This article contains a review together with some considerations concerning studies on identity of midlife women, centering around the studies on adult development. Recently, midlife women is regarded as a period of development with the changes of life-cycle and life styles. However, the history of the studies of generativity vs. stagnation in the midlife women is comparatively short. Mainly, Epigenetic Scheme by Erikson(1950) bulit a theretical base for the study on adult development. and It was shown that the subjective engagement in important psychological abd social respects in adult including job or childcare was important in obtainment of identity as well as life style. It seems that these subjective selection and active engagement are very important in identity and growth in adult. The following points are suggested by the above mentioned studies: 1. there is a common developmental process in adult life. 2. It is also odserved that there are some critical periods in psychological development such as middle age crisis and adult transition. On the other hand, the developmental studies on adult identity is gradually increasing from 1980. The above studies reveal some important view points psychological changes in adulthood in its totality.

Repeated restraint stress promotes hippocampal neuronal cell ciliogenesis and proliferation in mice

Stress severely disturbs physiological and mental homeostasis which includes adult neurogenesis in hippocampus. Neurogenesis in hippocampus is a key feature to adapt to environmental changes and highly regulated by multiple cellular signaling pathways. The primary cilium is a cellular organelle, which acts as a signaling center during development and neurogenesis in adult mice. However, it is not clear how the primary cilia are involved in the process of restraint (RST) stress response. Using a mouse model, we examined the role of primary cilia in repeated and acute RST stress response. Interestingly, RST stress increased the number of ciliated cells in the adult hippocampal dentate gyrus (DG). In our RST model, cell proliferation in the DG also increased in a time-dependent manner. Moreover, the analysis of ciliated cells in the hippocampal DG with cell type markers indicated that cells that were ciliated in response to acute RST stress are neurons. Taken together, these findings suggest that RST stress response is closely associated with an increase in the number of ciliated neurons and leads to an increase in cell proliferation.

In Korea there exists a cultural mindset referred to by Koreans as Contucianism. Confucianism is a set of beliefs held by most Koreans, regardless of religious persuasion or social strata. For example, Koreans place greater value on the birth of a boy versus the birth of a girl. These beliefs are pervasive throughout Korean thought and play a significant role in the way women's health care is constructed and conceptualized. Today, however, women's ideas about Confucianism are changing as a result of exposure to Western cultures. This is especially evident in the women's role in the family. In Korea, women's health is provided primarily by nurses. It is, therefore, an important issue for Korean nursing. Feminist theory has been used as a guide in many societies for the structuring and development of women's issues including women's health care. Korean nurses need to understand the role of feminist theory and Korean culture in women's health care to be able to offer effectual nursing care to women. The purpose of this study is to discuss the interplay between feminist theory, women's health, and Korean modern culture or Confucianism. First, a description of different feminist theories is provided, including: early feminist theory, liberal feminist theory, social feminist theory, cultural feminist theory and radical feminist theory. Second, the historical relationship between nursing and feminist theory is discussed. Third, the positive and negative effects of Korean culture on women's health are considered and the relationship between culture, feminist theory and women's health is examined. Fourth, alternative methods of providing women's health care in a culturally sensitive manner from a feminist theory framework are suggested.

제조기업 작업환경 개선을 위한 색채맵 시뮬레이션 서비스디자인 적용 효과

Workers in the examination department of manufacturing companies were reported to have psychological fatigability from visual fatigability than physical one, followed by higher job distresses, low job satisfaction, and high defective ratio. Test measure was developed for extracting color profile of basic database information applied in work environment. And emotion-based color psychology test measure and color guide map were developed for decreasing distresses in human resources and fraction defective ratio in manufacturing corporations. The purposes of this study were to make an application of color map simulation service system and to test the effects of its applications to production lines in a manufacturing corporate. For the usability test of color map simulation service design, the procedure has three stages of preferred color test (the 1st stage), color psychology type test (the 2nd stage), and individual information input (the 3rd stage), and the tested results are mapped as recommended color combination of actual work places. The test aimed to confirm statistically significant improvement in workers' stresses and fraction defectives between pre- & post-mapping. 11 workers examining extruded products in an automobile-part corporation were selected through simple random sampling for the test. The research found the significant productivity improvement by increasing psychological health level and lowering fraction defective ratio with the application of color map simulation service system. With these results, the study concluded that the color map simulation service design should enhance the competence of the manufacturing corporations and the realm of human resources and market-oriented knowledge industry. 제조기업 부품업체 사출공정 검사라인에 근무하는 작업자는 육체적 피로도보다 시각적 피로도에서 오는 정신적 피로도가 타부서에 비해 높아 정신적 근무 스트레스, 근무만족도 저하, 불량률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 색채맵 시뮬레이션 서비스 디자인은 감정기반 색채심리 검사도구와 색채가이드맵으로 인적자원의 스트레스를 감소시키고 제조업체의 불량률을 감소시키기 위한 것으로 개발된 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 색채맵 시뮬레이션 서비스 디자인을 제조업의 생산라인에 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는데 있다. 색채맵 시뮬레이션 서비스 디자인의 사용성 평가를 위해 선호색채테스트(1단계), 색채심리유형테스트(2단계), 개인정보입력(3단계)로 진행되며 테스트 분석 및 시뮬레이션 결과 실제 작업공간에 추천배색으로 맵핑된다. 검증은 맵핑 전과 후에 있어서 작업자들의 스트레스와 불량률에 있어서 통계적으로 유의한 개선이 있는지를 확인하는 것이다. 개발 적용된 도구의 효과의 검증을 위해서 자동차부품회사 사출공정라인의 검수자들 중 11명 무선표집방식에 의해 선발되었다. 조사검증 결과, 색채맵 시뮬레이션 서비스 디자인의 적용으로 스트레스를 감소시켜 심리적 건강 상태를 향상시키고 불량률을 낮춤으로써 유의한 생산성 향상 효과가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과들에 비추어, 본 연구는 색채맵 시뮬레이션 서비스 디자인이 기업경쟁력을 높이고 인적자원과 시장지향의 지식산업의 영역을 확장할 수 있음을 제시하였다.

