한국의 대중독서운동 중 ‘한 책’운동에 대한 사례연구

본고는 한국에서 진행되고 있는 대표적인 대중독서운동 중 하나인 ‘한 도시 한 책 읽기’운동에 대해 분석한 것이다. 구체적으로 김해시에서 진행되고 있는 ‘김해의 책’ 사업을 중심으로 관련성과를 알아보고 분석하는 한편, 향후 개선방향에 대해 논의하였다. ‘김해의 책’ 사업은 2007년에 시작하여 총 19권의 책을 대표도서로 선정하고 독서릴레이, 가족극, 말하기 대회 등의 다채로운 프로그램을 진행하고 있었다. 연구결과, ‘김해의 책’사업은 도서선정과 프로그램의 다양성과, 사업에 대한 지속적인 평가 작업을 진행하는 등에서 그 성과와 의의를 평가할 수 있었다. 향후, 개선방향으로는 성인들에 대한 배려와 지역적 특성을 담은 프로그램 및 사업에 대한 객관적인 평가방법의 개발과 관련 인프라의 구축 등을 제시하였다. We analyzed one of the representative public reading campaigns in Korea called ‘reading a book in a city’. Specifically, we investigated the achievements of ‘a book of Gimhae’ project in Gimhae city, and discussed the direction for further improvement.‘A book of Gimhae’ project started in 2007. They selected 19 representative books, and ran various programs such as a reading relay, family plays, and speaking contests, etc. The research results indicate that it is possible to evaluate the achievement and meaning of ‘a book of Gimhae’ project, through their book selection, diversity of programs, and continuous evaluation work of the project. We suggest that, for further improvement, they should consider adults, create programs utilizing local traits, develop objective evaluation methods for the project, and organize related infrastructure.

일본 도서관의 마케팅 프로그램에 대한 사례 연구

본 논문은 변화된 도서관환경에서 어떠한 마케팅 전략이 필요할 것인지에 대해 논의하기 위하여 일본 도서관의 사례 4개를 조사하여 정리한 것이다. 연구 자료는 문헌을 중심으로 하여 2015년 5월, 11월 두 차례에 걸친 현장조사와 인터뷰를 통해 수집하였다. 첫 번째 사례로는 지역의 상권을 지원하는 마케팅 방법을 사용하고 있는 치요다도서관을 조사하였다. 두 번째로 이용자를 차별하여 엘리트만이 이용이 가능한 회원제 도서관을 운영하고 있는 롯본기도서관을, 세 번째로, 시민단체의 활동을 도서관의 서비스에 접목시켜 활용하고 있는 토치기현의 학교도서관을 조사하였다. 마지막으로 서평배틀이라는 새로운 독서문화 프로그램을 도서관에서 활용하는 사례도 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 도서관에서 새로운 마케팅 프로그램을 개발함에 있어서 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This paper is based on the research on the four libraries in Japan, in which to discuss which marketing strategy would be suitable to adapt in the changed circumstances of the library (in Korea). The data were collected through literature review, field investigation, and interviews. The first case is about Chiyoda Library, where uses a marketing strategy that supports local business area. The second case is about Ropponki Library, where is available for elite members, exclusively, by discriminating users, and the third case is about School library in Tochigi, where is facilitating activities of non-governmental organization with library service. Lastly, there is a case of utilizing new reading culture program, so called Biblio-Battle, in the library. This paper would be useful to develop new marketing program in the library (in Korea).

일본의 도서관인의 전문성에 대한 고민과 그 해답

In recent years, the worries of professionalism of the professions have been long lasting and the debate of securing the expertise by improving the curriculum and qualification system as well. In this study, we have focused on cases where Japanese' securing the expertise of profession through practicing specific and systematic movement by reorganizing the curriculum and implicating an expertise evaluation system. First, we analyzed the relevant qualifications for librarians and education system of Japan. Second, we organize the requirements of the Library and the studies of Library and Information Science (LIS) in Japan to secure expertise. Third, based on the requirements of the site and the results, we have discussed the advantages and disadvantages by focusing on recent changes in the curriculums and expertise evaluation system. 사서직의 전문성에 대한 고민은 오랫동안 지속되고 있으며 최근에는 교육과정 및 자격제도의 개선을 통해 전문성을 확보하려는 논의도 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근 사서직의 전문성 확보를 위해 교과과정을 개편하고 전문성 평가 제도를 도입하는 등의 구체적이고 체계적인 움직임이 이루어지고 있는 일본 사례에 주목하여 우리에게 주는 시사점을 찾으려하였다. 첫째, 일본의 사서관련 자격제도와 교육제도에 대해 분석하였다. 둘째, 전문성 확보를 위한 일본의 도서관정보학 분야의 연구결과와 도서관 현장의 요구를 정리하였다. 셋째, 이러한 연구결과와 현장의 요구를 바탕으로 최근에 변화된 사서교육과정과 전문성 평가 제도에 대해 구체적으로 살펴보고 장 단점에 대해 논의하였다.

