        Effective Range Expansion and Elastic α-12C Scattering at Low Energies

        The elastic α-12C scattering for l = 0, 1, 2, 3 at low energies is studied by using the scattering amplitudes represented in terms of the effective range expansion where four effective range terms are included for l = 0,1,2, and five for l = 3. The first effective range terms are fixed by using the binding energies of the 0+2 , 1−1 , 2+1 , and 3−1 ( lπi−th ) states of 16O, and the other parameters are fitted to the phase shift data. After fitting the parameters to the data, we find that the broad resonant 1−2 and 3−2 states of 16O are well incorporated, without the need to introduce any other parameterization, such as the Breit-Wigner formula or the Pade approximation, in the amplitudes while the narrow resonant 0+3 and 2+2 states are not. We also calculate the asymptotic normalization coefficients for the bound states of 16O and compare them with the previous results in other works.

        Improved Adherence to Positive Airway Pressure Treatment after Covering National Health Insurance in Patient with Obstructive Sleep Apnea: A Tertiary Sleep Center Review

        Objectives: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common clinical disease which has been associated with cardiovascular disease and sudden death. Positive airway pressure (PAP) is the most effective treatment for OSA; however, most patients experience difficulties in tolerating machines, masks, or economic burdens. In Korea, National Health Insurance (NHI) application for PAP started in July 2018. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the PAP adherence and factors contributing to good adherence after NHI coverage in Korea. Methods: A retrospective study was performed to examine 89 patients with OSA who were treated with PAP in 2019. All medical records were analyzed to obtain demographic and clinical data, including personal history, polysomnographic data, and PAP results. Results: A total of 66 participants were included, of which 56 (84.8%) were maintained on PAP therapy after 3 months, and 32 of 42 (76.1%) were maintained on PAP therapy after 6 months; prolonged rapid eye movement (REM) sleep latency, increased non- REM (NREM) apnea-hypopnea index (AHI), and supine AHI significantly contributed to good PAP adherence for 3 months. At 6 months, prolonged REM sleep latency, increased NREM AHI, supine AHI, and increased arousal index significantly contributed to good PAP adherence. However, comorbid hypertension contributed to poor PAP compliance. Conclusions: PAP adherence in patients with OSA was 84.8% after 3 months, and 76.1% after 6 months after NHI coverage in a regional tertiary sleep center in Korea. Prolonged REM sleep latency and increased supine AHI and NREM AHI significantly contributed to good adherence, whereas comorbid hypertension was a factor for poor PAP compliance.

        (-)-Epigallocatechin-3-gallate(EGCG)가 타액선 암세포의 제1형 교원질 부착 및 이동에 미치는 영향

        EGCG has inhibitory effect on a variety of cancers by inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest or inhibiting angiogenesis and metastasis. EGCG has been found to induce apoptosis in salivary gland carcinoma cells. But the potential anti-invasive effect of EGCG in salivary gland cancer has not been studied yet. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of EGCG on salivary gland adenocarcinoma SGT cell adhesion and migration to Type I collagen treatment. Western blot, adhesion and migration assay were performed to evaluate the impacts of EGCG on the expression of MMP-2/-9 and its upstream signaling molecules after treatment of type I collagen. SGT cell adhesion to type I collagen is significantly suppressed by EGCG. EGCG decreased expression of β1 integrin, phosphorylation of FAK, MMP-2/-9 compared with type I collagen treatment. In addition, EGCG inhibited the migration of SGT cells treated with type I collagen. These results suggest that EGCG could effectively inhibit the invasion and migration of human SGT cells by downregulating the expression of β1 integrin and MMP-2/-9 and phosphorylation of FAK, Akt, and Erk. Adhesion and migration to type I collagen of SGT cells can be influenced through EGCG.

