 90 samples with a CNC wire forming machine while changing the height and lumen size to 1mm - 3mm - 5mm and 2mm - 3mm - 4mm respectively in the coil of the force system in finger spring added with one wheel of helical coil of 18-8 stainless steel round wire (${\Phi}0.5mm$, spring hard) from Jinsung Co. in domestic market under the following conditions: Laboratory name = Instron 5942; Temperature($deg^{\circ}C$) = 18.00; Humidity(%) = 50.00; Rate 1 = 10.00000 mm/min; Compressive extension = 5.0mm. Results: When Coil height is 1, 3, 5mm and lumen size is 2, 3, 4mm reduce finger spring as mean value of compressive extension occasion maximum load(mN) increases as coil height rises, and lumen size grows to 5.0mm. And was expose that compressive load(mN) increases as coil position of finger spring rises and increase as lumen size is decrescent. Conclusion: As the adherence height of coil was raised from 1mm through 3mm to 5mm, compressive load increased. As the lumen size increased from 2mm through 3mm to 4mm, compressive load decreased. Therefore, these results suggest that it is desirable to lower the coil height and enlarge the lumen size to enhance the biomechanical efficiency of finger spring when manufacturing the finger spring for removable orthodontic devices.

        $Fr{\ddot{a}}nkel$의 Functional Regulator II 제작

        $Fr{\ddot{a}}nkel$ functional regulator have a complicated design and are of a big bulk. This makes not only the construction of appliance but also the adaption of a patient to the appliance very difficult. Therefore, orthodontic laboratory technicians should be well acquainted with the sequential fabrication procedures involved in the construction of Frankel functional regulators and construct a type most suitable for a specific patient of malocclusion. There are various types of Frankel appliances. Detailed construction procedures of FR II are described here below, which can also be applied for other types for FR appliances.

        치과교정용 wire 납착시 가열온도의 변화가 제특성에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : To understand the impact on the strength or restoration force by the change of heating temperature when soldering 18-8 stainless steel round wire which is the chrome-nickel class for dental orthodontic device production. Methods : The following conclusions were made upon the results from tensile strength test, 3 point bending test, and $90^{\circ}$ bending fatigue test with 24 samples that had been applied with condition 1 (before heat treatment - natural) and condition 2 (after heat treatment - mooring 30 seconds after heating up to $500^{\circ}C$, $700^{\circ}C$, and $900^{\circ}C$) to ${\phi}0.4mm$, ${\phi}0.7{\beta}mm$, 18-8 stainless steel round wire (spring hard) by Jinsung Company. Results : When it was heat-treated at $900^{\circ}C$, both ${\phi}0.4mm$ and ${\phi}0.7mm$ showed very low tensile strengths compared to the heat treated cases at $500^{\circ}C$ and $700^{\circ}C$ Yield strengths of both ${\phi}0.4mm$ and ${\phi}0.7mm$ showed very low compared to the heat treated cases at natural, $500^{\circ}C$, and $700^{\circ}C$, as well. Upon the results of 3 point bending test, the heat treated case at $900^{\circ}C$ showed very low in both ${\phi}0.4mm$ and ${\phi}0.7mm$, compared to the heat treated cases at natural, $500^{\circ}C$, and $700^{\circ}C$. Tensile strength of both ${\phi}0.4mm$ and ${\phi}0.7mm$ as well, showed very low compared to the heat treated cases at natural, $500^{\circ}C$, and $700^{\circ}C$. Upon the results of $90^{\circ}$ bending fatigue test, the heat treated case at $900^{\circ}C$ showed the highest wave node resistance in both ${\phi}0.4mm$ and ${\phi}0.7mm$. Conclusion : This study concluded that heating temperature change during wire soldering impacts on the characteristics of orthodntic wire.

      • 열화상 카메라를 이용한 검도 동작의 온도 특성 분석 기초 연구

        The purpose of this study is to visually confirm on variation of temperature changes according to the basic of Kumdo by using infrared rays camera and to obtain the difference of temperature distribution according to the warm up procedure. We selected randomly two Kumdo players, and recorded twice continuously their actions of three basic(Head Hitting, Wrist Hitting, Waist Hitting) motions of Kumdo. In other to obtain the effect of warm up procedure, we recorded again their actions including warm-up motions. Four measuring points on the body were selected in each motion considering the error on continuous recoding. Temperature distributions of the before and after warming up procedure were analyzed at two measuring point. Skin temperature distributions of the players's body in two cases are shown a similar tendency. It can be predicted that the parts of large physical movement result in the large changes of temperature according to the warm up motion.

        POE 오일 나노유체의 열물성과 분산성 평가를 위한 실험적 연구

        To apply the nanofluids into the general vapor compression cycle, basically have to know the thermal properties including thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity. And needs to show the dispersion characteristics for various nanofluids and concentrations. So, firstly this study showed experimentally the thermal properties for various concentration (0.1%~0.7%, as mass balance) and temperature(20℃~40℃) on Al₂O₃, TiO₂ and CuO nanofluids using base fluid as POE oil that has used in the scroll compressor for various refrigeration system. From the results, the dynamic viscosity of nanofluids was considerably changed from the base POE oil. And, the dispersion characteristics of various nanofluids using the simple methods like as analyzing the RGB value or measuring the sinking height of nanofluids were showed experimentally. Through the results, the dispersion characteristics of Al₂O₃, nanofluid was better than those of TiO₂, and CuO nanofluids not considering the real refrigeration cycle running conditions.

      • 미래형 자동차 냉동사이클 효율 향상을 위한 실험장치 개발

        Two experimental apparatus, for measuring the COP of air-conditioning cycle and estimating the reliabilities applying the nano-fluids into the cycle, were designed and made. The air-conditioning cycle components in the apparatus are purchased like as YF hybrid model. The apparatus for measuring the COP of air-conditioning cycle is designed to measure the compressor power and evaporator heat capacity. So, the compressor power will measure using power meter and the evaporator heat capacity have to measure the inlet-outlet temperature, pressure, and mass flow rate using the flow meter. And the nano-fluids to apply the cycle were chosen as Al203, TiO2, and CuO. So, the apparatus for estimating the reliabilities applying the nano-fluids into the cycle was consisted of 4 cycles, respectively for base and three nano-fluids. The 2<SUP>nd</SUP> apparatus will operate during about 2.2 years to reveal the performance characteristics including compressor power and running results, temperature and pressure.