도서관문화프로그램에 대한 예비사서의 인식과 참여 실태 연구 분석 - 부산지역을 중심으로 -

이 연구는 예비사서들이 도서관문화프로그램에 얼마나 관심을 가지고 있는지 알아보고, 또한 이러한 관심이 실제적인 참여로 이어지고 있는지를 조사하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 부산지역의 문헌정보학과 학부생 2~3학년을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 설문대상자 중 임의추출을 통해 심층면담도 실시하였다. 그 결과, 현재 문헌정보학과 학부생들은 도서관문화프로그램의 중요성에 대해서는 공감하고 있었으나 실제적인 관심과 참여로 이어지지 않고 있었으며 관련 정보를 획득하는 것에서도 소극적인 자세를 취하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 이러한 문제를 보완하기 위해서는 관련 지식의 습득 뿐 아니라 관심과 참여를 유도하여 경험을 쌓을 수 있도록 지도할 필요가 있어 보인다. This study intends to investigate how many LIS students take a interest in cultural programs offered by local libraries, and whether such a interest leads to actual participation in cultural programs. To the end, surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted on 2nd and 3rd year students from department of Library and Information Science in Busan. The result of this study shows low participation and passive attitude, even though LIS students fully recognize the importance of cultural programs in local libraries. The final suggestions include both educational strategies and practical guidance which might be helpful to attract voluntary participation from prospective librarians and to promote absorption of domain knowledge.

권장도서목록을 활용한 독서토론활동의 설계 - D대학의 사례를 중심으로 -

대학생에게 독서란, 단순히 자신의 인격을 수양하고 즐거움을 위한 개념을 넘어 사회의 변화를 인식하고 적응해나갈 수 있는 힘을 길러 줄 수 있는 중요한 인성 교육이자 진로 교육의 방법 중 하나이다. 이에 대학에서는 독서관련의 교양수업을 개설하거나 필수 학점을 구성하는 등의 강제적인 지도에서부터 대학생에게 적합한 인문·교양도서를 선정하고 그 목록을 제공하는 등의 간접적인 지원활동에 이르기까지 다양한 방식으로 대학생의 독서활동을 지원하고 있다. 본 연구는 현재 대학에서 운영하고 있는 독서지원방법 중 권장도서목록과 이를 활용한 독서활용방법의 문제점을 분석하고 이에 대한 개선방안을 제안하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 D대학의 권장도서목록과 독서토론프로그램의 현황을 파악하고 문제점을 알아보았다. 기존의 권장도서목록은 주제분야와 자료가 현시대상을 제대로 반영하지 못하고 있었으며, 제공되는 목록에 대한 정보도 서지사항정도에 지나지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 권장도서목록을 활용방법에 대한 제안도 부재함을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 주제분야의 다양한 구성과 참조정보를 보완한 권장도서목록을 제안하였고, 하브루타를 활용하여 독서토론방법을 구조화하였다. For University students, reading is one of the important way of character education and career education that can give students the power to recognize and adapt to changes in society. The university supports the reading activities of university students in various ways, such as opening liberal arts courses related to reading or setting up required credits. In addition, it supports activities such as selecting the recommended book list for university students and providing the list. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of the current university's recommended book list and methods of using reading, and to propose improvement plans. To this end, using D University as an example, the current status of the recommended book list and reading discussion program were identified, and problems were investigated. In the current recommended book list, the subject area and list did not properly reflect the times, and the information on the provided list was very simple. Also, it was found that there was no suggestion on how to use the recommended book list. Through this, the recommended book list with the addition of bibliographic information and composition of the subject area was proposed. In addition, the reading discussion method was structured using Havruta.