        디지털 소자용 방열판 제작을 위한 초고속 금속필름 증착장치 및 공정기술 개발

        최근에 LED나 OLED와 같은 조명용 소자의 온도 상승에 따른 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 전기 도금 방법을 사용하여 제작한 두께가 두꺼운 금속 필름을 heat sink로 사용하고 있다. Cu 필름과 같은 두꺼운 금속 필름은 습식 방법인 전기 도금으로 제작하여 주로 소자의 방열판으로 사용되어 왔으나 건식의 증착 방법을 이용한 수 백 ㎛의 Cu 금속 필름에 대한 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서 설계⋅제작된 유도 가열 방식의 Cu 필름 증착 장비는 가열부가 세라믹 도가니 히터 부분과 세라믹 도가니 부분으로 분리된 이중 구조의 heating 방식을 채택하여 열 손실을 최소화 하고 보온 효과를 극대화시켰다. 또한 유도 가열 방식으로 초고속의 필름 증착 속도를 구현하였다. 그리고 열전도도가 높고 안정적인 두꺼운 Cu 필름 증착 기술을 확보하고 최적화 하여 1000 Å/s의 증착율로 100 ㎛의 필름을 증착 하였으며 ~2.0% 이내의 두께 균일도를 얻었다. To resolve the problem of the temperaturerise in LED or OLED lighting, until now a thick metal film has been used as a heat-sink. Conventionally, this thick metal film is made by the electroplating method and used as the heat-dissipating plate of the electronic devices. However, nowadays there is increasing need for a Cu metal film with a thickness of several hundred micrometers that can be formed by the dry deposition method. In this work, we designed and fabricated a Cu film deposition system where the heating element is separated fromthe ceramic crucible, which makes ultra-rapid deposition possible by preventing heat loss. In addition, the resulting induction heating also contributes to the high deposition rate. By tuning the various parameters, we obtained a 100-μm thick Cu film whose heat conductivity is high and whose thickness uniformity is better than 2%, while the deposition rate is as high as 1000 Å/s.

      • 한국 성인에서 황열 예방접종 후 발생한 이상반응

        Objective: Yellow fever, a mosquito-borne viral hemorrhagic fever, is one of the most lethal diseases. Recently Korea raise nation's states to a higher level by hosting G20 SEOUL SUMMIT 2010. And Korea sends troops overseas such as Peace keeping operation(PKO) to contribute to world peace. Therefore, we carried out this study to provide Overseas dispatch soldiers information about Yellow Fever Vaccine(YFV). Method: This study was conducted at the OO clinic between June 7 to June 24, 2010, for the evaluation of adverse events of YFV. Eighty-three healthy adults were vaccinated YFV(17-DD) and were prospectively monitored for adverse events through questionnaire to July 23, 2010, after YFV vaccination. Results: Adverse events were observed in 41(49.4%) of 83 adults who were vaccinated YFV. Sixty-four of the adults(77.1%) were males. The mean age was 38.2±8.2 years. The common adverse events were myalgia in 28(33.7%), Chilling sense in 25(30.1%), Headache in 21(25.3%). There were no differences of adverse events according to gender or age. Most adverse events were developed between 4~9days after YFV injection. Conclusion: This study showed that adverse events by YFV have a higher incidence and delayed onset time than Influenza Vaccine. Studies are ongoing to clarify the cause and risk factors for rare adverse events.

        1급 감염병 대응교육이 군 병원 간호사의 효능감, 대응의지, 감염관리수행에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of ClassⅠ infectious diseases response education provided to nurses in military hospitals. Methods: Quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group pre-posttest design was used. A total of 57 participants were recruited in this study (29 in the control group and 28 in the experimental group). The experimental group received the ClassⅠ infectious diseases response education for two weeks (10 sessions, 20 hours) from September 4 to 15 in 2023. Results: The experimental group had a significant increase in self efficacy (F=12.57, P=.001), response efficacy (F=15.59, P=<.001), willingness to respond (F=47.15, P=<.001), and infection prevention and control (IPC) compliance related to ClassⅠ infectious diseases (F=4.76, P=.033). Conclusion: The findings suggest that the program could enhance efficacy, willingness to respond, and IPC compliance against ClassⅠ Infectious Diseases among military nurses. Therefore, follow-up research are required for a standard program to be spread across all military hospitals.

