        초등학생의 주의력결핍과잉행동 증상과 인터넷 중독 경향성, 우울, 불안 증상의 관련성

        Objectives:This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Symptoms and Internet Addiction, Depression, and Anxiety in Elementary-school Students. Methods:Participants were 477 children, ranging from the 4th to the 6th grade in elementary school and their parents. The participants completed the following measures; the Korean version of the parent ADHD Rating Scale (K-ARS), the Korean version of the Conners Parent Rating Scale (K-CPRS), the Korean version of the Child Behavior Checklist (K-CBCL), the Young’s Internet Addiction Test (IAT), the Children’s Depression inventory (CDI), and the Revised Children’s Manifest Anxiety Scale (RCMAS). Results:ADHD symptoms, depression, and anxiety symptoms were significantly related to Internet addiction severity. After we controlled for the effects of sex, depression, and anxiety symptoms, ADHD symptoms predicted Internet addiction severity, as parent-reported and as child-reported. However, there were some differences between parent-report scale scores and child-report scale scores. In the parent reports, ADHD symptoms correlated more significantly with Internet addiction than with either depression or anxiety symptoms, whereas the child reports, depression contributed more to Internet addiction than did ADHD symptoms. Conclusion:These results suggest we might need to pay more attention to diagnosing and treating Internet addiction, since different informants could be reporting the variables affecting internet addiction differently.

        명시적 수업 모형을 적용한 중학생의 과학탐구기능 교수・학습 자료 개발

        In addition to learning scientific knowledge, students also improve their scientific thinking skills through scientific inquiry. Therefore, improving students' science process skills is an important goal for science education. This study developed and evaluated 7 teaching materials to teach middle school students' science process skills based on an explicit instructional model. The teaching materials were composed of 3 levels applying explicit instruction; ‘explanation and demonstration’, ‘guided practice’ and ‘independent practice’. For easy application to an actual class in school, the topics of these materials were based on the 2009 revised science curriculum. These topics included: ‘Observing lily and celery', ‘Formulating a hypothesis on the experiment of transpiration’, ‘Transforming the experiment data of photosynthesis to table and graph’ and ‘Analyzing the graph of photosynthesis in different circumstances’ in the ‘Photosynthesis’ unit, ‘Controling variables in the experiment of digestion of saliva’ in the ‘Digestion-Respiration- Circulation-Excretion’ unit, ‘Recognizing the problems related to the sense of human body’ in the ‘Stimulus and Response’ unit, and ‘Classifying organisms’ in the ‘Genetics and Evolution’ unit. The majority of the teachers responded that they would like to apply these materials to their classes because all the materials would help students improve their science process skills, and would be appropriate to apply in an actual class. However, they voiced some concern that some of the materials might be a bit too difficult for middle school students to perform. These materials can be used as complements to inquiry activities in the science textbook to help improve students’ science process skills 과학 탐구는 과학을 하는 방법으로 새로운 지식을 만드는 방법일 뿐 아니라 과학적 사고력을 증진시키며, 이는 과학적 소양을 함양하는 데 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 관찰, 분류, 문제 인식, 가설 설정, 변인 통제, 자료 변환, 자료 해석 기능을 교수・학습하기 위한 자료를 각각 개발하였다. 이 자료들은 명시적 수업 모형을 적용하여 ‘설명 및 시범’, ‘안내된 연습’, ‘독립적 연습’의 3단계로 구성하였고, 자료의 주제는 2009 개정 과학과 교육과정의 생명과학 영역의 내용과 탐구활동을 토대로 선정하여 중학교 과학 수업에서 쉽게 활용할 수 있게 하였다. ‘광합성’ 단원에서는 ‘백합과 샐러리 관찰하기’, ‘증산 작용 실험에 관한 가설 설정하기’, ‘광합성 실험 결과를 표와 그래프로 표현하기’, ‘여러 가지 환경요인에 따른 광합성량을 나타낸 그래프 해석하기’의 4 개의 자료를 개발하였고, ‘소화・순환・호흡・배설’ 단원에서는 ‘침의 소화 실험에 대해 변인 통제하기’를, ‘자극과 반응’ 단원에서는 ‘우리 몸의 감각에 관련된 문제 인식하기’를, 그리고 ‘유전과 진화’ 단원에서는 ‘생물 분류하기’를 개발하였다. 이 자료들에 대해서 중학교 과학 교사 14명의 의견을 조사한 결과, 대부분의 교사들이7개의 자료 모두 중학생의 과학탐구능력을 향상시키는 데 도움을 줄 것이고, 학교 수업에 적용하기에 적절하며, 이 자료들을 자신의 수업에 적용할 의사가 있다고 응답하였다. 다만 내용 수준에 대해서는 일부 자료가 중학생의 수준에 비해 어렵다는 의견이 있었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 과학탐구기능 교수・학습 자료는 학교 현장에서 교과서 탐구 활동을 보완하여 학생들의 과학탐구능력을 향상시키는 데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