일본의 학교도서관과 공공도서관의 협력화 사업의 현황과 특성

학교도서관의 역할을 보완하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 타 관종, 그 중에서도 특히 공공도서관과의 협력체계 구축을 통한 역할의 강화가 활발히 논의되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 일본의 협력형 운영사례를 살펴보고 한국의 적용가능성을 고민해보고자 했다. 이를 위해 일본의 학교도서관과 공공도서관의 협력화 사업의 현황을 알아보고 그 특징과 문제점에 대해 논의하였다. 첫째, 일본학교도서관의 인적 시설적 현실을 살펴보고, 관련정책을 정리하였다. 둘째, 학교도서관의 협력 현황을 전체적으로 조망해보고, 정부적 차원의 협력사업과 지자체차원의 협력 사업으로 나누어 분석하였다. 마지막으로 일본의 협력사업의 특징을 정리하고 우리에게 주는 시사점에 대해 고민하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mutual cooperations of school and public libraries in Japan, and to investigate the possibility of its application to Korea. To the end, discussed in details are the characteristics and limitations of cooperative activities between school and public libraries in Japan. The major contents of this study are as follows: First, analyzed are the present conditions of school libraries in Japan, with emphasis on human resources, facilities, and school library policies. Second, comprehensively investigated are the cooperation projects of school and public libraries which have been conducted by the central and local governments. Finally, discussed are the meanings of library cooperations in Japan and its implications for Korea.

학교도서관을 활용한 독서 멘토링 활동의 경험과 교훈

학교도서관이 상황이 열악하다보니 학교도서관의 운영이나 독서교육과 관련하여 지역의 공공도서관에 도움을 청하는 학교가 적지 않다. 그러나 공공도서관이 처한 여러 가지 현안을 해결해 나가는 데에도 벅찬 실정에서 학교도서관 지원에 관한 업무까지 해나가야 한다는 사실에 공공도서관에서는 적지 않은 부담을 느끼고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 부산시에서는 지역대표도서관인 부산시립시민도서관과 대학의 문헌정보학과, 그리고 지역교육청이 공동으로 참여하여 '학교도서관을 활용한 독서 멘토링 활동'을 시범적으로 전개해 보았다. 이 연구는 지난 7개월 간의 경험을 토대로 학교도서관의 독서교육을 활성화하기 위한 방안으로서 독서 멘토링 활동의 효과에 대해 고찰하는데 목적을 두고 있다. Cooperation with public libraries for strengthening the solid foundation and the reading education of school library have been recommended in Korea. However with the immensity of the task, public libraries are under considerable pressure for the unilateral support. Under these circumstances this study developed and implemented the reading mentoring programs for school libraries with the help of public libraries, LIS schools, and Busan Metropolitan office of Education. On the basis of the result, this study analyzed the effect and the feasibility of the reading mentoring programs for improving the reading education in school libraries. This study emphasized to derive a lesson of immeasurable value from 7 months' experience in the 2 elementary schools.

외국인 노동자 H의 삶과 정보빈곤

The purpose of this study is to discuss the lives of foreign labor in S. Korea from the perspective of their information behavior. Special concern was on investigating both meaning and value of information in their everyday lives. Also discussed was information poverty which most of them have been faced with. To this end, a typical foreign labor sample, who were named as 'H', was carefully chosen, observed, and interviewed. Through the investigation this study found out there were many barriers that had negative influences on their active information seeking and use. Also found out is most of the barriers comes from the individual factors as well as socio-structural ones. In conclusion this study suggests the basic strategies to improve and promote their information welfare. 이 연구의 목적은 경제적 이유로 한국에 입국하여 거주하고 있는 외국인 노동자의 삶을 정보행태적 관점에서 조망해 보는데 있다. 이 연구에서는 다양한 국적의 외국인 노동자 집단 중에서 단일 민족집단으로는 가장 커다란 규모로 파악된 조선족 노동자 집단에 논의의 초점을 맞추었다. 조선족 노동자의 일상적 삶에 있어서 정보가 갖는 의미를 찾고자 하였으며 그들이 처해 있는 정보빈곤의 실태를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구방법에 있어서는 조선족 출신의 미등록 노동자 'H'를 조사 대상으로 삼아 사례연구의 형태로 진행하였으며, 집중적인 참여관찰을 통해 H의 삶과 정보행태에 대한 데이터를 수집하였다. 수집한 데이터에 근거하여 H의 고민을 정보요구의 관점에서 해석하고, H가 처해있는 정보빈곤의 실태와 유발 요인에 대해 논의하였다. 끝으로 H와 같은 외국인 노동자의 정보복지를 향상하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

