N/A Background : The diagnosis of bromhidrosis is a clinical one, but the definition of normal odor is a poorly defined term. In the Asian population the presence of even a faint odor is considered diagnosite. For the more exact evaluation, it is vital to study more findings associated with bromhidrosis. Recently, several studies have suggested possibility that the activity of sebaeeous gland may be increased in patients wish bromhidrosis. Objective : The aim of this study was to compare the differences of the seborrheie phenotypes and the measured serum level of facial skin surface between patients with bromhidrosis and the normal population. Methods : Twenty patients who were diagnosed with bromhidrosis by nose smell test and age-matehed twenty from the normal population were evaluated wish regard to the presence of seborrhiee skin phenotype suggested by Ely. We also measured sebum level of facial skin by Sebumeter. Results : The presence of some seborrheie skin phentype such as telangiectasia and square palm were increased significantly in the patients. In addition, objectively measured sebum of facial skin surface was relatively increased in the patients. Conclusion : We concluded that there is an association between apocrine bromhidrosis and seborrheis skin phenotype.
디지털 추모에 대한 현상학적 연구: SNS 노란리본 달기 캠페인

‘세월호 침몰 사고’ 이후 SNS 상에서 개인의 프로필 사진을 노란리본으로 변경하는 현상이 발생했다. 본 연구에서는 이를 ‘디지털 추모’ 현상이라고 정의를 내리고, 이 현상에 대한 의미를 탐구하기 위해 질적방법연구 중 하나인 현상학적 방법론을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 디지털 추모 현상을 두고 프로필 사진과 관련된 개인 미디어의 이용경험에 내재해있는 본질적 의미를 기술하고 탐구하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 20 대에서 50 대까지 총 7 명을 대상으로 캠페인 참여 경험이 있는 이용자를 내부자로, 캠페인에 참여하지 않았던 이용자를 외부자로 분류하여 심층 인터뷰(FGI)를 실시하였다. 분석 결과 캠페인에 대한 참여자와 비참여자의 인식이 극명하게 구분되는 것을 알 수 있었다. Recently, it is a rising trend that uploading the image of yellow ribbon to their SNS profile after ‘the sinking of the MV Sewol’ occurred in South Korea. In this light of rising trend, this study investigates the substantial motivation and implications in experiences that participating to ‘cherish the memory digitally’ through a phenomenological analysis. This study is to give a detailed description and explore the essential meaning and structure of user experience relating to changing a SNS profile picture. Data is collected from seven interviewees through in-depth interview. Following phenomenological methods, analysis is conducted in accordance with Moustakas’s procedure.

Follicular hamartoma is a rare, benign adnexal tumor with varieties of clinical diversity. But, Histological feature is characterized by a proliferation of immature hair follicle in the dermis with multifocal islands and thickened perifollicular sheath. Pili multigemini is also a rare, developmental anomaly of hair growth with multiple hairs from two or more matrices and papillae in a single pilosebaceous unit. Its prevalence and pathogenesis are unknown. We describe herein a rare case of localized follicular hamartoma with pili multigemini suggesting the possibility of association on pathogenesis between them. BackgroundMast cell leukemia (MCL) is the most aggressive form of systemic mastocytosis disorders. Owing to its rarity, neither pathogenesis nor standard treatment is established for this orphan disease. Hence, we tried to treat a patient with MCL based on the exome and tran-scriptome sequencing results of the patient’s own DNA and RNA.MethodsFirst, tumor DNA and RNA were extracted from bone marrow at the time of diagnosis. Germline DNA was extracted from the patient’s saliva 45 days after induction chemo-therapy and used as a control. Then, we performed whole-exome sequencing (WES) using the DNA and whole transcriptome sequencing (WTS) using the RNA. Single nucleotide variants (SNVs) were called using MuTect and GATK. Samtools, FusionMap, and Gene Set Enrichment Analysis were utilized to analyze WTS results.ResultsWES and WTS results revealed mutation in KIT S476I. Fusion analysis was performed using WTS data, which suggested a possible RAR-B2M fusion. When RNA expression analysis was performed using WTS data, upregulation of PIK3/AKT pathway, downstream of KIT and mTOR, was observed. Based on our WES and WTS results, we first administered all-trans retinoic acid, then dasatinib, and finally, an mTOR inhibitor.ConclusionWe present a case of orphan disease where we used a targeted approach using WES and WTS data of the patient. Even though our treatment was not successful, use of our ap-proach warrants further validation.

이 연구는 코스 추천 방식과 정보 맞춤화의 효과에 중점을 두고 달리기 앱이 사용자의 동기를 향상시키기 위한 정보 전달 방식을 탐색한다. 제안된 달리기 앱은 사용자 추천, 혹은 알고리즘을 통한 코스 추천과 이성적 (Cognitive) 또는 감성적 (Affective) 격려 메시지를 함께 사용하도록 설계되었다. 더 나아가, 코스 추천 방식과 격려 메세지의 효과를 측정하기 위한 2X2 실험 디자인을 제시한다. 이 연구는 사용자의 달리기 동기를 형성하는 인지적 과정을 바탕으로, 인간-AI 상호작용 (HAAI) 및 건강 커뮤니케이션 분야에 기여하고자 한다.
