      • 일본 국정교과서의 사용어휘의 특성

        본 연구은 1903년부터 1949년까지 일본에서 사용한 초등학교 교과서에 나타난 사용어휘의 특성을 다루고 있다. 본 연구에서 다루는 국정교과서는 1903년부터 1949년까지 일본 소학교에서 사용된 일본어 교과서로서 총 71권이다. 연구 방법은 국정1기부터 국정6기까지 발행된 71권의 교과서 전체를 대상으로 이들 속에 나타난 사용 어휘의 특성을 검토하고 나아가 일본 국정교과서의 어휘교육이 궁극적으로 일본 현대 어휘에 미친 영향이라는 면에서 고찰하고자 한다. 이 논문에서는 일본 국정 교과서의 사용어휘의 형식적 특성을 살펴보고, 또 일본 국정교과서의 사용어휘가 어떻게 형성되는가하는 문제를 구체적으로 살펴보기 위하여 그 어휘의 분포 면에서 어떻게 활용되는가 하는 특성, 품사구성 면에서의 특징, 어종에 따른 특징을 개관한다. 이것을 토대로 국정기 교과서의 사용어휘 특질을 살펴보고, 나아가 현대일본어로의 영향이라는 면에서 검토한다.

      • 일본 근대교과서의 문법적 특징 연구

        This paper examines the grammatical characteristics of Japanese textbooks during the process of establishment of Modern Japanese. The material examined in this paper are pre-modern Japanese textbooks which are subdivided into two: ones before and after government intervention. First, the Japanese textbooks before government intervention were investigated. In order to analyze how the Japanese grammar was standardized and popularized, this paper first checks the relationship between textbooks before government intervention and grammar based on colloquial speech, which was considered as the standard grammar by the government at the time. The comparison between textbooks before government intervention and grammar based on the colloquial speech led to the advent of Japanese textbooks made under the supervision of Japanese government. This paper examines the characteristics of Japanese textbooks after government intervention. The textbooks belonging to the first period show that pre-modern (non-standardized) expressions were used with modern ones. It has been clearly observed that from the books belonging to the second period, the grammar was standardized. This paper advances the claim that the grammar education of the Japanese textbooks after government intervention has a big impact on the formation of modern Japanese given the fact that Japanese textbooks made under the supervision of Japanese government was effectively used in standardizing and popularizing the Japanese grammar, which is surely believed to be a crucial foundation for the formation of modern standardized Japanese grammar.

        일본문화이해를 위한 효과적인 일본어 어휘교육

        This paper analyzes the differences in basic vocabulary for Japanese and foreigners as an attempt to effectively understand Japanese culture through Japanese vocabulary education. Suggestions are made for the development of Japanese vocabulary education to enable effective understanding of Japanese culture based on an analysis of differences by target learners. The data presented in this paper are collected from vocabulary educations for Japanese native speakersand learners of Japanese Section 1 introduces the topic and Section 2 outlines basic vocabularies for Japanese native speakers and those for learners of Japanese. Section 3 first classifies basic vocabularies according to their characteristics and then, analyzes each subcategory. The order of the analysis is as follows: common vocabularies, vocabularies included only for Japanese native speakers, vocabularies included only for learners of Japanese. Section 4 examines their semantic characteristics based on buruigiihyou and summarizes differences. In section 5, it proposes new direction for vocabulary eduction for learners of Japanese. Section 6 concludes the paper and argues for need for change from Kango-centered vocabulary education to Wago-centered vocabulary education for learners of Japanese. This study found that vocabulary education for Japanese learners emphasized wako predicates, whereas that for foreigners focused more on kango nouns. It is important to teach both kango and wako as vocabulary for foreigners, so as to enhance their understanding of Japan and Japanese culture. Consistent efforts to include wako predicates in vocabulary education will not only lead to a better grasp of practical Japanese, but also contribute to an effective understanding of Japanese culture.

