As the main stream of electronic commerce changes from B2C to B2B, the importance of a strategic web site design is being recognized more than ever. In this sense, this study proposes a new approach to an adaptive design of the web site by using the stratified fuzzy cognitive map (FCM). Its main virtue lies in capability of changing specific components on the web site with its subsequent effects upon other components being objectively considered. By doing so, we can maintain total effectiveness of the website design. This advantage of the proposed approach can be compared with the traditional approach where the web site design has been changed without paying a due attention to the related components. We gathered 134 questionnaire responses. By analysing the questionnaire results, the causal weights of the FCM were computed objectively. Then the FCM was transformed into a stratified FCM by using Lee & Cho (1998)`s approach. On the basis of the stratified FCM and four scenarios, we performed web site design simulation. The simulation results showed that the proposed approach could be used effectively for analyzing the web site design in an adaptive manner when the market situation is changing.

As the advent of the Internet, B2B negotiation process on the Internet has been given attention from both researchers and practitioners. However, literature still shows that only structured conditions have been explicitly considered, despite the fact that unstructured conditions should be rendered as well. In this sense, this paper proposes a new negotiation support mechanism to incorporate causal relationships between structured and unstructured conditions in the process of B2B negotiation. Fuzzy cognitive map was used as a main source of causal knowledge as well causal inference engine. A prototype named CAKES-NEGO was developed to perform experiments with an illustrative example. Results revealed the robustness of our proposed negotiation support mechanism.

지식베이스에 근거한 의사결정 츄리(decision tree)를 이용하여 시계열 패턴을 ARMA 모형으로 인식하는 새로운 접근 방법을 제시한다. 본 시스템은 패턴평가, 츄리검색 및 최종모델결정등 세개의 지식 베이스를 갖추고 있다. 퍼지(fuzzy) 개념에 기초한 검색 알고리즘 (search algorithm) 을 이용하여 츄리검색에 효율성을 기하였다.
가상현실 기법을 적용한 인터넷쇼핑몰과 소비자 구매의도에 관한 연구

Virtual reality (VR) technique has emerged as a new technique of enabling decision makers to feel virtuality in a more real sense under the complicated decision making situation. However, the shopping malls currently working on the Internet have neglected VR·technique for enhancing their own user-friendliness. There exist various reasons for this. But the most important reason is that the Internet cannot provide a high speed enough to support the full version of VR functions. In this sense, we propose a VR-driven shopping mall with which (1) Customers can navigate through the shopping mall with smaller number of clicks. (2) High level of touch can be provided enough for customers to shop with realistic sense. To prove the validity of our approach, we gathered questionnaire data from 101 MBA students and tested with Extended Fishbein`s Model. Empirical results showed that our approach to Internet Shopping Mall can enable customers to shop effectively and efficiently in that VR-driven Avatar can guide shoppers into target products without naive hyper-linking functions. Therefore, shoppers can be given more intelligent support in terms of guidance.
산업별 지식경영 프레임워크 도출과 실증적 타당성에 관한 연구

Knowledge management has been drawing a great deal of attention from researchers and practitioners since a few years ago. The underlying reason for this phenomenon is that traditional management principles has neglected the importance of the fifth management source named knowledge with which a modern business firm can cope with turbulent environment with a high level of competence and effectiveness. Therefore, as Drucker noted, most of modern business firms realized that they are performing daily managerial activities in a so called knowledge society where knowledge-intensive firms can excel those capital-intensive firms, and be highly evaluated in the market. However, the remaining problem is that there do not exist robust methods for precisely and objectively measuring the amount of intellectual capital or knowledge which is believed to be tacitly stored in the management process, personnel power, and customer relationship which the firm has struggled to obtain in the market.
웹로그 데이터 및 퍼지인식도를 이용한 웹쇼핑몰 사용자 구매패턴 분석

A web shopping mall is a powerful vehicle for attracting a lot of customers to the Internet. To analyze customer`s purchasing pattern, a wide variety of web mining tools were used in literature. However, those tools surfer from the lack of considering cause-effect relationship between several factors consisting of the web shopping mall. In this sense, we propose using fuzzy cognitive map(FCM) to analyze customer`s purchasing pattern. To add more rigorous analysis procedures, we introduce a concept of core FCM and unified FCM, To induce a meaningful FCM, we applied web log analysis, sorting out a set of useful causal relationships among the components of web shopping mall. Simulation results with unified FCM yielded that the proposed approach using FCM is robust and powerful for analysing customer`s hidden purchasing pattern on a specific web shopping mall.

This Paper is aimed at Proposing KMPI (Knowledge Management Performance Index) for evaluating the knowledge management performance of venture businesses. In the aftermath of the frenzy about using the Internet technology in management, knowledge management became a popular management technique because knowledge circulation Process (KCP) within an organization, which is believed to support work process Positively and contribute to creating corporate memory, can be facilitated much more smoothly and fast with the Internet technology being actively adopted as a main telecommunication vehicle. KMPI depends on the qualify of knowledge circulation Process which typically consists of five steps such as knowledge creation, knowledge accumulation, knowledge sharing, knowledge utilization, and knowledge internalization. Especially, venture business is known as active in its knowledge circulation process, However, literature about studying KMPI for evaluating knowledge management Performance of venture businesses does not exist. In this sense, we propose KMPI in a statistically sound way. questionnaire survey was conducted extensively among a lot of venture businesses listed in KOSDAQ. Statistical results were suggested Proving that the proposed KMPI has a significant relationship with typical financial performance measures.