독서동아리 운영현황과 과제: 지자체 지원 사업을 중심으로

이 연구는 독서동아리에 대한 사회적 지원이 확대되고 있는 상황에서, 지자체의 지원을 받고 운영된 독서동아리를 사례로 실제 운영현황은 물론 정책적 지원이 독서동아리 활동에 얼마나 유용한지에 대한 검증작업을 수행해보고, 향후 독서동아리 활성화를 위해 해결해야 할 과제가 무엇인지 논의하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 (1) 독서동아리의 구성요건과 독서동아리 참여 현황을 전반적으로 살펴보고, (2) 독서동아리의 운영실태를 바탕으로 동아리 회원의 관점에서 살펴본 동아리 활동의 만족도를 분석해봄으로써 지금까지의 성과와 지원활동의 의미를 확인하면서 (3) 향후 독서동아리 활성화를 위해 검토하고 준비해야할 과제가 무엇인지에 대해 논의하였다. 논의에 필요한 데이터의 수집을 위해 A지자체의 지원을 받은 15개 독서동아리 회원을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 수집된 데이터는 빈도분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. With social support for reading clubs expanding, the purpose of this study is to examine the operational status of reading clubs, to investigate how useful policy support is, and to discuss the challenges to be solved in order to vitalize the reading clubs in the future. To the end, this study intends (1) to investigate the composition of the reading club and the status of participation in the reading clubs, (2) to analyze the satisfaction of club activities from the perspective of club members, and identify the results and the meaning of support activities so far, and (3) to discuss strategies to vitalize reading clubs. The data for discussion were collected through a survey of reading club members supported by a local government, and the collected data was analyzed using frequency analysis.

대학의 학과기록물관리 현황과 과제 -D대학교 조교의 사례를 중심으로-

학과기록물은 대학 본부 차원에서 생산⋅관리되는 기록물과 더불어 대학의 투명한 행정체계와 명확한 학사관리를 위한 중요한 자산으로 자리하고 있다. 체계적인 대학기록물의 관리를 위해서는 학과기록물에 대해 관심을 가지고 세심한 관리전략을 필요로 한다. 이에 본 연구는 학과 단위에서 생산되는 기록의 유형을 파악하기 위해 학과기록물의 유형을 전자형태와 비전자형태로 구분하고, 이를 다시 전자형태의 경우, 전자문서와 전자파일로, 비전자형태의 경우는 종이기록과 행정박물로 유형화하였다. 연구방법은 학과기록물이 처리되는 과정에 대해 실체적으로 접근하기 위해 D대학교의 학과조교 14명을 대상으로 구조화된 면담 및 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과, 시스템을 통해 관리되는 ‘전자문서’를 포함한 대부분의 학과기록물은 학과의 업무담당자인 조교의 임의판단에 의해 관리되고 있었으며, 이로 인해 각 학과마다 기록의 분류 체계, 보존 방식, 폐기 방식 등이 모두 상이하게 이루어지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 조사결과를 바탕으로 학과기록물을 체계적으로 관리하기 위한 방안 및 지침이 부재함을 지적하고, 향후 문제점 해소를 위한 방안으로 대학 차원에서 학과의 기록물관리체계의 정립하고, 관련 표준 마련 및 교육 강화를 제안하였다. To investigate the present status of Academic department records, this study divided the types of Academic department records into electronic type and non-electronic type, referring to the kind and content of each type of college archives and categorized the electronic type into e-documents and e-files and the non-electronic type into the paper records and administrative artifacts. this study conducted a structured interview and survey with 14 department administrative assistants in charge of departmental administrative work in ‘D’ University. As a result of a survey, most Academic department records, including ‘e-documents’ managed through a system were managed by the discretionary judgment of an assistant, the person in charge of departmental work, and it was noted that accordingly, there were differences in the record classification system, conservation method and discarding method in each department. Based on the results of the survey of the present status of this Academic department records management, this study pointed out that there was a lack of measures and guidelines for systematic management of Academic department records as a cause of the present status of the poor Academic department records management. Thus, as measures for the resolution of the problems in the future, this study proposed the preparation of the related criteria, the improvement of education.