        국정교과서의 서양지명표기교육의 파급효과에 관한 연구 : 잡지『태양』의 서양지명표기의 변천을 중심으로

        This paper, by analyzing western place names that appear in Taiyou, the modern mass-education magazine, published through 1895to 1925, studies how western place name notations, which were yet to be fully consolidated at the time, were disseminated in the aspect of ripple effects of educating the notation of western place names through the use of government-designated kokutei textbooks. The research method is to study the educational ripple effects that were generated by the transition of western place name notations that were shown in Taiyou, the typical general magazine of the era. The second part of the paper briefly summarizes the value of the kokutei textbook and Taiyou as a linguistic research material. The third part examines the education of western place name notations in modern Japanese language by dividing the timeline into pre-kokutei and kokutei period. The next chapter analyzes the transition of notations in Taiyou. Based on the collected data and its analysis, the last chapter studies how the then divided western places name notations were disseminated and completed through loanword notation education in terms of the dissemination of educative effects.

        현대 일본어 교육기본어휘의 변화 추이 및 특성 : 坂本一浪「교육기본어휘」와 「신교육기본어휘」의 비교

        The subject of this Study is to inspect the change and characteristic of word list for basic vocabulary in the education of modern Japanese. Hence, this study deals with the problem how the basic vocabulary for education of modern Japanese has chosen according to the times, based on Sakamotoitirou kyouikukihongoi and shinkyouikukihongoi . The common word list, additional word list and excluded word list are analyzed with the semantic distribution of bunruigoihyou in the aspect of the change of lexicon of basic vocabulary. On the base of it, it is remarkable that there is an addition of foreign words in kyouikukihongoi . It is closely related to the additional selection of vocabulary regarding necessities of life like food, clothing and house, considering the westernization of life style of people, as well as the introduction of names of objects and technical terms. Moreover, it is observed that there is a large increase of foreign words related to metal activities of human in the education for Middle school students. The stage of middle school is the linking stage to the adult education for cultural subjects and major fields of studies in universities, whereas the stages of the lower grades only needs the basic vocabulary regarding the everyday life. In conclusion, it is shown that the change and characteristic of kyouikukihongoi in modern Japanese leads the more effective education with the reduction of words and the addition of foreign words in the education reflects the westernizing life style of people.         『哲学字彙』의 근대 번역어의 보편성에 관한 연구 : 국정교과서의 확립시점을 중심으로

        This paper aims to research how the modern translated words of Tethugakujii , the Japanese first philosophy dictionary compiled from 1881 to 1912, were accepted and settled in the Japanese general society. The research is focused on the time when the basic vocabulary was included in the national(Kokutei) textbooks which had been published from 1903 to 1948. First, in chapter 2, the value of Tetugakujii as a linguistic material is summarized and the existing studies are reviewed, and the main issue of this paper is suggested. In chapter 3, among the modern translated words of Tetugakujii, the words which were included in national textbooks are analyzed. In chapter 4, on the base of the collected data, the process in which the modern translated words mainly accepted to intellectual persons became established as the educational basic vocabulary for the general public is discussed. In chapter 5, the generalization process of the vocabulary through the education is examined. Finally, chapter 6 suggests the conclusion.

        일본 국정교과서의 어휘교육에 관한 고찰 ─『분류어휘표』의 의미분류면에서─

        본 연구는 일본 국정교과서의 수록 어휘를『분류어휘표』의 분류방식에 따라 분류해봄으로서 현대일본어 성립과정에서 보이는 어휘 교육의 의미별 특징을 파악한 것이다. 본 연구에서 다루는 국정교과서는 1903년부터 1949년까지 일본소학교에서 사용된 일본어 교과서로서 총 71권이다. 연구 방법은 국정1기부터 국정6기까지 발행된 71권의 교과서 전체를 대상으로 일본 국정교과서의 어휘교육이 어떻게 형성되는가하는 문제를 살펴보기 위하여 분류어휘표의 분류방식에 따라 추상적인 관계, 인간활동의 주체, 인간활동-정신 및 행위, 생산물 및 도구, 자연물 및 자연현상 그 외의 경우로 분류하였다. 그 결과 국정교과서의 어휘는 체언류의 비중이 가장 높았다. 또한 추상적인 관계를 나타내는 어휘의 비중이 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 나아가 국정교과서의 어휘 특질을 살펴보고, 현대일본어로의 정착과정에서 일본인의 의식구조가 언어교육에 반영되고 있는 것을 파악하였다.