        IPA를 활용한 보육지원서비스에 대한 창업성장 단계별 개선방안

        The government focuses on promoting start-ups, fostering ventures, and creating an ecosystem of start-ups through the formation of a strong growth environment for small businesses. This study provides academic and practical implications about ways of improving our business incubator’s support service across stages of growth through IPA. To this end, an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) was conducted to analyze relationship and differences in importance and satisfaction of business incubator’s support service support at business incubation center. These results present to provide the following academic and practical implications. The academic implications are the need for differences in support services for each phase of start-up growth. As factors that could increase the likelihood of successful start-up were identified in each phase of the start-up growth, important information needed for policy and strategy was provided. As a practical suggestion, the managers and expert groups are presented with sections to be opened for each start-up growth stage, minimum effort input, and areas to be maintained continuously. A systematic support plan is established and a foundation is provided for improvement measures in efficient start-up business incubator’s support service.

        Pt 기반 이원계 나노입자의 산소 및 일산화탄소 흡착 특성에 대한 전자밀도함수이론 연구

        We perform density functional theory calculations to study the CO and O2 adsorption chemistry of Pt@X core@shell bimetallic nanoparticles (X = Pd, Rh, Ru, Au, or Ag). To prevent CO-poisoning of Pt nanoparticles, we introduce a Pt@X core-shell nanoparticle model that is composed of exposed surface sites of Pt and facets of X alloying element. We find that Pt@Pd, Pt@Rh, Pt@Ru, and Pt@Ag nanoparticles spatially bind CO and O2, separately, on Pt and X, respectively. Particularly, Pt@Ag nanoparticles show the most well-balanced CO and O2 binding energy values, which are required for facile CO oxidation. On the other hand, the O2 binding energies of Pt@Pd, Pt@Ru, and Pt@Rh nanoparticles are too strong to catalyze further CO oxidation because of the strong oxygen affinity of Pd, Ru, and Rh. The Au shell of Pt@Au nanoparticles preferentially bond CO rather than O2. From a catalysis design perspective, we believe that Pt@Ag is a better-performing Ptbased CO-tolerant CO oxidation catalyst.

      • 성범죄자의 형사책임능력 평가에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 연구

        Objective This study analyzed factors affecting feeble-mindedness or insanity following a forensic evaluation for sex offenders, and to present a scientific basis that can provide practical assistance on a responsibility evaluation of sex offenders. Methods This study analyzed retrospectively 180 mental appraisals on sex offenders among mental appraisals documented by one psychiatrist from June, 2012 to December, 2015 at the National Forensic Hospital. Results Of the 180 mental appraisals, 123 people (68.3%) were found to be feeble-minded or insane, and 57 people (31.7%) were considered to be sane, i.e., competent to take responsibility. The two groups were different in IQ, occupational & marital status, victim numbers, psychiatric diagnosis, and sex offender characteristics, such as violence and intrusiveness. After evaluating the influence of variables that showed significant differences between the two groups on a responsibility assessment, sex offenders with fewer invasive sex offenses (OR=1.763, p<0.05), lower IQ (OR=1.031, p<0.01), lower numbers of victims (OR=1.349, p<0.05), and higher number of mental illnesses (OR=0.507, p<0.05) were more likely found to be feeble-minded or insane. Conclusion This study indicates that criminal responsibility may be intact in repeat sex offenders who commit invasive sex crimes, such as rape, and is without intellectual disability compared to other kinds of sex offenders. Subsequent research will be needed to improve the objectivity and reliability of mental appraisals on sex offenders in the future.