        당사자의 목소리로부터의 빈곤 청년의 삶에 대한 탐색

        This study begins with the recognition that the approaches to youths have been made dominantly focusing only on employment from policy-makers’ perspective. In this respect, this study explores the experiences and life of youths in poverty from their own voice. FGIs with eleven youths in poverty reveal that youths in poverty live in the present, with full of anxiety, dissatisfaction and distrust about unfair society and future. They also suffer from family-related problems such as debt from parents and conflicts with family members. Youths in poverty also have human capital-related problems such as lack of education, training and career, social structural problems such as low income and precarious jobs, psychological problems such as low accountability, helplessness and anxiety, and unstable housing. These multi-dimensional problems also work as barriers for youths to live decent lives. This study proposes practical and policy implications for youths with balance between employment and welfare from a bottom-up perspective. 본 연구는 청년에 대한 지원정책이 정책가의 이해만이 아닌 청년 당사자의 이해와 요구를 반영해야하며, 청년의 다차원적인 문제를 다룰 수 있도록 고용과 복지가 균형 있게 다루어져야할시점이라는 문제의식에서 출발하였다. 이를 위한 첫걸음으로서 본 연구는 수급가구 청년 11인에 대한 집단심층면접을 통해 빈곤 청년의 삶을 탐색하였다. 그 결과, 빈곤 청년들은 미래에 대한 걱정과 불안, 불평등한 사회와 기득권층에 대한 불만과 불신을 가지고 생존을 위해 현실을살아내고 있었다. 또한 가족의 빚, 가족 부양과 같은 가족 관련 요인들, 낮은 책임감, 불안감, 무기력감과 같은 심리·정서적 요인, 미래에 대한 준비 부족, 경력 부족과 같은 인적 자본 요인, 주거 불안, 정보 부족, 낮은 임금의 비정규직 일자리와 같은 사회구조적 요인 등을 자신의 삶의어려움이자 장벽으로 인지하는 한편, 복지 제도의 혜택을 받으며 목돈 마련과 더 나은 직업에대한 희망을 가지고 소소한 즐거움을 찾으며 살아가는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 취업관련지원 외에도, 노동법 등 법적·재정적 문제 해결을 위한 지원, 주거 지원, 심리·정서적 상담 지원등 다차원적 측면의 지원에 대한 요구를 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 이러한 당사자의 목소리로부터 제도적, 실천적 함의를 제안한다.

        국군간호사관생도의 그릿과 사회적 지지가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The aim of this study is to identify grit, social support, academic achievement and the influencing factors on the academic achievement among Korea Armed Forces Nursing Academy (KAFNA) cadets. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional descriptive study. Data were collected from October 1 to November 29, 2019, using a self-reported questionnaire on grit and social support among 324 KAFNA cadets. Academic achievement was collected from cadets' grades archive. Results: Grit of KAFNA cadets is 4.22±0.43, social support is 4.29±0.52 and academic achievement is 90.42±2.23. There were statistically significant differences among grit, social support and academic achievement depending on major satisfaction, experience on duties of command of cadets. grit, social support and academic achievement showed a positive correlation. Grit was a significant predictor of cadets academic achievement of KAFNA with accounting for 4.0% of the figure. Conclusion: It is necessary to enhance grit to improve the academic achievement. This conclusion will be used as basic data for developing strategies to improve academic achievement of KAFNA cadets. However grit's explanatory power was low at 4.0% hence, the repeated verification is suggested through follow-up research by exploring relevant factors and redefining academic performance.

        바이오틴 표지 다클론 항체를 이용한 적혈구생성인자 효소면역측정시스템 개발

        배경 : 본 연구에서는 인형 적혈구생성인자(erythropoietin,EPO)에 대한 적정화된 새로운 효소결합면역측정법(ELISA, en-zyme linked immunosorbent assay)을 확립하고자 하였다. 방법 : 인형 EPO에 대한 여러가지의 항체를 만든 후 항원결정기가 다른 항체를 찾아 바이오틴 혹은 서양고추냉이 과산화효소(horse radish peroxidase, HRP)로 표지한 후 차단 용액과 기질을 사용하여 EPO를 측정을 위한 다양한 조건의 실험을 시도하였다. 본 연구에서 수립한 sandwich ELISA 분석법의 평가를 위해,분석감도, 재현성 조사, 직선성 평가, 교차반응성 평가 등을 수행하였다.결과 : EPO 다클론항체에 대한 EPO와 HRP 표지 EPO(EPO-HRP)의 경쟁적 분석 결과, 항체에 대한 EPO의 경쟁이 충분하지 않았다. 샌드위치 효소결합 면역측정법에 이용하고자 하는항체들의 조합에서 다클론항체로 코팅하고 바이오틴 표지 다클론항체로 검출하였을 때 가장 우수한 결과를 보였다. 여러 가지 차단 용액의 ELISA에 미치는 효과를 알아 본 결과 유의한 차이는없었으나 3% 우혈청알부민 (BSA)이 들어있는 PBST (PBST/3%BSA) 사용 시 비특이 반응이 가장 낮게 나왔다. 이 ELISA법은 PBST/3%BSA 이용 시, 10-2,000 mU/mL의 EPO 농도 범위에서 다른 사이토카인에 대한 교차 반응없이 분석이 가능하였다.
