Research on WPT (Wireless Power Transfer) technologies for locomotives based on large-capacity wireless power transmission systems is underway, and interest pertaining to this technology is also increasing in related industries. Although there is a growing trend for analysis in both domestic and overseas markets, research that supports strategies through detailed technology classification and analysis of the trends for WPT technology for locomotives are insufficient. Therefore, this study is intended to produce detailed research topics, which analyze WPT technology for locomotives, by topic modeling based on the LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) algorithm and to extract topics by time series analysis. It is expected that the WPT technology for locomotives derived from this study and its results will be used to effectively establish the research direction in the future.
