데이터베이스 기반의 PCL 로직 아웃사이드 미러 폴딩 시스템 설계 및 구현

This paper suggests outside mirror folding system with yProgrammable Current Limit (yPCL). In a system with existing PCL logic, the MCU (Micro Controller Unit) cuts the voltage off to the operating load when it detects overcurrent on load circuit. However, this existing PCL system does not consider that environmental factors, battery voltage in a vehicle or weather, are able to affect the PCL logic. As a result, this system logic can be less efficient and has a limit designed with PCL logic based on fixed current data. This paper indicates an outside mirror folding system with the PCL logic called yPCL which operates based on a database be composed of time parameters that take into account actual battery voltage state in a vehicle and outside temperature. With the proposed system, we expect to demonstrate improved energy efficiency by setting the value of the cut-off current and optimize folding/unfolding operating time based on the database.

This paper suggests Outside Mirror Stall Area Learning Algorithm based on angular velocity of actuator. In an existing mirror positioning system on Outside Mirror, Manual and Playback functions keep operating mirror actuator to goal angle during designated time. However, the existing mirror positioning system doesn’t consider about preventing stall current to protect actuator. This paper suggests that outside mirror with stall area learning algorithm. With the proposed system, we show the way to avoid stall current.
