The spermathecae of 12 species under 9 genera, 2 subfamilies of the Coreidae from Korea were compared morphologically. The spermathecae of the Coreidae are remarkably varied for the subfamilies and genera. The bulb of the Pseudophloeinae is elongte oval-shaped and opened laterally to the spermathecal duct. Hygia and Colpura of the Coreinae have a globular spermathecal bulb, short convoluted duct and membraneous duct, but there are no dilated portion of the duct. The most species of the Coreidae except Coriomeris, Hygia and Colpura, have a well-developed convoluted duct, but there are characteristic differences in the bulbs, membraneous ducts and dilated ducts, accordingly, they are divided into 3 groups: the 1st group of globular bulb and large membraneous duct which is characteristic in regular coil, the 2nd group of comparatively small terminal bulb, extremely long membraneous duct, and moderately dilated duct, and the 3rd group of kidney-shaped bulb and distinct dilated duct.

The Spermathecae of 8 species under the Alydidae and Rhopalidae of Coreoidea from Korea were morphologically compared and analyzed the relationships for the levels of the genera and families including 12 sepcies of Coreidae. Spermathecal forms of Alydidae are tubular basically, but the terminal portion represents a tendency to enlarge in a hook-shaped and a banana-shaped form. The Rhopalidae are characterized by the globular spermathecal bulb and convoluted duct, but middle duct is dilated very slightly or not at all. It is proposed that 20 species of the Coreoidea are graded in 5 groups according to spermathecal structures and the developing degrees and arranged in the numbered order. The group 1 is the most primitive, and the group 4 and 5 are respectively advanced in different factor-combinations.
