Additive manufacturing (AM) technologies have attracted wide attention as key technologies for the nextindustrial revolution. Among AM technologies using various materials, powder bed fusion (PBF) processesand direct energy deposition (DED) are representative of the metal 3-D printing process. Both of theseprocesses have a common feature that the laser is used as a heat source to fabricate the 3-D shape throughmelting of the metal powder and solidification. However, the material properties of the deposited metals differwhen produced by different process conditions and methods. 17-4 precipitation-hardening stainless steel(17-4PH SS) is widely used in the field of aircraft, chemical, and nuclear industries because of its goodmechanical properties and excellent corrosion resistance. In this study, we investigated the differences inmicrostructure and mechanical properties of deposited 17-4PH SS by PBF and DED processes, including theheat treatment effect.

Objectives : This experiment was designed to investigate the effect of the Hwanso-dan hot water extract & ultra-fine powder on microglia and memory deficit model Methods : The effects of the Hwanso-dan hot water extract on expression of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α mRNA and production of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α in BV2 microglial cell line treated by lipopolysacchaide were investigated. The effects of the Hwanso-dan hot water extract & ultra-fine powder on the behavior of the memory deficit mice induced by scopolamine and uric acid & AChE in serum of the memory deficit mice induced by scopolamine were investigated. Results : 1. The Hwanso-dan hot water extract suppressed the expression of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α mRNA in BV2 microglial cell line treated by lipopolysacchaide. 2. The Hwanso-dan hot water extract suppressed the production of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α in BV2 microglial cell line. 3. The Hwanso-dan hot water extract & ultra-fine powder decreased uric acid and AChE significantly in the serum of the memory deficit mice induced by scopolamine. 4. The Hwanso-dan hot water extract & ultra-fine powder groups showed significantly inhibitory effect on the scopolamine-induced impairment of memory in the experiment of Morris water maze. Conclusions : This experiment shows that the Hwanso-dan hot water extract & ultra-fine powder might be effective for the prevention and treatment of Memory deficit disease. Investigation into the clinical use of the Hwanso-dan hot water extract & ultra-fine powder for Alzheimer's disease is suggested for future research.

Objectives: This research investigates the effect of the HBSBS on Alzheimer`s disease. Specifically, the effects of the HBSBS extract on (1) the behavior (2) the infarction area of the hippocampus, and brain tissue injury in Alzheimer`s disease mice induced with βA were investigated. Methods: The effects of the HBSBS extract suppressed the expression of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and NOS-II mRNA in BV2 microglial cell line treated with LPS plus βA were investigated. The effects of the HBSBS extract on the behavior of the memory deficit mice induced by scopolamine were investigated. Results: 1. The HBSBS extract suppressed the expression of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and NOS-II mRNA in BV2 microglial cell line treated with LPS plus βA. 2. The HBSBS extract suppressed the expression of βA protein production in BV2 microglial cell line treated with LPS plus βA. 3. The HBSBS extract showed significantly inhibitory effect on the scopolamine-induced impairment of memory in the experiment of Morris water maze. 4. The HBSBS group suppressed the over-expression of IL-1β protein, TNF-α protein significantly in the mice with Alzheimer`s disease induced by βA. 5. The HBSBS group reduced the infarction area of hippocampus, and controlled the injury of brain tissue in the mice with Alzheimer`s disease induced by βA. 6. The HBSBS group reduced tau protein, and GFAP in the brain tissue of the mice with AD induced by βA. Conclusions: These results suggest that the HBSBS group may be effective for the treatment of AD. Thus, HBSBS could be considered among the future therapeutic drugs indicated for the treatment of AD.

Abstract: Following thesis is about comprehensive treatment of insomnia through stability of the autonomic nervous system. It is widely accepted that most of the relevant symptoms of insomnia can be blamed on successive instability of the autonomic nervous system. In order to treat insomnia effectively, it is essential to maintain stability in the autonomic nervous system. When one is at stable stage of the autonomic nervous system, one maintains steady hormonal discharge. In Oriental Medicine, it is the stage when one has a sound qi-blood circulation. To treat insomnia effectively, one has to obtain both physical and mental relaxation through various ways.
고성능 에너지 저장 소자를 위한 니켈 구조체에 담지된 니켈 코발트 수산화물의 나노 형상 제어

Recently, due to high theoretical capacitance and excellent ion diffusion rate caused by the 2D layered crystal structure, transition metal hydroxides (TMHs) have generated considerable attention as active materials in supercapacitors (or electrochemical capacitors). However, TMHs should be designed using morphological or structural modification if they are to be used as active materials in supercapacitors, because they have insulation properties that induce low charge transfer rate. This study aims to modify the morphological structure for high cycling stability and fast charge storage kinetics of TMHs through the use of nickel cobalt hydroxide [NiCo(OH)2] decorated on nickel foam. Among the samples used, needle-like NiCo(OH)2 decorated on nickel foam offers a high specific capacitance (1110.9 F/g at current density of 0.5 A/g) with good rate capability (1110.9 - 746.7 F/g at current densities of 0.5 - 10.0 A/g). Moreover, at a high current density (10.0 A/g), a remarkable capacitance (713.8 F/g) and capacitance retention of 95.6% after 5000 cycles are noted. These results are attributed to high charge storage sites of needle-like NiCo(OH)2 and uniformly grown NiCo(OH)2 on nickel foam surface.
재활용 절삭칩으로 제조된 AC2B 합금의 용체화 열처리에 따른 미세조직 및 기계적특성 변화

Changes in the microstructures and mechanical properties of an AC2B alloy through solution heat treatment were investigated using recycled AC2B cutting chips as raw material. The as-cast microstructure of the AC2B alloy comprised ${\alpha}$-Al, $Al_2Cu$, and coarse needle-shaped phases considered to be eutectic Si and an Al-Fe-Si based intermetallic compound. After solution heat treatments at $505^{\circ}C$ for 1 h and 6 h, the samples showed complete dissolution of $Al_2Cu$ and relatively fine distribution of intermetallic compounds. Hardness test results showed that the hardness rapidly increased after the solution heat treatment for 1 h by solid solution hardening, and the increase of hardness exhibited a plateau from 1 h to 6 h. The results of the hardness and tensile tests showed that there was no visible difference in the effect of 1 h and 6 h solid solution treatment.