A growing interest in women's health has been expending to various area and brought about of important issues and invested disciplines. In this article, It was introduced and discussed about $quot;Women and Health: In Search of a Paradigm$quot; by Chesney & Ozer and also Trippet and Bryson's $quot;A Model of Women's Health Nursing$quot; Chesney and Ozer proposed a framework to serve as a guide for organizing seven themes and integrating competing approach to the field of women's health. Trippet and Bryson developed a holistic model of women's health. The model is based on women's conscious awareness of problems existing in eight identified categories. Research for the women's health will conducted in multidisciplinary approach about women's unique experience and illness through the women's life span. Women's health practitioner have to practice $quot;woman centered practice$quot; which respects and concerns with women's right, knowledge and autonomy as well as focused health promotion and well being. Medical and nursing curriculum have to include extended issues and problems about women's health.

델파이분석을 통한 장애⋅위험군학생의 5KC-생애핵심역량 강화교육 활성화 과제탐색

본 연구의 목적은 장애·위험군학생의 생애핵심역량 강화교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 내용구성요소의 타당성을 검증하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 관련 전문지식과 최소 5년 이상 교육경력이 있는 전문가 30명이 참여하였고 델파이 조사분석을 실시하였다. 델파이 분석 결과, 생활관리역량, 대인관계역량, 생애학습역량, 진로개발역량, 세계시민성역량의 5개 대영역과 12개의 하위영역, 그리고 28개의 세부 과제에 대한 구성요소가 도출되었다. 이는 생애핵심역량의 각 영역에 대한 논의를 통해 각 영역별 활성화과제를 위한 구성요소를 도출한 것이다. 본 연구는 장애·위험군학생의 생애핵심역량 강화교육 분야에서 현재 중요성과 시급성이 요구되는 과제들을 탐색하였고, 발전방안에 필요한 구성요소들을 제시함으로써 향후 장애·위험군학생의 생애핵심역량 강화를 위한 측정도구 및 교육 프로그램 계획·실행을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. The purpose of this study was to verify the validity of content components to develop an education program to strengthen life core competencies of disabled and at-risk students. For this purpose, 30 experts with relevant expertise and at least 5 years of educational experience participated and a Delphi survey analysis was conducted. As a result of the Delphi analysis, components for 5 major areas, 12 sub-areas, and 28 detailed tasks were derived: life management competency, interpersonal relationship competency, lifelong learning competency, career development competency, and global citizenship competency. This is a discussion of each area of ​​core life competencies, and the components for detailed activation tasks for each area were derived. This study explored tasks that currently require importance and urgency in the field of education to strengthen the life core competencies of students with disabilities and at-risk groups, and presented the components necessary for development plans to provide a measurement tool for strengthening the core life competencies of students with disabilities and at-risk groups in the future. and to provide basic data for planning and implementing educational programs.

여성건강에 대한 개념분석 연구

In order to help the theory development for $quot;women health$quot;, and to apply to the women client care, the concept analysis of $quot;women health$quot; was done. According to the concept analysis method by Walker & Avant, the characters of concept $quot;women health$quot; were analyzed from literature. The results were as followings : First, it emphasizes reproductive focused health care(childbirth-oriented) and normal development process regarded as abnomal. Second, it is affected by cultural environment. Third, it is related with sex. Forth, it considers the human, feminine and maternal aspects. Fifth, it needs woman-centered nursing approach to promote woman's quality of life. Sixth, it stresses not only wholistic human health promotion but also the harmony between human and environment. Seventh, it is needed to be considered woman's various experiences as important and it approaches phenomenogically and interdisciplinary. Eighth, it needed to understandes person-situation interactional aspect. Ninth, it can promote the adaptation power to surrounding environment. Above results can elucidate the concept of $quot;women health$quot;, and will be a basis of theory development of $quot;women health$quot;. In practical nursing, these results will be a basis for the promotion of women health and for the increase of life quality.
